Zombie Land

So, I just saw the movie, and I was inspired. I don't want the zombies to be funny, or way sci-fi'ish (i mean they're zombies, but, you know), I want them to be dark man eating monsters. Heres a description of everything you should know about them in the spoiler-

Zombies are people that die, and become infected with a disease, or vice versa. The disease animates the body in the form it was before it died, but with several major changes. The body is dead, and it no longer ages. The body doesn't need to pee, poop, or eat. It doesn't need to breathe, or take in anything at all.

As a result the zombies are slightly faster and stronger than they were in their previous life, and have a single minded desire to eat anything, and everything close by, but they rarely finish their meal.

Zombification is transported from body to body through the switch of bodily fluids. This covers being bitten, to eating something a zombie has taken a bite of, or even having blood mix from a cut or something else.

The only way to kill one is to destroy the brain, by any method necessary.

Plot- Basically to survive from the zombie horde that is sweeping the nation, even the world. The writers will have to come together in order to survive. You will have to gather supplies, travel the world, and of course, learn to overcome your fears.

Characters will start in NYC two weeks after the start of the infection.

Appearance: Dirty blond hair in layers, blue green eyes, thin, tan, athletic

Personality:Is a writer, loves music and is bubbly and energetic

Likes/Dislikes/Habits:Loves to run and is allergic to sea food. Has habit of putting tounge in side of cheek when thinking hard.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Can think quickly, but has to think it through over numerous times

History: Lived with her mom and dad in a religious family. Had seven brothers and sisters, but all that remains with her is her 19 year old sister and 17 year old brother.
Since the others were taking by the zombies.

Name: James Belle

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance: He is about average height and skinny, but in amazing shape. He has short brown hair that is very thick, and due to his unkept nature it sticks up in a wild mess. He has blue eyes and a generally pale complexion. He is extremely dexterous and fast, but not strong.

Personality: He was very 'straight edge' before the infection, so his persona after the nation is quite a contrast. He seems not to care about anything, and goes about his life with reckless abandon. He has a great skill when it comes to shooting and fighting, and he seems to go out of his way to kill zombies. But he still has that quiet side that is ready to come out as soon as he feels safe.

Likes/Dislikes/Habits: He likes sarcasm, and he himself has a dry sense of humor. He likes chocolate, and he has an addiction to hot chocolate. He loves height, and the feeling of wind running through his hair. He dislikes stuck up people, and people who he views have no sense of honor. He has a habit of singing to himself while he travels, or works.

Strengths/Weaknesses: He is a very good shot with a rifle, and he is also good in close quarters combat. He knows parkour (free running). However he is too trusting of other humans, and if one becomes infected he will not kill them. Ill think of more.

History: Was born in the south. He was fairly outcast from society, being one of the "nerds". however upon entering high school with few people from his old school he became more open to people. However, when he went off to college in New york he had no friends, and he retreated into himself. So, when the infection hit, he wasn't connected with anyone, which he thought was a good thing, but as the infection grew worse, he realized how much he would miss humanity.

appearance: long black hair; green eyes; the left siude of her face has a large scar from the eye to her cheek from an accident and she covers this with her long black hair.

personality: she does not trust people and loves to be alone after harsh experiences of bullying with people. Spirit is very creative and can create various weapons. Furthermore, she can be sadistic in order to get her anger out. But, she ahs a love for teddy bears

likes: she likes to create weapons and silence. Spirit has a love with ice cream and teddy bears. She hates to be with a group of people.

Strenght/weakness: he is very good in creating weapons especiially daggers and hand made nail guns. However, she is easily hurt and sensitive and would trail off if anyone seem to hurt her.

history: born within the city from an adventure loving parents. When she was seven, she was accidentally burned from a oil leak on a camp. She did not care for a moment but when she went to high school, she was the centre of teasing for her scars on her face. Slowly, she no longer engage with her adventure life after her school PE refuse her to enter any competitions.

Name: Alice O'Ryan

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: A bit past the shoulders brown hair and a blunt bang cut. Her skin tans easily but becomes pale when she isn't in the sun for a short time. Aice's eyes change with the weather, turning from a muddy brown (with rain) and to a dark green to when it's sunny. When the weather is uncertain her eyes turn into a hazelish mess. She is not skinny but not fat and was commented on for having a french high waist.

Personality: A smiley one, she get excited easily and always wants to "go for it" personaity. Alice has a downside to this easily stimulated happiness, she gets easily hurt and or sad. She has a wide variety of what is funny and what is not. She also gets serious when needed.

Likes/Dislikes/Habits: Alice likes to laugh and have company. She doesn't like self centered people though she can be one herself. She likes to give advice, even if it is a tad heartless (she claims it's the truth). She has the habit of being bipolar and always wanting what she can't have.

Strengths/Weaknesses: She can be a straight shooter if she is focused and into it. Besides that she lets her emotions interfere. She is amazing at hand to hand combat.

History: "When the world wasn't a hell" She calls it. Alice was the daughter of a judge and a retiree of the government, with that she was overly doted on for being "good". She did other things despite her parents warnings and ended up with a twisted sense of good and bad. She grew up in a southern family complete with the sweet tea and large collection of four wheelers. She was about to start college when the infection hit.

Name: Francesca Stone (Frankie)


Age: 17


Gender: Female


Appearance: She is 5'4 (so a little shorter than average). She has short, messy brown hair and bright blue eyes. She isn't thin, but she isn't fat either, just in the middle. She wore braces when she was younger so her teeth are straight.

Personality: Frankie is quite loud, opinionated and funny. She has a very dry sense of humour and will come out with random, sarcastic remarks quite often. She is extremely sensitive and will never take critisicm lightly, prefering to either challenge whomever said it or work at changing whatever they criticised. Frankie is also very stubborn and strongwilled.


Likes/Dislikes/Habits: Likes friends, love, reading, swimming, playing the guitar and singing. Dislikes stupid people, chavs and arguments. Constantly taps her fingers and fidgets.


Strengths/Weaknesses: She's very clever and will be able to work out most problems. She is also quite strong so will be good in a fight. However, she can occasionally loose her nerve and has never used a weapon before.


History: She grew up in a very normal, loving family with her Mum, Dad and two brothers. She wasn't "popular" at school, she was just well liked and respected. Despite this, she didn't have one singular best friend. When the infection hit her whole life fell apart, but some part of her sees it as an amazing adventure. The rest is still screaming.

Personality: Dominating, he generally has to be in charge of everything, or he feels weak. He's also very passionate about everything he does. He has a sense of humor, but you don't see it often, because he's mostly serious about everything.


Likes/Dislikes/Habits: Likes women, books, and killing zombies. Dislikes zombies, warm weather, and not being in charge. Habits are that he wears his mother's old cross and his father's old dog tag and he always showers. He can get dirty, but he doesn't like to stay that way.


Strengths/Weaknesses: He's very good at strategizing and knowing what other people are going to do. He isn't good with being in big social situations.


History: His father and mother were hunters of all things supernatural, so he grew up around it. His mother home schooled him, so he isn't good around other people, but he can handle it if he has to. When he was fifteen, his mother and father died in a car accident, and they left him everything they owned. He dedicated his life to ridding the world of all things un-natural, although he may not be so natural himself. He's also a self proclaimed play boy, but he's never been in love because, in all honesty, he's afraid of it.

Personality: A realist, pessimist, and optimist all in one. He has a weird outlook on life that see the good an bad as one and also as neither at the same time. When he speaks he usually has words of wisdom, or "That's what she said" on his lips. He is a joker most of the time and usually buries that smarter side of himself under humor and idiotic behavior. When he is mad you can tell from a pure silence, or words that seem to burn your outer layer and reveal your true self underneath. He can be very violent, and operate on a line of blurred morals, allowing him to jump on either side and return easily to the mid point. He makes friends with mild discomfort, but they usually stick until he goes on his burning rants. Enemies are easier for him, and easier to take down.
He can be nice though, and use his mind to show the brighter side of anything to anyone. And when they are unsure of their actions, convince them that they did the right thing. When he likes you you will know easily, and when he hates you, you won't always be able to tell.


Likes/Dislikes/Habits: He likes to keep his hands busy, tearing things apart with out even noticing what he is doing (keep valuables away in other words.)He is fidgety and can not stay very still (impatient and slightly claustrophobic). He dart his eyes around to sudden sounds, and hates when he can not figure out where something is coming from (in an observant way, and also a bit crazy caused by his Adhd)

He likes people who do not try and manipulate him, he is okay with doing anything for you if you give him a reason, or just ask. He likes it when people are straight out. Doesn't mind if people tell him he won;t like what they tell him, and if they don;t want to will not bother anymore (unless suspicious of you doing something harmful)

Dislikes, take the opposite of the likes.


Strengths/Weaknesses: He is a good fighter in close range, and can make use of most hand weapons with no knowledge of them. He is good at thinking ahead and figuring out what the next move you make. Ask him to make a battle plan and he will have one in a few minutes max.

He is terrible at long range and with shooting weapons. He drifts off a lot and day dreams, losing attention. He doesn't listen to pain, and will charge ahead causing himself more damage. Makes risky chances in battle.

Gender: female

Appearance:She is very tall and thin, she curvy though and her hair is brunnette. Her skin is tanned and her face is thinm, her features very fine and her eys and light brown.

Personality:She is a happy person, although very quick to anger. She loves friends and is extremely loyal. Her biggest fear is losing her loves ones. She likes spending time with her friends and families. But she hs a wall around herself, she never shows her realself.

History: she is the oldest of four sister or actually was since their sisters were tuned into zombies and their parents were killed by them. she managed to escape and hide for about three months, staling and pickpocketing to survive. Until things began to clear out in her country, she went out of her hiding and looked for her family. NO one was left so she went ot live with her aunt and now hates zombies more than anyone can imagine.

Name: Remy Fauzi

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance: Pale, tall, thin, not athletic, but in good shape, long, dark brown hair (very unruly), grey/blue/green eyes, rosebud mouth and long lashes

personality: Remy is very fun-loving, and she is easily scared, although she doesn't show it very often. She tries to laugh as often as she can, but in these hard times, that isn't very often. She is rather impulsive, and doesn't think things through very often.

likes/dislikes: Remy loves to feel the wind through her hair, whether she's running, bungee jumping, cliff diving, or riding on the back of a motorcycle. She loves music, and rain, and sunshine, and quiet places. She hates feeling scared or threatened. She loves hugs, but not zombie hugs. Those aren't fun.

Strengths/weaknesses: Remy is a great fighter, and can shoot a decently aimed arrow. She gets defensive when threatened, unless she's really scared, in which case she gets upset (obviously). She is impulsive, which could be a strength or a weakness, and she cares almost too much for those close to her (as in she could do stupid things to save them or keep them from getting hurt). Oh, and she can run really fast, but certainly not Olympic fast Also, she is somewhat sensitive when it comes to personal feelings.

History: Remy lived in a small prairie town, where she was The Outcast, so she's used to feeling alone, even though she strongly relies on human contact. Her mother died in labor, and her father was recently killed by zombies. She was, unfortunately, there to witness her father's death,but ran before she could see the end of it, so she doesn't know if he was completely killed, or if he is now a zombie. She was traumatized and has been running from zombies ever since. She is now in Seattle.

Other: Definitely up for love. She needs it, but don't worry, she's not creepy about it XD

ok! looks good, but just as a reminder this is only two weeks after the infection became serious, meening 75% of New York is probably infected. And your character has probably not had time to gather that many new skills, so if you want him to have a certain skill, find some sort of justification, and i'll let you have it, no questions asked. Also, do you think we need a DT?
