Note: I tried to do this raffle over the summer, and it failed. Now I am starting it up again.

Those who saved spots, remember to please edit your placeholder post rather then starting a new one.

Premise
It's 1985, and all over the world, there is hype about a raffle; a worldwide raffle that seems to good to be true. The grand prize a three-month, summer getaway at a remodeled English Palace. Only ten will win.
Everything seems perfect, like living a dream. Until things start to get suspicious.
As the ten learn a slow and disturbing truth, they must escape...before it's too late.

Character Bio
Name: Dorothy Gardiner
Age: Nineteen
Date of Birth: December 2nd, 1965
Country: United States of America
Appearance: Dorothy is considered quite attractive. She has long, straight dark chocolate hair that goes to her shoulders with side bangs. Her eyes are wide and almond shaped, a pale green colour. She's ivory skinned, about 5'5 and 130 pounds.
Picture (Optional):

Personality: Very anti-social, and a loner. She has no friends, and spends most of her time sketching, reading or watching movies. She is very flat and dull, without hardly any ambition.
Background: She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to a well off family. Her father is a Tough, Vietnam War veteran. She is quite bored with her life, which is supposed to be the "American Dream." She entered the raffle to get away from it all.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant. - Robert McCloskey

John McClane: Drop it. It's the police.
Tony: You won't hurt me.
John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not?
Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen.
John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me

Name: Maxwell(Max) Janile

Age:21

Date of Birth: May 22, 1964. (Um, Elinor I think you got your Date of birth wrong cause Dorothy's date is supposed to be 1966 not 1965. ;) )

Country: USA

Picture: http://sanjuanislander.com/images/colum ... me-man.jpg

Personality: Very eccentric, a genius with the brush. He is an artist. He notices everything and is very perceptive with the eye. He doesn't talk much, well, I mean you can have a chat with him but can never get into a conversation. And when he is painting he hardly talks at all. He doesn't like talking about his feelings but is very caring about other's feelings. Some think he is a charmer and a genius but some think he is weird and a little nut-so.

Background: He's from Maryland. Both his parents died when he was young making him live in foster care until age eighteen. Painting gave him freedom in his childhood. He entered the raffle to paint paintings of the grand estate.

I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.
