Desperately Uninspired

Hey guys, I know that we have other topics about writers' block but I feel this is a bit different. See, my living situation is a bit strained and I've been finding it hard to write. If I sit down and focus, I can actually write but I don't feel as if its any good and it doesn't have the same feel as the rest of my novella. Does anyone have any tips? I can't write because I'm nervous and I'm nervous because I can't write (writing is my only source of relaxation, by the way). So, I'm very uninspired and I need help!

For me, I feel like I write my best in the morning or at night when everything is quiet and no one is around saying 'Carly, get off the computer!' :) Also, I can't write if I force myself. I can't sit down and be like, 'okay, I'm going to write 2000 words right now, ready, set, go.' That just doesn't work for me. I have to wait for little plot bunnies to come and give me some form of inspiration.
If your really stressed out at home, maybe try writing somewhere else. School, a library, a friends house, the park. Anywhere where you feel more peaceful and relaxed. Or maybe try writing early in the morning or late at night when your family isn't awake and stressing you out. I know this doesn't work to well on school nights, but on weekends it does :)
Finally, just try to calm yourself a little. :) You said writing is your only form of relaxation. Well it can't do that great of a job if it stresses you out because you have writer's block. Try to find some other ways to relax. Writing can still obviously relax you but maybe have some other things you can do too if it doesn't completely do the job. Read a good book, do yoga, run, exercise, listen to soothing music. Music wise, everyone has different tastes but good jazz always puts me in a good mood. (I can give you some songs/artists if your interested).
Hopefully this helps some!

Thank you so much! I will surely try to find some other means of relaxing, and I'm always open to new music. Who do you recommend?

Bell X1, Bloc Party, The Bravery, Death Cab for Cutie, Enya, Evanescence, Feist, Frou Frou, Imogen Heap, Keane, The Killers, Landon Pigg, Mates of State, Mika, Paramore, and Rooney make me really happy :)
As for jazz, I only really know the stuff I've played in jazz band. My favorites are:
La Fiesta by Chick Corea, Braggin in Brass by Duke Ellington, Riverdance by Bill Whelan, Evelyn, Queen of the Racquet Club by Bob Florence and Ecclusiastics by Charles Mingus

Music is good for inspiration as well as relaxation. ;) When it comes to inspiration, find any artist you like (or a new one you think you might like) and just listen to the lyrics. See what images the song conjures up in your mind. Most of my stories have been inspired by music.

Best of luck getting your muse back! ^^
