John McClane: Drop it. It's the police.
Tony: You won't hurt me.
John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not?
Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen.
John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me

I'm going to throw my scientist back in here. If you start before I post her profile, I'll just put it in the discussion thread.

Name: Christina "Angel" Bates

Age: 17

Personality: Christina is usually very sweet, but has a nasty side to her when she is angry. She is bi-polar so her emotions flip flop a lot, though she is medicated for it. Typically nice, giggly, and free-spirited.

Picture: http://media.photobucket.com/image/ange ... elGirl.jpg (except blonde hair instead of pink)

Powers (Two at most): Has wings that enable flight for short periods of time (see picture) and is also extraordinarily charming. She can get almost anyone to do almost anything as long as she keeps eye contact.

Weakness: extremely claustraphobic and doesn't know how to swim

Other: Up for love, has a twin brother (who I will bring back if sylverdawn doesn't)

I'm waiting for Kamas' profile. I think that maybe she should start, since she's the one saving them.

I'm here! *finished test* :)
Name: Alison 'Ali' Williamson

Age: 22

Personality: Ali is a mysterious girl. She never shares anything about herself to anyone, you're lucky if you know her real name. She doesn't take any attitude from anyone, but deep down she's really tender and sympathetic. She feels a deep sadness towards the 'lab rats' and tries to be kind to them. She isn't very good at planning ahead either.

Picture: Image

Powers: As an unaltered human being, Ali doesn't have any powers. But she's a good fighter/martial artist and markswoman (she keeps a weapon on her at all times, you never know in this risky business), she is also quite intelligent (she's a scientist duh)

Weakness: She has no pity for those who don't need it. But she isn't very resistant when she begins to feel sympathy for someone.

Other: Up for love. She's a confused girl and is iffy on sides.

*I was told to start the storybook! Here we go :)*

Ali:

My hand trembled ever so slightly as I poured a chemical into a beaker. I was making another chemical for the experiments, the 'lab rats' as we called them. The solution fizzed and turned into a deep emerald colour, it contained many dangerous chemicals that would normally kill a person. I sighed and headed over to the counter with all the needles. I wouldn't let this needle touch the children this time, I slide a harmless concoction of the same colour over to the rack that I had slipped out of my pocket.

"Lunch break." I said, slipping off my lab coat.

They won't catch me, they never do. I slipped around the corner, into the empty hallway. I quickly typed up the hacked password to the control room. The man at the desk whirlled around just in time to get a roundhouse kick to the face. He slumped over and fell off the chair. Too easy I smiled to myself, and typed up a few numbers and cut the power. I watched as every screen in front of me went black from darkness, I smiled again. I opened the box that contained the never-before-used Panic button,

"Finally free my little babes." I whispered, pushing hard on the button.

From the screen you could hear the sighing of the metal as the gates to the row of cages flew open.

((Mmm... changing my character to a guy because I feel like it.))

Name: Robert Nunez

Age: 22

Personality: Calm and quiet. Doesn't question what his supervisors tell him to do usually, but there's more to him than meets the eye. Not afraid to take charge if the situation calls for it.

Description: (I suck at finding good pictures)Dark hair and eyes, olive complexion, medium weight and height. Dresses in neutral colors.

Powers (Two at most): None. He's a scientist. However, he's pretty smart and resourceful.

Weakness: For some reason, he has odd nervous spasms. The cause will be brought to light later on.

Robert was just heading down the hall to the break room when an alarm began to sound. He stiffened.

"Security breach, take evasive action," came the cool recorded voice of the security system.

A good number of guards armed with tranquilizer guns made their way into the hall. They looked a little confused.

"Just this way, gentlemen," Robert said, leading the way down the hall. He wasn't one to freak out under pressure, though this was definitely not going to be fun.

(Ok, this might be my only post for a few days - it might not. Would everyone mind just filling in a little for my character?)

Java - Flight and Invisibility

It had been a normal day so far. He'd been poked and prodded at, injected and tested, then sent back to his cell for an hour.
Normal, right.

Java looked around at the cramped space he was in. His legs were curled up painfully against his body to make room for the meagre bowl of food that had been deposited in his cell earlier. His head was resting against a steel wall, dulled from the relentless pounding and thumping Java had bestowed upon it for his entire life.

He knew that this wasn't normal. It couldn't be.

He heard a faint tapping noise to his left, a steady tak, tak, tak that, to him, signified the most important part of his day.
Right up in the corner of his cell was a small, hidden hole. He'd discovered the hole one day when suddenly he could hear a voice coming from the cell next to him. A female voice. It was then that he'd discovered that he wasn't alone. It was then that he began to dream of escape.

He stood up quickly, wincing as his leg began to ache from ages of sitting still.

"Lyanna!" He hissed through the hole, bringing his mouth as close to it as he could. Just as he heard his name be hissed back at him, there was a sudden noise and all the lights went off. A muttered exclamation came from Lyanna's cell, and he was about to ask her what had happened when something magical occured. There was a faint hiss and a rumble, such insignificant noises compared to what was happening, and his door slowly swung open.

He shouted in delight and ran out of the door without a second glance. As long as he was out of the cell he didn't care.

"Lyanna!" he called again, "come on! This is what we've been waiting for!"

**Guys, unlike in the last one, I'm using 1st person this time.**

Lyanna - Telekinesis

I jumped as the door to my cell opened. "Lyanna, come on! This is what we've been waiting for!" That was Java's voice. I darted out of the cell. It felt good to use my legs, though it hurt some. Java was standing in a hallway. He looked almost exactly as I had imagined him. My left arm was pockmarked and aching; my last test had involved many, many needles.

I saw other lab rats emerging from other cells.

"Let's get out of here."

It is most unlikely. But - here comes the big "but" - not impossible.
