The hall swam in circles around him. Nathan couldn't tell the ceiling from the floor. He couldn't believe the bloody bird man had escaped him. He stayed flat on his stomach for what seemed like hours, his chest heaving up and down. His skull thumped like it had a heartbeat.

When he finally regained coordination he stood up on his hind legs and stalked toward the door of his prey. He scraped the door with his claws. The scraping sounds sound would drive anybody to insanity.

The bird man inside did not respond. Nathan growled a throaty rumble. Then he rapped three times on the door.

"I won't open my door big bad wolf," the bird man inside said, "not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!"

Nathan howled in rage. How dare the meat play taunt me! With a parody of The Three Little Pigs!

Nex

Nex closed his eyes for a long time and then said, "I would let you in, but then my room would smell like wet dog."

The werewolf howled in anger. Nex opened his eyes, "My name is Nex. Nex Custos. You'll be happy to know that when you revert to your human form. Come after me when you're human and then the fight will be fair."

The bashing stopped for a second and Nex's smile didn't change.

Nathan stopped his pounding, and felt a tear streak down his fur. He was... nothing in his human form. Nathan Drake was only cool in the video gaming world. The real Nathan Drake was an acne faced loser. He wasn't even good in classes. He was just a, a... failure.

He growled at the mean bird man named Nex before running out of the academy. He felt the tears dampen his fur under his eyes as he crashed through the woods. He would not fee tonight, he would only find a hole to crawl into and sleep away his sorrow.
Maybe I should just throw this wretched monster off a cliff, which means... myself.

He howled as he ran, the moon bathed him in it's ghostly glow. Why did he love the Moon so much? What had it ever done for him? What had anything, or anybody ever done for him!? He had been sixteen for hundreds of years! Long before glasses were ever invented. But, in his wolf form he didn't need them, for he had the vision of an eagle.

Nathan was asleep curled up in a ball under a hollowed out log. He didn't feel the insects crawling around his naked body. His fur was in clumps around him. It kept him warm. When he awoke he would feel ashamed of being naked. And if any of the bullies from the academy saw him...

(Out of character, goodnight people. *Yawn* Don't kill off my character while I am asleep :D )

Nex

Pulling himself up, his muscles throbbing, his wings pulsating and his mouth smiling, he made his way to his empty bed. Nex thought out loud.

"I could've sworn I heard that monster crying." Nex mused, as he thudded into the bed.

He wings screamed as they felt the bounce and Nex took a deep breath. They hurt to much to use, so with his hands he pushed them into place and took off his bag. The little detour had been worth it.

He picked up the picture of the woman he had never known. Dolor, his mother. Gently wiping a finger over the frame he smiled a little bit more sincerely. Nex looked nothing like his mother. The only thing he got from her had been life.

With a dry chuckle, he placed the frame onto his bedside table and stared at the blank faintly mauve coloured wall. He closed his eyes, fell onto his side and waited for sleep to claim him. It didn't come. Nex let out a sigh and stood. It had been a while since he had last slept. Ever since the start of the semester.

Actually his father had been home a lot recently. Nex gritted his teeth in anger and curled his hands into fists, instinctively his wings quivered as well. The pain from his overuse of his wings was vastly out-weighed by the resent he felt towards his father.

Nex walked towards the window and sat on the rocking chair, watching the sky and waiting for the sun to rise. When it finally filtered through his window, he stood and walked towards the shower.

He stripped down and had a chilly cold one; because he was The Ice King.

Since he hadn't attended last night's night class he had to go to the early morning one. Shoving on his uniform, Nex packed his bag. Just a simple pen and writing book. That was all he needed.

When he finished he looked himself in the mirror. Instantly he looked away and exited, heading towards class. It was the relfection he hated most, the one he reviled.

Because even in the non-existant world of the reflections, he was still smiling.

As it says above I moved my part down here because it didn't fit up there.

Leo~

The sun was shining though the thin window's of my dorm room. Groaning I rolled over burrying my head into my pillow. Pain ran up my leg cringing I began to kneed at it with my thumb willing the pain away. Sitting up I looked outside, the sun's rays sparkled over the outside area lighting up the indivual leaves in the trees.
"Class" I muttered stumbling out of my bed walking towards the window. Opening it I stared out taking in a deep breath. The breeze wafted around my face making my hair sway. Sighing I pushed myself back, falling onto my bed I stared up at the pale white ceiling. Dangling my feet in the air my ears began to flop backwards and forward playfully. Jumping up I skipped towards my cupboard opening it up to get my school uniform.
Birds sung peacefully as the skirted around the tree tops, picking at the fruit above. Pulling on my skirt I watched as a plum was stolen from a curling branch leading towards teh ground. Tying the around the collar of my blouse I pulled on the blazer walking towards my bed side table.
Pulling my hair up into a casual high ponytail I grabbed at my book bag and skipped out of my room humming to myself. My shoes hit the ground noisily echoing in the deserted hall's. I was always first up, I couldn't ever sleep in. Freezing I cursed my tail and ears were still out. I saw a door open slowly, squealing I turned and ran back towards my room closing hte door in a hurry.
Sighing I began to pant my back still towards the door. Frowning I pulled my tails up under my skirt wrapping around my waist. I grabbed at the cat eared beanie on my bed side table I pulled hair out from the pony tail and pulled the beanie over it. Cursing my own stupidty I peered down the hallway.

Nathan ran to his house, cautious to not run into any wanderers in the woods. He could hear hunters fire their rifles. So harsh, man had to use instruments of death to kill. Nathan had the ability to transform into a beast that killed his prey with mercy. All that his prey felt before death was fear. But, for some reason Nathan enjoyed prey that fought back.

Because as a werewolf he was string. But, in his human form he was weak. In fact at this very moment he was short of breath, and his legs were burning so badly that he felt like collapsing on the ground. He let his pace halt and he shuffled the rest of the way home. A pair of clothes waited him. But first he'd no doubt have to endure verbal abuse from his parents. And to go along with it probably brutal physical punishment.

His parents didn't know what he was. Adoptive parents, his real parents died centuries ago. They got so drunk at night that they wouldn't even remember hearing him howling at night in the house even if they woke up in the middle of the night during one of his transformations. Sometimes he wondered if he could be heartless enough to actually kill them while they slept and feast on their flesh.

I am such a failure. I have been living for ages and I still cannot fend for myself. Why haven't I let death overcome me? What is it that drives me forward, when there is nothing to look forward to?

The morning sun shined down on him. He hated that orb of light, he hoped one day the moon would kill it.

Caleb~

Caleb stared down at his shoes as he walked up the stairs towadrds the enterance of Light Academy. The Principal Mrs. Light followed after him speaking in a non-attatched tone
"You see we give each and every student a chance to taste the different varities of subjects we have on off here at Light Academy" she pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose staring off at a group of giggling girls.
Caleb rolled his eyes as he stepped through the large door. At the bottom there large scratched indinted into its hard surface.
"Squirrel problem?" Caleb asked pointing at the door frame.
"You could say that" she tossed her hair behind her shoulders moving her hands expressively. She looked sourly down towards the door cringing at it with disgust. For a supposedly old lady she looked quite young without even a wrinkle breaking her elegant face.
"I am sure you will fit right in here" she began again staring up at the pictures on the walls. "In fact all of our students get on here. I cannot recall a bullying incident at this school" Caleb nodded. He stared in to one of the classroom's as he walked past it. A boy with a thin build and glasses to large for his face was sitting at a table wiping at his eyes furiously. A larger boy stood over him saying something in a deep voice.
'Yeah no bullying' Caleb thought to himself as he climbed the stairs. Students stood around looking at Caleb as he brushed past them keeping his eyes forward. A door opened in front of him, stopping he watched as a boy with a large smile on his face stepped out.
"We offer good meals and appropriate places to sleep..." Mrs. Light stepped past Caleb expecting him to follow. "That is why we have won many award's for our boarding students"
She pointed down a walkway, her soft foot steps echoing through the thick walls.
"Here is your room" she stopped in front of a long door the paint around the top was beginning to chip. "I hope your stay here is adequate"

"Please... leave me alone," Nathan said trying to walk around his tormentor.

"Whoa, wow, buddy calm down," said the big kid.

"No, you calm down," Nathan said in a quivering voice. "You don't want to change the academy's status of being bully free."

"What makes you think I care about that? And who's gonna know?" the buy said looking around. "See, nobody seems to think I'm bullying you."

Nathan wanted to call out for somebody to help him, but he was too afraid to. And besides, who would go out of there way to defend him?"

Nex

Nex walked through the hallways. People seemed to step out of his way, clearing a useful path. He was sure he had walked through this way already. Nex, unused to the morning classes, was undoubtedly lost.

He blinked once, and then turned right. He noticed a rather amusing event occurring. A fat seemingly harmless browned haired boy with glasses that looked large enough to fit an owl looked as though he were getting bullied. Nex paused to watch and listen.

A few people around him moved away rubbing hands up and down their shoulders, as if chilled by his smiling presence. Nex paid them no mind, or at least that was what he told himself. He was watching from the second balcony while the event was happening on the floor.

Nex propped his chin upon his hand and leaned onto the railing, listening and watching the event take place.

"Please... leave me alone," said the fat boy.

"Whoa, wow, buddy calm down," said the bully.

"No, you calm down," the fat boy was blubbering, he obviously had no backbone, "You don't want to change the academy's status of being bully free."

"What makes you think I care about that? And who's gonna know?" this bully had a strange point to his pointless yammering and he looked around as if sensing my unsaid agreement, "See, nobody seems to think I'm bullying you."

Nex rolled his eyes. Though he realised something. A feeling gripped his chest like a wrench and it was tightening. The situation. The questions. The fear. It was all too familiar. His smiled became tight-lipped.

Without thinking he launched himself from the balcony, spreading his wings, and descended to the ground level. He landed gracefully, but hid the pain his crooked wings gave him from both their use now and the use last night. Nex didn't notice the little leak of blood oozing out of the join of his right wing.

He stared the bully down, Nex's eyes did not close and their light hazel colour hardened into a dark mahogany. His smile was the same as ever, if perhaps it was possible, it was colder. Without even speaking, Nex's message was conveyed, I do not like your attitude. The bully visible shrunk away, with little more than a whimper he ran and his comrades fled as well.

Nex laughed dryly at their cowardly forms and turned away from the boy still looking a bit shocked. Nex muttered to himself as he began to walk away, ignoring the insistent pulsation of his right wing, "Now, I still have to find my class."

As he looked up he noticed the small trickling of red staining his grey wings. It usually took a lot of effort for a Morri's wing joints to bleed. Nex flicked away the blood with his hand. Well, he wasn't the usual Morri. He was the Ice King.

Bleeding from his wings and hiding pain from both his past as well as his present, Nex still smiled.

*Wow, I make really long posts. And, yes, Nex is a very depressed person. :P*

Nathan shivered as he walked to class. Why was that creepy bird guy always smiling? And why did he seem familiar. Something suddenly hit him about the fact that his wings were bleeding. What if eh had attacked him when he was in his werewolf form? He never remembered any of the things he did as the beast. Perhaps it was a good thing. Did he really want to live through his Nathan days knowing he had slaughtered life?

And since he didn't know exactly how he was as a werewolf, how could he be sure that he was merciful when he hunted? For all he knew he could be the most barbaric of animals who played with his food like a cat.

"Ohf!" Nathan exclaimed as he was bumped from the side by the surging crowd of students. He felt his glasses slip from under his pathetically skinny nose. They clanged on the floor and seemed to echo louder than all the chattering voices and footsteps. He bent down and scooped them up. Placing them back on his nose he shuffled to class, wary of any other overly enthusiastic students.

Unlike them he had no true desire to go to class. Why was it that he had to go to school every few decades? Why couldn't things stay the same? Modern times were brutal compared to the ways of the past. Although the people in it have always been capable of evil. So why would he have to be any different?

He awkwardly dodged out of the way of a girl carrying a large bag and almost slipped. He caught his balance by putting a hand out to the wall. He breathed a sigh of relief, falling would have made him the laughing stock of the day.

Leo~

I watched as the bullies ran from the library the leader quivering. I frowned he never quivered. I watched as a chubby boy stumbled to his legs he avoided eye contact with the other boy who had stood up for him practically running from the library. The other boy smoothed a hand through his hair sighing he dug his hands into his pockets. He began to walk away a small smile over his lip.
Placing the book I had been reading back into the shelf I skipped out of the library doors my heart racing. I could see rich students leanging against the walls talking loudly. Most of the wore gold around their necks trying to show off the amount of money they have access to.
Rolling my eyes I saw a girl pick up a solid golden cross around her neck and place the tip in her mouth trying to show it off. She watched me as I walked past her, my cheeks going red as I felt more eyes borring in to my back.
I always hid my cat tail and ears it was easier that way for me, it was because of them I had no family. I heard the bell ring in the distance, my accurate hearing was muffled because of the cotton that hid them. Walking up the stairs I sighed, today didn't look like a very eventful day at all.
