Ali:

I laughed and ran out of the control room. Slipping off the gloves I had been smart enough to have been wearing, I formed my best expression of confusion on my face.

"What's going on?" I shouted to smooth-faced Robert.

"The lab rats, they're free." he replied, his voice shaky.

I turned around and ran to get my lab coat. A gleeful smile on my lips, I slipped into the Cell room, where all the children were kept. I saw a young man and woman crawling out of their cells, shouting something to one another over the blaring sirens. They turned to run but stopped dead when they saw me. I shook my head quickly and beckoned them to the rear exit. Kicking the rusty door open, I smiled to them and motioned to it.

"It leads to the storage warehouse." I said as one of them past by me cautiously. "You'll be safe there, I'll stall for you to get out of here."

They smiled cautiously and sprinted away. The pure darkness of the black out would mean I wouldn't be on tape, but what would my alibi be, how could I have let them get away. Grimacing to myself I picked up a metal bar. I would regret going to such extents later, and I stopped the boy shoving the bar into his hands.

"Hit me with this. If I'm found unconscious I can help you guys longer from in here, which is much more useful."

The boy looked at me with wide eyes, and I simply nodded. Taking a breath he swung the bar at my head.

*Sorry, for the short post, guys. I kind of got really busy really fast.*

Timothy- Physical... awesomeness

One. Two. Three. Again. One. Two. Three. Tim was moving, as always, as fast as he could around the laughably small perimeter of his 'room'. He jumped over the sink, executed a back handspring onto his bed, and then placed his feet flat against the wall, where he 'walked' for as long as gravity allowed. Three steps. Three measly steps. A moment of freedom, and then he was pulled down to solid earth. It wouldn't have mattered anyway; the wall ended there. He continued for several mock laps before he gave up with a sob. He always did.

Timothy chucked himself onto the bed and buried his tear-streaked face in the crook of his elbow. This is it, he thought. This is all there is for me. Barely enough food to stop my stomach from growling, a scratchy bed, and a cold floor that seeps the life out of my already lifeless room. He knew that there was no hope of salvation; he had been reminded many times by the whispering presence of his cell. He had given up, yet always seemed to despair often. This was it.

The lights went out.

Timothy stopped crying.

The door hissed open.

Another person would have stood up slowly, as if in a dream. They would shuffle in a haze towards the source of their freedom. They would rejoice at the answer to their pleading cries.

But Timothy was not other people.

He leapt up from his bed and sped-- an easy jog for him-- out the door. He was free. The door was open, and he was free. He silently vowed to never let them catch him again, not if he had to run and run 'til his feet bled and his heart stopped. Nothing would stop him.

But Timothy wasn't-- couldn't be-- prepared for the sight that awaited him beyond the doorway.

They were of a similar height to him, and looked as equally joyous at the circumstances they were in.

Robert, scientist

The cell block looked more like a cage-lined animal shelter than any sort of facility made for humans. Robert frowned slightly. He didn't like coming in here. He thought that he might be able to change it if he started climbing the corporate ladder, became more influential. For now, though, there really wasn't much he could do.

He ran a hand through his hair. "Don't bother. They're all gone."

The head of the guard blinked at him. "Where'd they go?"

"Warehouse." He nodded tersely towards the rusty door, hanging behind as they made their way to the warehouse.

He pulled out the small stun-gun issued to each of the scientists and began checking each of the cells, just in case. He saw a dim shape on the ground ahead of him. Squinting, he realized it was another scientist.

He checked her pulse; she was still alive.

decided to go ahead and make Christina's twin, but he is different from in the last storybook in case sylverdawn decides to come back.

Name: Seth Bates

Age: 17

Personality: much more reserved than his sister and has a more stable emotional state. Very intelligent and thinks things over a lot. A look-before-you-leap kind of guy.

Picture: http://media.photobucket.com/image/blon ... de-boy.jpg

Powers (Two at most): Can read minds, rumor has it there were plans to experiment on him further but they weren't acted upon before the break out. It seems though that some of the researchers are rather keen to get him back.

Weakness: extremely clausterphobic and has some social anxiety. Really only talks to Christina.

Other: Up for love (if you can get through to him), has a twin sister

Seth and Christina

The cells opened wide and Christina stepped out into the madness. Other people like Christina were running around and yelling things about "escape". She had known they were there, but had only seen them a few times.

"Seth?" she called into the cell across the hall from her own. "Seth, it's our chance."

Seth emerged from his darkened cell and moved close to Christina. "Are you sure about this?" he whispered.

Christina grabbed his hand and started pulling him towards where other "lab rats" were running to. "What have we got to lose?"

Seth sighed and went with his sister. He could think of plenty things he had to lose, most importantly Christina.

whoa, sorry guys, have been busy but here's my profile now.

Name: Kriszta McLane

Age:18

Personality: She's very serious, hardly ever found making a jmoke. Socializing is not an easy thing for her. She's not rude, but it doesn't mean she is not tough; if she has to fight, she fights, if she ahs to get dirty, she gets dirty. She is a really good friend and usually keeps secrets to most of them, which annoys her.

Picture: She has tan skin and wavy chocolate brown hair. She has green eyes.

Spoiler
Image

Powers (Two at most): mind reading and hypnotizing, not in the circus way but in the mind controlling way.

Weakness: She's too trusty and inocent.

Other: (history will be told throughout the story.)
Up for love.

KITTY$$

I poked my head just an inch past the bars, and, seeing no one, I ran out, laughing just to feel it in my throat. I see an open door, some people ( they didn't look like those damn scientits ) and followed them out. And then we were all laughing and running towards a rusty building a while away. And suddenly I was happy. I'd never felt it before. A happy, light , free feeling that me want to laugh and cry and punch and hug all at once. It was like a wild animal breaking free from it's sleeping place in my soul. I stopped the first boy I saw next to me, not caring who he was or what he was, and I threw my arms around him, laughing. I kissed him on the lips, not looking at his face, just seeing the timid happiness sparkling his eyes. I laughed again and ran past him towards the building we all seemed to be heading to.

((YUS! I is sneaking in a last post *nods*))

Java - Flight and Invisibility

Java had seen the warehouse on his many trips in and out if his cell. It was where he and Lyanna had planned to take everyone. And now it was really happening.
At the thought of Lyanna he smiled softly to himself. She was beside him right now, a living person who wasn't going to hurt him.
Java stole a quick, sideways glance at her; she was better than he'd even imagined. She peeked up at him and he half laughed, half coughed with embarrasment.

Focusing on the challenge ahead, he turned to face the motley group of people who were surrounding them.
"Guys, guys! We're going to the warehouse, ok? It's going to be tough, but I, for one, don't care as long as it means getting out of the hell-hole."
This drew a raggedy cheer from the crowd, and they all began to move forwards with more vigour. Java nodded to himself, if they were going to escape they needed to do it quickly. He could hear faint sounds of people marching behind them.

He ran to the doors quickly, and with the help of a few others they managed to drag them open. A dark, musty small wafted towards him and Java had to stop himself choking on it. He was only used to the sterile smells of the experiment room or the mangy smell his cell sometimes had.
"Come on, everyone! Inside, quick."
As everyone began to surge forward, he grinned at Lyanna, suddenly feeling happier then it was possible to imagine. He felt like he could take over the world if he just harnessed this wonderful feeling.
"Java?" Lyanna looked slightly puzzled, and a lot smaller.
Java looked down and grimaced as he realised that he was floating off the ground. He let himself down and coughed again.
"Right. Yeah. Let's just go inside."
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

-Spock.

Oops, I forgot Kitty's blind. Ok, because I'm not feeling the whole blind thing, can I change just a few things? Like, instead of having her powers all the time and being blind all the time, sometimes her abilities to see and feel just turn off, and her abilities to hear and smell are turned up. Also, she's curvaceous, because that's just how I see her. Oh, and she can't control when her power thing happens.

Is that ok?

Ever

When the doors opened, she finally felt her powers returning to her. She was on the top level of security, because of her influence that she frequently used on the guards. She also could finally jump again, she did it to the other side of her cell just to feel the rush again. She laughed, she had not jumped for the past 6 months and she had started to feel incomplete.

She heard voices outside of her cell and noticed a group leaving, she caught up with them and got a spot in the back, trying not to bring much notice to herself. The time for her to reveal herself was not now.

When they hurried into a cell, she could hear two people talking towards the front, she pushed her way to them, just barely getting to them. "Why don't you let me go in first? I can jump to the warehouse, check it out, and tell you if the coast is clear."

They both looked at her with questioning looks. "Who are you?" The girl asked.

"Oh, sorry. I'm Ever," She had completely forgotten that the others did not know her.

They both nodded, the guy spoke first. "Well, Ever, I'm Java, and this is Lyanna. Are you sure you can-jump was it?"

"Yes, I can jump to the warehouse from right here, it's only the first part of my powers," She smirked, they would soon know the rest of her powers soon.

"Okay, you can go ahead, but be careful," Java replied.

"Don't worry, they'll never know what hit them if they find me."

*Just so you know, I think I need to make Tim a little more agressive, otherwise his abilities and his personality wouldn't match. So forget about him being shy and all that. :) )

Timothy- Speed, flexibility

People like me?

It was so miraculous as to be difficult to even believe. For his entire life, he had been convinced that he was the only one. He lived by himself, apart from the days when the doctors decided to poke and prod him for a while, before he was escorted back to his room for the night. He had seen this hallway many times, and yet there had never been even a hint of the presence of another tortured soul. Yet here they all were, several talking amongst themselves, others looking afraid, and some just standing there, looking dumbfounded. With a jolt, Timothy realized that he fell into that last group.

He gathered himself mentally, and tried to puzzle out what he should be doing to help. He was fast, and strong, but were the others the same? Or was there something else that stood them apart? He had no way of knowing.

He resolved that the first thing he could do was find out. He scoped the hallway for someone easy-looking, and spotted a pretty girl with smiling eyes and a wide grin on her face. He walked towards her, puzzling out what to say. She was walking towards him too, now, and she let out a laugh that made him want to join in. He stopped several feet away, but she kept coming on.

Timothy opened his mouth to speak, and received the shock of his life when the girl planted her lips on his. What the hell? he thought, and tried to push away. That only made her press harder. She was still laughing, and he was kissing her! He was kissing her! He was kissing her!

I think I like this girl, he thought. Or my lips do, anyway. And just like that, she was gone, giggling away as she joined the group clustered around a rusty double-door, which was now open, it seemed, after some heavy pushing and pulling. I could have done that for them.

Tim walked over to join them. He stayed towards the back, listening to what was going on. Apparently, they were waiting for someone to come back from-- the warehouse they said. If the coast was clear, they would all follow. All of this was said by a pair--a boy several years older than Tim, and a girl who was practically his shadow-- who seemed to be taking over their little escapade. No one seemed to mind this, but to Tim it just didn't make sense. As far as I know, they all have some kind of miraculous ability that got them locked in a cell since infancy, so why are we all standing around? What could anyone do to us, now that we have a chance to do what we do best? I, for one, am not going to stand still when I could be running.

With that, he nimbly sidled by a few people, including his lip-locking-friend (who was still smiling), and broke out into a jog that stirred the hair on their faces. The tall boy shouted after him, but all he could do was laugh and run harder. I'm not ditching you, pal. I've only been locked up for fourteen years in a room that practically kept my knees up past my ears for every hour of the day. Just let me stretch my legs!

Lyanna - Telekineses

It felt so good to finally move! I watched the other lab rats talk and laugh, all looking euphoric. I was happy too; I just found it difficult to show it. I just stood there with Java, a small smile playing around my lips. That was the extent of the emotion I was showing. On the inside, it was a different story. Inside I wanted more than anything but to burst into song, or run around, or do anything to show how I felt. I refused to though. After all, someone had to keep their head.

The urge was still there though.

We need to get moving. The scientists could get reinforcements any minute. I hoped that Ever would hurry.

Robert sighed and moved the unconscious scientist to the side of the room. If more people came bumbling through here in the dark, it wouldn't do to have her sitting in the middle of the floor where she could get trampled. In the meantime, he had an escape attempt to stop.

He trotted over to the warehouse door and joined the guards who'd all lined up in front of the door side by side, facing the interior of the room. He could hear the shouts and laughter of the escapees, and for a split second he felt guilty. But there was neither the time nor the room for that here.

He took the megaphone the chief guard had been given and switched it on.

"STAND DOWN. THERE ARE TWENTY ARMED GUARDS HERE READY TO ESCORT YOU BACK TO YOUR CELLS. COOPERATE, AND YOU WILL NOT BE PUNISHED. RESISTANCE WILL ONLY LEAD TO SUFFERING ON YOUR PART. YOU HAVE TWO MINUTES TO TURN YOURSELVES IN."

Lyanna - Telekineses

I nearly jumped out of my skin as a voice rang through the room.

The other lab rats fell silent. I turned towards the door that the voice had come from. Java opened his mouth to speak, but I waved my hand and he stopped. "I'll be right back." I began walking towards the door. People stared at me, shock and fear apparent on their faces. Soon I was ten feet from the door. I looked up. A catwalk was hanging from the ceiling. Along with several crates. I grinned. That's what I need.

I raised my hand towards the largest of the crates and concentrated.

Suddenly the crate I had been concentrating on snapped off of the rope it was hanging from and tumbled towards the ground. I slowed its fall and it landed in front of the door. The guards wouldn't have heard a thing.

I continued doing this to a few more crates. Exhaustion began eating away at me, and I stopped. I turned and walked back through the crowd and took my place next to Java.

I realized that everyone was staring at me.
