The hardest mountain to climb will have the greatest view. Everything at a different angle: memories serve as double vision, a view from the valleys as well as the precipice. But everything that goes up must come down. The descent from the peak will be twice as graceful & three times as difficult
You are a very talented artist *is gobsmacked*? This is fantastic, well done... I don't even think I can point out any flaws in your drawing but I'll try...
I would say the head of the rose could do with being a little bit bigger as it seems quite small compared to the hands all around it; and I think some general improvements could be made around the rose. However, the hands I cannot fault.
Keep drawing, and PM me if you have any questions or want me to review anything else

Four kinds of people I hate most in life. 1. People who use a preposition to end a sentence with. 2. People who can't count. 3. People who think it's 'clever' to quote ironic phrases.
thank you. Yes, I overthought the rose when I drew it, thus the detail is not as... how do I put this... soft as I wanted it to be. I also happened to be using a blunt pencil! LOL.

WOW! i can't draw hands very well so when i saw these my jaw dropped open in amazement! You've gone well into detail and captured the way the fingers bend, lines and nails!!! A tip for you though, we drawed hands in our art class and my teacher told me to squint my eyes while looking at my hand and look for dark shades and then shade the dark areas onto the picture. in places like the lines and cracks and bends, if you look, they will have a lot darker shading. i see you have slightly done this, but try sharpening it.
well done! keep drawing.

It's that darn scanner again! You should see my prototype, not this thing. The details are waaay better on the actual drawing. Thank you for the criticism.

I think that it is a really good idea, but i am not a fan of that sketchy look. I like solid black lines and full coloring. But if you blacken the lines a little more, you should do much better!

Excellent! So much better hands than what I can draw.
First piece of advice: Resize the picture next time so that we don't have to be scrolling all over the place, wondering whether the sides of the picture got cut off or not.
Next: I think the rose's colors could be darker, clearer, and more defined. That way, it really stands out, although this is titled 'Hands I'.
One last thing--why'd you put four hands in the picture? I was just wondering. Like, I'd probably only put two hands, but here you go, taking it even further!
Great job! I can't wait to see some more work from you! Nice!

@Fruits: answering your question, I put four hands in the picture because I meant for there to be two people involved in the story behind it, thus the title "Romance." the hands are meant to hold the rose and caress it, if that makes sense, almost as if the rose is being admired and given to someone.

Hey there fixed! I was just searching through the old Art&Photography when I came across this GEM of work! What can I say?
Oh my lord! You have to teach me! XD They're amazing! I'm completely hopeless at drawing hands above shading features and the shape and proportions of these are flawless! I'd have to agree that it needs to be resized so we can make the most of your brilliance! Scrolling's plainly annoying Now I've read why you've put 4 hands in the picture makes me love it even more because you're portraying a message through your art and I adore that!
Improvements/"nitpicks" Right, I'd strengthen the lines and be heavier on the shading. If you do this we'll be able to see a more solid, fuller illustration that makes the most of your artistic talent for feature illustration. Also, keep practising colouring, you'll only get better

If that's where it will be seen, do with it what you want.

Wow, this is really good, well done! My only complaint is tha tit is huge and so I can't see the whole thing, maybe you could upload it as an attachment. Other than this it is amazing, I wish I could draw hands so well. Well Done!
