An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good!'

Caleb sat at his desk tapping his pen on the smooth surface. The smell of lemon and chemicals filled ihs nose as the teacher ran around the room spraying every surface before wiping at it briskly with a cloth. A chubby boy sat next to him staring at his hands they were shaking slightly as he wrote quickly. "Hey excuse me" Calbe whipered to him grinning. The boy looked up quickly his eyes growning wide. He began to move nervously in his seat his mouth open slightly gasping at hte air around him. Hesitating Caleb watched as the boy's arms began to flew slightly "Ah can you tell me what we have to do?" he said staring at the boy's arms. "I have finished" Caleb muttered "That fast" the boy said Caleb nodded frownign at his expression "It's easy" "Sorry I always had trouble at this type of work" "Instead of subsatuting your numbers carry them through till you get the answer" The boy looked down at his work blinking a the sheet. Nathan sat at the back of the class. He frequently dried his sweaty palms on his pants. The teacher, who was a Siren cried at almost everything. If a kid got a low grade she cried. If they got a very high grade she cried. If they came in late, she cried. It was really, really annoying.
The fact that she was his literature teacher meant that she cried when he submitted his autobiography to her.

The creator hasn't read my PM yet, and no one else seems to care about this storybook anymore. Will consider it dead and will do a cool ending if no new activity happens.
