Newbie said hi

I am only 14 so I am not as good as some of you but i would love to learn some more about ways to write. I write things that come off the top of my head at the moment but I'm told i am very good at it. I am open to new ideas and learning so if you think i need to improve then i don't mind if you tell me.

There's people on here who are under 14 and they're writing is awesome, so don't be so hard on yourself Besides, you're writing will improve the more you write. I know mine certainly has.

What are some of your favourite books and authors? What's your favourite animal?

If you start feeling lost or confused, there are many people who will answer your questions. There are even forums for you to post in if you have a question or two. And don't forget to make plenty of friends

I would love to learn some more about ways to write. Great attitude! If you want a review, then we've got a lot of people ready and willing to take a look. You'll get a knowledgeable, friendly review.

The first piece of advice I can think of is something I tell myself all the time. Don't worry about how good you are! In the end, it's not your skill or how you compare to others. It's your story that counts. As long as you have that front and center, you're going to have fun writing.

"Age is but a number." A number is all. Young or old, old or young, anyone can write. It's the writer--not the tools, the age, the schooling. It's the writer.
I can see by your username--just a guess--you're a Twilight fan, and Team Jacob at that? How cool! It is a rather popular series, and in the words of JabberHut, "Every conversation leads to Twilight." Really, it does. *nods*
