Fire Raptor awoke with a start, his alarm clock was blaring with its police car sound effect. He pressed down on it to shut it off. The clock shattered into a dozen plastic parts and sparks flew.

"Oh, great," Raptor said, "Another clock that I broke. My mom won't be happy about that." He threw himself out of bed and in one bound was at his drawer. He yanked open two drawers and quickly changed out of his red pajamas.

He looked at himself in the mirror. He shrugged. "Yeah, well it's just me. I have no idea how girls can stare at themselves in the mirror for hours on end."

He grabbed his school bag and walked over to the stair rail. He stopped at the edge and looked down. "Hm," he said. He jumped over the railing and landed with a soft thud on the ground floor.

"I saw that!" his brother Hawkeye called.

"You nosy you!" Raptor said walking to the kitchen for his breakfast. He inhaled the aroma of anaconda.

Clarice

Oh, how she hated those days in which she had nothing to do and all those visions came right to her head. She had gotten more used to them over the past few years but it still felt uncomfortable sometimes. Clarice was more in control now, the visions were handled by her and they didn't cause her to go nuts and cut herself. although that was something she did whether or not the visions came.
But today she was mostly bored of living her boring life, so she got up from where she was sitting and walked to her bedroom. Yes, it was indeed a mess, her room was always a mess. Well, it reflected how she was in her personal life.

Beep! Beep Beep!

Eyes stuck together with muck and his mouth tasting of something dead, Deus rolled around on his bed and moaned loudly as the alarm blared into his left ear. Swinging a lazy, or possibly drunk, arm up and around he slapped the snooze button. With a groan of relief he pulled the blanket over his head.

3 hours later . . .

While blinking slowly and stretching his arms and legs Deus yawned. He sighed a little and then sluggishly pulled himself out of bed. Mondays. He hated Mondays. They were a horrible way to spend one seventh of his life. Another yawn escaped his mouth and Deus raised a hand up to cover it. Deus's eyes only just glanced at the time on his wrist watch.

He rolled his shoulder which greeted him with a few cracks and then was about to check his emails on the laptop by his desk when he froze mid-step. Almost in slow motion Deus raised his hand and to look at the time again.

10:45am.

He blinked.

And then screamed, "The TEACHER'S GOING TO KILL ME!"

Slapping on some random items on clothing, slamming on his backpack and shoving his feet into comfortable sand-shoes he ran like hell. He arrived at school, a panting and sweating mess, just in time to hear the bell go for first lunch. Deus, exhausted, dragged his feet as he walked into the school hallway.

He rolled his eyes at himself, A genius and I can't evil get up at the right time in the morning. He sighed. How was he ever going to make his father proud by sleeping-in in the morning?

Deus moaned as he signed in and walked to the library, it wasn't like anyone ate lunch with him anyway. He paused . . . he hadn't even had breakfast yet. Maybe he could go out and get something?

He shrugged. It didn't matter anyway, lunch was 30 mins long and fast food stores were just across the road. Suddenly brightened by the prospect of food he smiled. At least things weren't going so bad . . . . or were they?

Oh woe is me! I was killed before my time in a car accident! Oh woe! WOOOOOOOE!

Abby swung the antique sword from Japan without even glancing at it. Ghosts were so annoying. As well as driving her mental, she looked insanely dangerous when she swung a katana in the air.

"Bye Mom! Bye Dad!" she called, tapping the holy water and can of salt for luck.

"Bye honey! May the Flying Spaghetti Monster keep you safe!"

She rolled her eyes. Pastafarians. What weirdos. Oh look, a ghost.

The street was full of them. It was like running a stick through water, except the water was upright and moaning all the time, and the stick was made of the best steel and had belonged to a samurai four hundred years ago. It was awesome.
Well, the screaming wasn't; ghosts did that shriek when they were expelled, but, hey, she trained herself out of caring. She was gettin' better everyday.

Sadlis

Despite the stubborn refusal of the hangover to leave him alone - even for just five minutes, as it normally should - Sadlis went about his morning routine with the same merriment as he managed every day. Life on earth was so much easier than back in the main parts of the universe. It was quiet, there was so much less hustle and bustle each day. Even so, there was still so much care he had to take every morning before going to school. This was, of course, his latest hobby. Going through the motions of a completely normal human teenager.

Pulling various things out of his fridge, he made himself a nice, healthy breakfast. He flicked his attention from the morning news, giving him an idea of what was going on in the world, to a smaller screen beside him on the table. This displayed what little he could obtain of intergalactic news. And that was very little. Earth was effectively a backwater, there were few planets anywhere nearby that broadcast the important things.

Finishing his breakfast, Sadlis wandered outside and looked at the trailer he lived in, smiling. It was such a quaint little thing, much nicer (in his eyes), than the monstrosities humans seemed to prefer. This reminded him more of home. With that thought, he slid into the car parked beside it, a conspicuously normal machine that he desperately hoped no one from back home would ever notice. And then, it was off to school.

Ever- human

She was twirling around with the guy of her dreams! Fianlly! He swept her into a graceful waltz. Twirling her around the ballroom, the other dancers moving out of their way with grace. "Ever..."

It was just a whisper, but it made her shiver none the less. "Yes?" She looked into his eyes, his dirty blond hair falling into his eyes.

He smiled, "Will you-"

Beep! Beep! Beep!

"Oh," Ever turned over in her bed, and slapped the alarm clock on the side table. She had had the same dream for the past five nights, the same guy the same setting, but it always lasted longer than the last, but not long enough. "Will it ever end?"

-------

Ever pulled into one of the last parking spots in the parking lot. She was late as usual, but Mrs. Fowler wouldn't care, Ever had already surpassed the expectations of the course.

She walked into the classroom and went to her chair. Mrs. Fowler was already lecturing about the chapter that had been homework.

Ever laid her head down on the desk and closed her eyes.

Vera~

Vera was quite, how do you say, lost. She looked about quite confused for the courtyard in front of the school had everyone roaming about but not aiming at anything.

The mornings in my time seem so much faster! She thought to herself, she was excited for nothing in particular at all! Maybe her current events class that would be her history class, maybe her outdated econ course and then she got to study the art of the age! She smiled wide stupidly as she sat down next to a sleeping girl with her head on the desk.

Vera poked the girl and whispered, "Is that the new trend?"

She was referring of course to the "trends" of the time or that is what she thought they called them, where the masses attempted to show difference only by looking alike more.

"What are you talking about?" The girl asked confused.

"Oh I forgot the greeting!" Vera whispered to herself and the girl was close to the desk again with her head, "Yo! What is up dog?"

She felt so retro.

*i'm super sorry if it wasn't clear...Vera was talking to Ever

Nadia

Nadia skidded to a stop between two trashed up cars, already ten minutes late, she took her time to get to class. Kicking her locker shut she strolled into class non-nonchalantly as Mrs. Fowler shot her a dirty look. Nadia grinned widely and dropped into her seat.

"This is the third time you've been late, Ms. Rider." she said, coolly.

"Well, my scooter wouldn't start up this morning." Nadia responded, a mocked exasperation on her face.

Mrs. Fowler shook her head and returned to her lecture, Nadia pulled out her notebook and pulled out a fresh sheet. She looked around and focused on an excited new face beside her and a girl she recalled was named Ever, beginning to etch out the soft features.

Clarice
Off to school, the everyday doom of her teenage years. School, nor classmates had been nice to her so why on earth would she want to go? Easy, her parents woke her up every morning just to make her go to that hell. Clarice didn't socialize, nor cared to much about it.So she grabbed her backpack and took the bus.
In no time, or actually in no time that she cared about too much, she was at school. One thing she never missed, was attendance, for some strange reason she was always at school. And it seemed as a good day to go to school for ever since she went to her classroom she noticed the strange new girl that was there.
"Hey" Clarice said softly as she took her seat next to Ever.

"Hey" The girl answered, looking at Clarice in a weird way.

Raptor had just finished his breakfast and was out the front door. The streets were empty and si8lent. Perfect time to run to school without too many obstacles. Raptor stretched out his limbs, and then he sprinted out from his porch and ran in the middle of the street for school.

The air felt good on his face. His backpack buckled behind him. The straps were made of a strong material, otherwise they would have snapped under the extreme strain that his dashing put on them. A cat ran in front of his path, Raptor lept into the air, hurdling over the black cat.

"Are you bad luck?!" Raptor called back to the cat. "Whoa!" Raptor said dodging out of the way of a school bus.

"Raptor!" kids inside screamed. "We love you!" both genders of kids said that, the bus driver was included.

Ever

Ever couldn't believe what this girl was saying. "Um... are you okay?"

The girl looked confused, the look of accomplishment swiped form her face, "Yes, why?"

Ever smiled, "Because we haven't spoken like that for some time now. Oh, wait are you an exchange student or something?"

Ever saw Nadia walk be her and sit down, a few seconds later Clarice sat down besdie her.

Nadia

Class dragged on, and Nadia filled up her page. The new girl's face in the corner, Ever's face in the other. Mrs. Fowler's calm face etched out as well in a twisting curls of flower petals and a blowing dress. Nadia sighed, feeling a twinge of loneliness when, as usual, no one made an effort to talk to her. She returned her attention to her doodle, this time roughly drawing out the excruciatingly slow moving clock hands, with one ear vaguely hearing what Mrs. Fowler was saying.

Satisfied with his meal Smokey ran back to his master. He sliced through the foliage like a knife through butter. He was immune to all pain and did not feel the thorns on bushes prick his flesh.

If he was late his master would not be happy. It was a treat top be let out to hunt. Oh, but how he desired to taste human flesh again. Every once and a while his master would give him a human prisoner to devour. To Smokey the tougher the human the better they taste.

The clouds overhead were blackening and threatening rain. Smokey loved the rain. But he wouldn't be a fool like his masters other accomplice the Hunter. That hood wearing maniac loved to test the masters patience. Now he was dead.

Smokey would never dare get on the Masters bad side. But, he could easily kill the Master. How he knew this. Although, the master did have access to some impressive technology. The automatic pistol with the exploding rounds was among them. He had seen the Master kill a bear with a single shot using it.

Clarice
Yeah, strange girl but interesting too. It seemed as if she was lost in some other time in the past and didn't evolve with the time. But she couldn't judge maybe getting to meet her would be better.
"Hey, I'm Clarice" She said smiling at the new girl.

The girl looked at her with a confused expression. Now that was beginning to annoy Clarice. What was wrong with her?

"I'm Vera" The girl said sitting next to her.

Vera~~

The class went on but Vera kept whispering to the girl with one ear on the teacher and the other on this girl Ever. She was quite confused why she did not reply with a "what is up or was hannin?" Her head tilted to the side listening to this very interesting girl, for real she was talking to a real relic. The bell in the cealing signaled and strangely the others responded by moving to their next class.

"Where are you going?" She asked the other girl.

"To class?" She answered with a question.

Suddenly Vera bumped into another girl walking out the door, sending a paper floating to the the ground.

"Did you sketch me with your lead filled device?" Vera asked, an amused smile erupted and Ever rolled her eyes.
