The Inferno

Okay...this is the third storybook i will make and i hope i can pushed it through after two fails

Plot
The story will tell of a bunch of orphans who are failures of an experiments. These orphans are placed inside a mountain because the people who experimented them deemed them as Killing machines due to their abilities. These orphans are located at the bottom of the artifical mountain which consist of a variety of tortures of people who are consist of the "Bastards" of society.
The story will tell on how these orphans will escape the mountain while on the way try to find out who they are.

Setting

Basically, these are the places within the mountain:

The Boneyard(5th level): located at the bottom of the mountain that consist of the bones and skeletons of the dead that stretched from horizon to horizon.

The Terrace of the Cliff(4th level): A place that consist of two cliff in each side. At the centre is a river covered with corpses. As well what connects these cliffs are narrow ledges anbd in each cliff lies various opening that leads to the 3rd level.

Cavern (3rd level): a large cave filled with stalagtites and stalagmites. There is a long bridge that moves over the ground towards a door at the end. At teh ground is a miniature desert coupled with a large pool underneath the bridge.

The harrowing (2nd Level): A place filled with various golden statues. AT the end is a large hill with a large pit before it were a purple smoke rises from it. At the top of the hill is a large mudpool.

Decanto: a place filled with waterfalls. At the centre of this place are abandoned buildings arranged in circular formation that surrounds a geyser that leads to a large hole at the mountain's top.


Rules
If you don't follow them, your character will be killed off or be tortured

Name:Kayla

Age:17

Gender:Female

appearance:She has a Taylor Swift type of hair except the curls are much thinner and her hair is a dark brown. Her eyes is enchanting, if not disturbing. They're the color of when the bananas are a light green, with yellow triangles circling the pupil. Her skin is without blemish it has a natural glow to it. She stands 5'8". Her teeth are a dazzling white, which most movie stars can't claim. Do the people there give us uniforms? If they didn't she would wear a black leather jacket, white long-sleeve shirt, faded blue jeans, and purple All Stars.

Personality:She hates people. She likes being alone. She's a silent type. She likes to study people from afar. She hates emotions and uses sarcasm as her base. If you actually get to know her she'll warm up to you a bit and talk some. When she gets angry or annoyed she likes to release her anger or annoyment on things rather than the person. But whatever you do don't touch her hair!

Weakness: The back of her ankles. Because all the injection they used on her were inserted in her ankles. If she gets hit in the ankle it causes excruciating pain and she weakens.

Power(s): Super strength. She can lift practically anything, except for (well) buildings and stuff like that. The heaviest thing she can lift is a jumbo jet. She can hold her breath for one hour and a half; due to some experiments. Which allows her to stay underwater.

Other:She has an extraordinary obsession with motorcycles and steel since the bones in her legs are made of non-rusting steel. I added something if that's alright She loves to dance. A few of the dances she's good at are bellydancing, salsa, and hiphop. But she will only dance when she is TOTALLY ALONE. Up for love? Maybe, depends.

Manticores: these creatures deemed as steel beast consist of a hybrid head of a lion and man, a man, a red skin his front legs are that of a human while the back legs are that of beasts. It has a scorpion tail and it stands as tall as a man. They have three rows of teeth and are able to shoot daggers from its tails. They guard the Mountain from anyone who tries to escape.

Innocent: Teenagers who governs the Mountain. They control both Manticores and Mannequins. These children seek those who are lost and put them on their desired torture. If these people rebel, they call the Manticore. They are the children of the people who are tortured and they watch over them. They are also trained to use a variety of guns.

Mannequin: a newly formed creature.. It has a head of a doll. Hands of crabs and legs of an eagle. By its mouth is a large whipped and over their head are two chopped hands. By their torso is a baby face. They live mostly in Decanto and are responsible on the tortures of the mountain.

Long Legs: They usually inhabit the Cavern. These creatures are over 6o feet in height. They have shell like bodies that carries a large eye. They are able to summon miniature creatures of themselves from their shells and their legs are covered with spikes.

Name: Malcolm "Mo" Lemnery

Age: 17

Appearance: Tall, thin, slouches and blushes almost all the time, not tan, but not pale, shaggy black hair he hardly ever brushes, blue eyes, pointed teeth (in braces), and he usually wears black jeans and a T-Shirt

Personality: Mo is really shy, but also super sweet. He talks really quietly, and he has a great sense of humor he almost never shares. He doesn't look people in the eyes unless he hates them or feels they are threatening him or his friends. He isn't very open, but once you get to know him he is THE best friend. Comforting, trustworthy, funny, caring, sensitive, smart, he listens and is all around a great hugger.

Weaknesses: Goes totally crazy sometimes, because of the three different forms of DNA clashing around inside of him (human, bird, and shark)

Powers: Super seeing/smelling, flies, can make any one fear him just by looking into their eyes, is stronger than normal, and a jaw that can unhinge or lock shut

Other: Up for love. Can get quite bloodthirsty.

Name: Adam Sinclair

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: On the shorter side, with pale skin and an all around sickly look. He is unnaturally thin, with bags under his bloodshot amber eyes, and his face seems to be slightly bruised below that. He has jet black, lank hair that hangs around his face. He generally wears warm clothes, not matter the weather, and is rarely seen without a heavy jacket and scarf on. His scarf covers most of his face, as he doesn't like people seeing how sick he is.

Personality: Adam is quiet, not just by nature, but also because of his 'condition'. He fears getting near other people, because he is unsure of whether he is contagious. He's something of a hypochondriac, but with good reason to be one. However, underneath all this, he is a fairly kind-hearted person, and doesn't like seeing other people in trouble. He can also become fairly desperate in seeking cures for his illness, and is convinced that the Innocents have some way.

Weakness: He has several chronic, seemingly incurable illnesses. Among these are a number of hypersensitivities (he'll have an allergic reaction to just about anything) and autoimmunity, whereby his own immune system is slowly destroying his body.

Power(s): He can manipulate shadows. This includes bending them to provide a kind of obscuring cloud, or solidifying them enough to use them to attack.

Other: Up for love. Not actually contagious, though he believes it. Triggering his powers seems to intensify his illness for short periods of time.

Personality: Smart, defiant, personable. He knows how to talk to people but he also knows when to keep his mouth shut when he needs to. He can be very stubborn and he's a very passionate person.


weakness: Sometimes when he reads peoples mind, he can't get out of their head. The person has to be killed for him to escape and if he's in there for too long he can go insane.


Power(s): He can read peoples mind

Name: Molly

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: 5'6 with shoulder length brown hair. Really bright blue eyes and a splatter of freckles across her nose. She would normally wear dark jeans, and a blue shirt and a black jacket.

Personality: Very strong willed. She has been through a lot and she is tired of being weak. She is very brave, and is willing to do anything to get out. She is confident, almost too confident.

Weakness: Her power is her weakness. Every time she uses it, her energy drains. Also, she can't swim.

Powers: She can control minds and can make herself blend in with her environment (sort of like turning invisible). Molly is an expert fighter.

Other: Totally up for love.

Name: Allyson Hawkins


Age: 17


Gender: Female


Appearance: She has crazy copper curls that give her an interesting, unique look. Her eyes are a darker hazel, and can be green or brown depending on the light. She's pretty short, only 5'3 and is real curvy (but in a nice way).


Personality: Not many people actually "get" Allyson. She has a pretty wacky sense of humour that others dismiss, but she finds hilarious. Ally can sometimes be really sarcastic, which occasionally hurts people unintentionally. She's very stubborn, headstrong and will always go her own way if she thinks that it's best.

weakness: If she flies too high then she'll faint and most likely crash to the ground. Going invisible really tires her out, and therefore it's impossible for her to fight while invisible unless it's for a short period of time.

Power(s): Flight and invisibility

Other: Is definitely up for friendship/love.

hi guys...sorry if i have not posted yet...i am preparing for exams...

anyway...i posted the DTP if anyone you wanted to discuss how we can start this but now that there are people...i will post the tortures...

Primitives: they mostly filled the Boneyard. These people are like beast. they have no values and do whatever they want base on instinct. They also do not feel pain and can walk even there is a large wound on their bodies. They are also cannibals.

2nd level

The CLothed: People at the second level. These people have their bodies covered in large robes and hoods. By their wrist is a heavy leaded ball and they walked over a narrow bridge to the other side. They continously do this with no rest because the Innocents govern or subdue them.

3rd level

The Hung: People of the third level. They are hung upsidedown by their feet on a stalagtite at the ceiling and are occasionally drop down to a pile of excrement below before being pulled up.

The Scorched: these people lie on the desert by their backs. They are tortured by acid rain that drops down contunously from the cavern ceilings.

The Drowned: These people are suspended underwater at the lake were they breathed through a mask. AS well they are tormented by fishes that bite their sides.

4th level

The Trapped: These people are trapped inside a golden statue in the shape of soldiers and creatures of mythology. They are tortured by slowy being burned alive from a flame at the bottom of the statue.

The Chamber: These people are hung around their waist from the ceiling. they are placed on a pit were their faces are covered. Purple poisonous gases surround them and are burning their skins.

The Massacred: Located at a dome above the pit. It is a miniature swamp were the people here are tied to a post by their necks. They are rabid and act like lions or wolves in anger. When the post are release they kill each other by ripping each other up.

Okay I'm confused. Are the tortures types of tortures that can happen to the characters, or are they creatures?

Personality:Vicious and animalistic when angered. When he is calm he can be warm and friendly.


weakness:When the animalistic side of his power takes hold he becomes a vicious and angry beast of a man.


Power(s): He can morph into a wolf man wioth enormous strength, speed and increased healing rate
