YWS TV on November 15

Hey all,

On November 15, YWS will be having the first episode of YWS TV (online of course!). The show will last an hour, and I'll let everyone know the specific time as we get closer to the date.

I really want to do some cool stuff with YWS TV, and what I'd love to do is have member submitted videos and/or artwork on it.

Since the episode will be celebrating YWS' five years, any video submissions should be about YWS in some way. By the way, the funnier and the more random the video is, the better!

If you feel like doing it or have any questions, let me know here!

That's going to be awesome! And I've had an equally awesome idea for a video, so it would be cool if that went ahead!

Sounds cool, especially if you take it in the right direction. Is there any more info via post that I could read up on? I'd like to learn a little more.

If you plan or want to do a video, it's really completely up to you what to do with it. It could be a commercial for YWS (or better yet, an infomercial), a video project you've done for class, a video of a play, etc. Ideally, it should be no more than two minutes long. And of course, it must be appropriate for all ages.

So basically, it can be anything suitable for all ages?

Any particular video format, resolution, or anything?

We totally are going to do a videoooooo. But I'm not sure on how to mix it with YWS xD That commercial thingy might be taken upon around here... xD I'm so ready to make a fool out of myself. Until when can we submit our videos and how?

Do we have to make a video specifically for YWS anniversary? Or can it be an old video somehow related to literature? xD In 9th grade my friends and I did a really... interesting remake of the fight scene in Romeo and Juliet which I can probably send in for YWS TV ^^

There's been a lot of people wondering about what the subject matter of the video should be. So to clarify, it should ideally be about YWS (like a commercial for YWS). However, it can still be about anything. In the end, quality is what really matters.

Me and writewatiwant are already praparing a video to send!

Good question! The best way is to simply upload it to Youtube and then provide me the link. If you don't want to do that, you can try e-mailing it to me at yws.webmaster@gmail.com.
