From now on, the Young Writers Society will no longer enforce the review ratio. If you see a topic where it says the review ratio is in effect, please PM me with the link.
However, it is still a very good guideline to review at least a few works for every work you post. Otherwise, you're not going to get many (if any) reviews. While YWSers will gladly review any new member's work even when that new member has yet to review, YWSers are loath to review someone who has posted much but reviewed little.
Additionally, no one is able to post more than two literary works every 48 hours. This is hard-coded into the site, meaning there is no way around it. If you try to post more than two, you will get an error message, which will give you the exact time of when you may post again.
