Izzy laughed "I ran" she said. "Fast"

She felt confused. For so long she had been alone in the woods. Doing as she pleased and going where she pleased. Now it was no longer hers, other people knew about it too. Other people who would make noise, order her about and stop her from doing what she wanted.

Then again, it might be quite nice to have some company.

Tammy looked over at the shapeshifter again. "And him?" She asked softly.

Izzy shook her head "I don't know. He came after me. I've never seen him before, and I've been in these woods a long time. Then again, I've never seen anyone here before."
She smiled again, "Why don't we go and find out."

Turning abrubtly, she walked over to the group of people standing around the shapeshifter, hearing the girl, Tammy, and the boy follow behind her.
Clearing her throat, she stepped into the middle.
"So, anyone care to tell me who you all are and what you're doing here?"
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

Robin~Campsite
A few eyes flicker to me, so I answer the girl. "I'm guessing that we're doing the same as you. Hiding from the people who believe they can control our lives, but I believe that there is one thing that separates us. We are not going to play their game for much longer." I boldly state.

Her eyebrows rise a little, but they don't seem to be mocking. I repeat the gesture, like an invitation to join our group.

Tamora

Tammy resisted the urge to sigh and walk away. Robin was always making plans to go off somewhere. They agreed on one thing and probably one thing only. Save as many outkasts as possible, still Robin believed that they had a fighting chance against the government. Sure, they would never control Tammy, she would prefer death to that, but it didn't mean she was going to risk her life, as well as everyone else's, to just realize that they weren't strong enough.

Tammy rubbed her temples and sat down. She really did care for the people here. She had knew them for a while now, but sometimes they confused her. She got the fact that they didn't want to be little puppets to be played with, but sometimes you can't just straight into things.

"Yeah, we never have played their game. Though, I don't believe we're as strong as Robin thinks," Tammy sighed.

Robin looked annoyied. "Maybe," she said, though Tammy could tell she was biting her tongue. Which was kind of odd for Robin.

Tamora bit her lip. Sometimes things she said were taken in the wrong way. Well, most of the time it was with Robin, and it wasn't that she didn't like the girl, but they had never really gotten along. Still, Tammy knew that robin had a good heart and that was why she stayed with her. To help her.

**I noticed that Tammy and Robin's personality's are...simlilar. (: So, I thought that it could make them bicker, lol. Hope that's okay...**

Danny

Everything felt weird. I was so out of energy, I couldn't feel "pain" but there was some kind of throbbing on me. My energy was disappearing as soon as I sucked in more, what had happened? Was it the outside world? Had I been away for so long, and exposed to so much in there that I was dying because of it?

No, I knew it was something else. Poison! My guess was pretty much proven when I I saw the needle fall from my shirt, with a few drips of blood. I must of been hit with it when I was running. It was going to stop me eventually, I knew that, but when that was would be a long time if I had a say.

My powers were on one-hundred percent, drawing in life from everywhere. Being in a forest made it easy though. The poison was strong though, my vision blurred, and everything seemed to drift farther and farther away as I walked. Just when everything seemed to be gone though, something brought me back to the surface for a moment. The voices of people.

Summoning everything I could around me, I marched forward. It was like the final leg of a marathon, if I slowed down I bit I would lose. But not a trophy, or a medal here, no it would be my life. Every single step felt like the last I would ever make. Then, I sucked in something warm. Energy is like that, if I suck in life energy, it is usually just the temperature of the area, energy from machines usually was like shard bursts of burning heat, then deathly cold, and from light and fire just warm. This warmth meant people were near, and I put in my final; sprint.

"What the..." I heard someone say.

"Help," I rasped, and with that, I collapsed, and left consciousness.

*Sorry I didn't post, my computer was down. I'd like to point out that judging from the timelines in their profiles Zach escaped a few years after Robin. So it's more like he sees her as a traitor, Ie: he trusted her and she left him behind*

Zach-

He glared at Robin still smarting from when she'd ground slammed him. "Great if I'd known you were here I would have gone back to my cave. Zach turned and started to walk off, but he stumbled.

Robin caught him and pulled off his jacket revealing the bloodstained shirt, and the deep wounds in his chest. When he was the lion they'd been hidden by his mane. She met his eyes anger and a trace of worry in her eyes. "What happened?"

Zach laughed bitterly before closing his jacket. "What do you think happened our old tormentors caught up with me a couple of days ago and winged me. The real worry is that they had a soldier with powers working with them. Looks like they finally learned how to control us in the field."

She opened her mouth to question him, but just then someone stumbled out of the woods. The boy croaked out "Help." Before collapsing.

Sandy ~ Campsite

"Oh my god!"

She leapt up as the stranger collapsed at her feet. Today was getting weirder and weirder. She landed awkwardly and almost fell on top of him. Fortunately, this enabled her to see something like froth around his mouth.

"Is he alright?" someone asked nervously.

Only one way to find out. She reached out and placed a shaking hand on his hot forehead. At once she felt this strange rush, like someone had hit her hard on the back of her head. Bile rose in her throat. This was bad. Very, very bad. Normally she'd only get a slight tingling feeling; meaning that not much of her power was required. This however...

She was aware of the others gathered around them. Someone had their hand on her shoulder in support. Robin? Tamora? It didn't matter. She just knew it helped.

After what felt like an age, she opened her eyes and removed her hand, using it to wipe the sweat off her forehead. She felt so heavy! So heavy and tired. But it was a triumphant weariness.

"He'll live," she declared. Glancing back at the boy who was slumped unconscious on the ground, she added, "I think."

Lincoln

As the new, seriously injured boy stumbled into the camp and collapsed with a gasp of 'help', Lincoln felt a suspicion stirring inside him. The eyes that he had viewed the world with were seriously jaded since Robin had first told him what his 'caretakers' had really been.

They were always on the lookout for others like them, people with powers who either hated or feared the government. But this many showing up in one place? Something wasn’t right. The only thing that exonerated Zach in his mind was the blood on his shirt – after all, the shapeshifter had every reason to pick sides against Lincoln and Robin. While neither of them had wanted to leave Zach behind, the fact remained that that was what they’d done.

Lincoln stepped up beside Robin, putting a light hand on her shoulder, “Robin? They’re both hurt…”

She nodded, “I know. The agents must be very close.”

He nodded, then looked over at Zach, “How far are we from where they caught up with you the other day?”

In the end, though, he didn’t think it mattered very much how far they were. No matter how many they’d brought, Zach had said they only had one who was like them. So the outcasts were still at a significant advantage. We’ll get out of this alive. I know it.

Zach-Camp:

"Not very. I was injured, so I couldn't fly very far." Zach looked up at the sky, squinting he called the razor sharp eyes of the hawk. "Shit." He swore and started backing towards the trees. "Back in the woods, now. There are planes in the sky. Last I checked these woods weren't on a flight path."

Crouching he ran his hands over the injured boys clothes, and pulled out a small but definite tracking device. "Looks like they didn't want this guy to get very far."

*Ahh im a little lost so this might be shrot...sorry:(*

Shiloh stayed quiet as she watched the others around her interact. Normally she would associate with people, but she dcided to stay quiet. She played with her electricty, watching the jolts of light stretch out from her fingertips. She thought they were ignorign her, but when she looked up, they were all starign at her. She swallowed and smiled, sending out a force feild only she could see, bringing clouds over them. A light drizzle started.
"Hello, is this thing on?"

Izzy looked around, at the drizzle that had just started and at the girl who had made it happen. So she could control the weather too?
Time for some fun!
Reaching out, she created a hole in the clouds, causing the sun to shine brightly through. She made more wholes, meaning that there was a spotlight effect around the clearing, the light moving and illuminating people.
"Stop that! Don't you realise the danger?"
Izzy turned to the person who had spoke and saw the girl, of around fifteen, glaring at her. Abruptly, Izzy made all the light focus on herself, and then the girl. Just as suddenly, the sunlight was gone and the clearing was darker oncemore.
"Sorry." Izzy said reluctantly. Not liking the way those words sounded in her mouth, but knowing that the girl was right, the soldiers were too close.
She sat down and tried to look suitably abashed.

(Having the same power is ok, right?)

Evan ~ Campsite ((Sorry. I call him Shaun by mistake :( ))

Evan immediately started to pack things up. He shoved the cooking stuff into large bags, while with his mind he lifted a saucepan filled with water and tipped it over the dying fire. Steam billowed up and a faintly threatening hiss sounded as he said, "If the government are coming here then I'm not staying."

In the fraction of darkness when he blinked, he saw a street. A van. Ann reaching out towards him... He opened his eyes and the images faded, but not the fear they inspired in him.

"We'll fend them off," said Robin, jaw squared. "Then while they're slinking back to the rock they came from we'll find somewhere else."

"We're not ready," sighed Tammy in a 'why do I bother' way.

"I'm not going back there!" interjected another.

"You think we'll get far before they catch up?" Robin snapped, eyes alight with anger. "We know this place - they don't. Would you rather fight here or out in the woods somewhere?"

One of the new girls, the one who'd created the rain, sighed and then bit her lip. Evan guessed either option didn't appeal to her. With a sigh of his own, he dropped the rucksack containing the cooking stuff and dropped down beside her. The others were still arguing as he murmured to her, "Usually it's pretty boring here."

She smiled a little. "Really?"

"Yeah, wouldn't guess, huh?" He snorted a little. "Evan, by the way."

"Shiloh."

They both looked up as a groan was heard. It was the guy who'd collapsed earlier; he was waking up.

Zach-

Swearing, he crushed the tracker in his hand. "Like I'm just going to wait for them to come to me. Zach thought fiercely. "I'm not going back. Not now, not ever.

He glanced around making sure no one was watching. "This is gonna hurt." He murmured. "But it's better then sitting here." Zach called the lion again, threading the image of an eagle over it. He held the two animals in his mind blended not seperate.

White light flashed around him, then the pain hit. Zach bit his lip to stop from screaming, melding shifts hurt. It felt like being electrocuted. But when the light faded, Zach had taken the form of a griffin. the hind legs and tail of a lion, the wings head and talons of an eagle. Feathers and fur shifted between dark and light gold.

He swept his wings out beating them once for a test. The others had turned to stare at him now. Zach stifled a laugh at the looks on Robin and Lincoln faces. They looked like they'd been punched in the gut. They'd never seen him dual-shift.

Zach leapt upwards wings beating rapidly for altitude, he circled the clearing studying the others. He might not like people, but everyone here had powers. They were outcasts just like him. Suddenly a wind swept upwards beneath his wings, and it was easier to fly.

Above the griffin could see the small low flying plane. Zach opened his mouth and screeched, as he flew towards it.

*I was thinking an aerial battle might be nice, anyone who can fly, or who has long range ablities should join in.*

Koran-

Koran was stunned at the sight of a griffin. Of all mythical creatures griffins were her favorite. Realizing that he was going after the plane that had just flown over head, Koran called to an eagle that she was friends with.

"Wind Wing!" She called "Follow him! Help him if you can, and report back to me."

"As you wish." Came his reply.

Quickly she called to her other animal friends to arrange lookouts and tactics.

Danny

Suddenly the blackness that had engulfed me was gone. Not sure if this light meant passing over to death, or joining the living once more. Either way, I had to go, either was better than eternal darkness, with the one thought "pain". My eyes fluttered open as I was engulfed, having to squint even in the dim lightning.

I moaned, still weak. That I was used to though. "Are you okay?" someone asked me, and I turned my head.

"I've had better days, but hey, I'm alive," I said and pushed myself up with my sore arms. The same person handed me a hand full of berries, but I said no to them. "All I need is a second."

The boy gave me a strange look, but backed away. I took a deep breath, and then stretched my arms out and searched for energy away from the camp. Having to be delicate with what I picked, not wanting to hurt the animals, my fellow campers, or possible food. Settling on a patch of plain trees and grass I began to pull the energy, the clear clumps drafted around the tree and finally into me. A rush of power surged through me as it touched me, all my pain disappearing.

"Okay, guess you didn't need them," said the berry guy. "I'm Evan by the way."

"Danny," I said and we shook hands. "So, how did you guys save me anyway? I thought I was a goner for sure."

"Sandy, she can heal people," Evan said, and before I could say anything else a griffin had appeared in the campsite.

"I think hes going to take on a plane," I heard some girl say, she looked to be the youngest here.

"Cool as he looks, he'll need some help," I said, and began to draw more energy around me, forming a pair of wings on my back, and flew up to meet him.

"I'm coming too," I say, starting to hover above the ground. "Koran, get any animals that you can, and you and Zach are our communication." I turn to everyone now. "We need as much shelter as we can get here, remember...they have guns. Also, if anything goes wrong...Lincoln knows where the safe house is." I look at him. We agreed not to go to the safe house unless the circumstances were dire. We don't want to expose the outcast that is living there while he heals. With that I fly off to help with the air-battle.

*The outcast at the safehouse will be my second character, who escaped with Lincoln, and Zach.*
