Note: I'm skipping chapter 2 because it got hard to write!

Teddy was negotiating a peace treaty with the head toy. "Gee, this is tough," said Teddy. "Must we give you a crystal?"

"Yes," the head toy replied. "Grubby ate my shoes."

"Grubby!" Teddy exclaimed. "Thanks to you, my bargaining position is absolutely ruined!"

But before Grubby could reply, a deep booming voice was heard in the distance. Teddy, Grubby, and all the toys turned to look.

"Oh noes!" Grubby yelled. "Pat Buchanan!"
