Okay, so this is a quick draft of what my book will look like. If you're wondering why it's halkf ice, half sunny, you'll have to read my book :) (Revised chapter coming soon.)

Now keep in mind: This is not the final picture. This is a quick image, with poor editing and pixely graphics. It will be better once I get a better editing software.

Tell me what you think! :D

Glad it's not your final draft, haha. It needs a lot of work as you have pointed out. Does the mountain in the background end 3/4 of the way? If it doesn't, it needs to be longer. This is pretty cool, but at the bottom half is that snow? I think there might need to be things at the bottom half too.

Anyways, I like it. Tell me whenever you get it all edited and such. :)

HI!

Well, for a first edit, it is good. Tell me when you make your final cover. I would love to see it.
I think you should pick a better font for the title. That should be based on you final cover.
The snow at the bottom should be worked on. It seems like the trees on the left start suddenly so I think you should add some sort of continuation or a fence around it.

Keep up the good worK!

Aside from what's been said before, I'd add a little bit more of the snow. Or at least more bare trees on the right side. I didn't actually notice that it was supposed to be icy and cold on that side until I'd looked closer.

Now, this is okay, but I don't really like the font that you used, as it sort of gives an "amateur" look to the whole thing. I'd recommend a standard font OR a fancier, thinner cursive one. The image is blocky and distorted, and I think it would be better if you blurred it a little bit, and added a little more snow.
Otherwise, it's great! PM me if you have any questions.

Keep in mind for your second edit:

First, the land inside the wall is not snowy and looks like summer, second, the outside the wall is darker, like it's dusk, and icy.

I actually like the font you used. I think it would look better in a color, though, to accent the tones in the photo below it.

The photo looks a little to bright, the lighting and colors too garish to seem to fit with the title, which sounds wistful and befitting of a more somber landscape.
It is a very interesting cover page, congrats on your story!

Hey Random,

Kudos on the snow. It's terribly hard to make snow on any photo editing program. :)

The light is exclusive to fall. The trees also have autumn writ all over them, and there's nothing wrong with that, but the whole snow/fall thing is a bit off kelter, and I don't see it working here, dear. I'd try something a little less contrasting, maybe tone down the color of the fall part. :)
