What was the best thing you wrote in 2009?

Probably the piece I was most proud of was my NaNoWriMo Novel, "The Stray Flame" which was the first novel I actually started and brough full circle.
But as for my short stories, probably my best would have to be I Think That I'm Falling Again which I wrote for Carly's Flash Fiction Contest, mostly for the fact that I was able to compress a full story into such a small space.

I'd probably say that my two best works were "Greensleeves"

Oh I just remembered I wrote things other than stories and actually finished them! Songs!
I think I wrote some pretty good songs this year. My favorites are 'Your Backyard', 'Undying Hope', 'This Thing Called Love', 'You're mine', 'The Angel's Lullaby', 'Love is Pain', and 'The Night of Angels'.

I didn't write much this last year either, but from what I did write, I'd have to say that Dreams Really Do Come True...Kinda was very fun and I think it turned out rather well, considering it was an on-the-spur story for Spun Yarn.

It's about a girl and her kitty living a life of fairytales. Throughout the story, she reads a portion of a fairytale from her book with the main characters being her and her kitty in place of the real main characters. And it all ties together. It's hard to explain, but it was fun because... well, for the same reason I love Disney. Characters, idea--it's just fun!
