*Zach still hasn't met the others yet, right now he is alone.*
Zach-
Dawn was breaking, Zach fought the owls instinct to roost as he fluttered to the ground. He shifted to human as he hit the ground. A skinny teenager, in a leather jacket, and ratty black clothes, standing bare foot in the middle of the woods.
Zach hissed as he stepped on a sharp stone, he'd never gotten the knack for shifting with shoes. Yawning he closed his eyes and focused, feeling the familiar prickle that signified a partial shift. He opened hawk eyes and twitched wolf ears, now he'd know if anyone was coming.
He set off towards the mountain cave he had found.
*Can someone find him, I don't want Zach just stumbling on their campsite.*

Tammy felt alone. So, so alone. Of course, wasn't that what her name implied? Not her birth name, but her true name. She was an outkast. She belonged away from everyone because she was different. It seemed wrong to judge her because of this, no one was the same, then again, she was an outkast because she scared other people. The normal ones.
Tammy sighed and got up. It wasn't any use to just sit there and think about how 'terrible' her life must be. Truthfully, it wasn't that horrible. She just felt like she was the government's toy. Tammy would never be and she knew that. She had longed for her freedom for so long now and she had been helping many outkasts now, to adjust to life here. One day, soon she hoped, Tammy would help them escape. They could only keep them prisoners for so long. After all, this was against their will.
She walked towards Sandy and Robin. She knew most of the outkasts here.
"Hey, Tammy," Sandy smlied at her. She looked up at first and then down, laughing. Tamora wasn't exactly the tallest person here.
"Hi, Sandy. Hey, Robin," she said kindly. "Boring as always, huh?" She asked.

"You know, no one is making you stay here. If you prefer entertainment at the govern-" "Okay, Robin. I get it, calm down." She says, her smile unfaltering. I give her a steely glare.
Glancing over, I see Koran rubbing her eyes drowsily. A small squirrel chattering anxiously to her. I stand up and stretch, but pause halfway through. "Okay, whoever is hiding behind me show yourself. Before I do."
A girl timidly steps out of the forest, "Who are you?" I ask.
"Shiloh, Shiloh McMachen." A small spark lingers on her fingertips. As if it were deciding whether or not to take flight into the unknown. recognising this as some sot of power, I beckon her over.
"Come sit, Shiloh McMachen."

When Izzy woke up she knew something was going to happen today. It was the way the wind gently blew through the leaves, rustling them as though there was a secret Izzy didn't know. Slowly, she got up and looked around, taking in every inch of her small hideout and checking it was the same as she'd left it. It all was. Looking around for a final time, she began packing up her belongings into the small, brown bag she had kept with her for her whole life. When she had finally dismantled her shelter, Izzy left. She started to run, calling the wind to help her pick up speed and cover her tracks. She was exhilarated and free.
No-one will ever find me
Caught up in her thoughts, Izzy stopped noticing what was around her, stopping only when she heard voices coming from a group of trees in-front of her. Slowly, she creeped forward, hiding between branches. Inside the trees was a large clearing, she shifted silently to get a better view. A group of teenagers, about her age or younger, were standing, sitting or sleeping on the ground. A younger girl with a sense of power about her was talking to another girl who had a faint glow at her fingertips, two other girls were standing nearby. Whoever they are, I don't think it's the government but then again, it could be a trap. Deciding to go with her instinct, Izzy stood up and walked into the clearing. Looking at the faces staring at her in fear, anger and readiness, she took a step back, ready for a fight.

Halfway back to the cave Zach froze. He swiveled the fuzzy gray ears until they caught the tones of conversation, a little to the east and further down the mountain. Glancing towards the people and the cave, Zach tried to decide his next move.
His rumbling stomach settled it for him. He hadn't had anything to eat since he'd gotten to the woods two days ago. People equalled food. Focusing he let go of the wolf's and hawk's images. Zach jumped down hill, shifting in mid air, he took the form of a small red fox. He bolted down hill easily slipping through the under brush.
When he reached the clearing he slunk towards the food packs. Nose twitching, ears tilted, both fox and boy listened for discovery. No one, he tore open the pack and burried his muzzled in sandwiches and pre cooked hot dogs.
He was so engrossed in eating that he didn't hear someone come up behind him. Normally Zach would have run, but he had been on the streets for months, he was half starved, so he heeded the beast in side of him of him. Spinning he whirled around light consumed him as he shifted. Going from small cunning fox, to large deadly lion.
Zach bared his fangs and swatted the air with deadly claws, snarling he roared. And everyone in the camp turned to stare at him.

He whistled a jolly tune, oblivious to everything that was going around him. The bark of a small branch felt rough against his hands as he fed it into the fire. Today he was going to make breakfast.
He used to go camping with his family. His little sister, Anna, had always stood behind him and leaned on his shoulders, telling him the sausages were burnt and icky. His lips curled in a faint smile and he could almost feel her weight on his shoulders again. The smile faded when he realised it was something which he'd never experience again.
Then something roared.
He turned quickly, dropping all the sausages and eggs which he'd held in the air with his mind. They sizzled as they landed in the fire and Evan cursed under his breath. Never mind; he'd just have to start again later.
Right now he'd worry about the ferocious lion standing in the middle of the camp.
Or maybe not. Koran stepped towards it, a smile on her face. Ah, she'd persuade it to turn tame. Perhaps even to guard the camp. But Evan still didn't like to turn his back on the lion. With something with teeth that large, it was best to be cautious.

More often than not, Lincoln rose before the others in the camp, and would only return after the majority of the breakfast had been eaten, making a point of checking for agents every morning.
Everything seemed secure, and he saw no signs of threatening animals. When the roar of a lion cut through the still forest air, though, he looked up with a start. That’s not right… He thought, too shocked to react immediately, still very tired. A leaf spiraled past his face as he tried in vain to see the lion through the trees. There shouldn’t be any lions in these woods.
Lincoln’s eyes widened as he realised it was probably roaring in challenge to the others, and broke into a sprint, his grey-green, patchy jacket whipping up into the air behind him. The camp wasn’t too much further, and he could see it just up ahead – all of the others within his sight now, and the lion off to one side of the clearing, menacing them.
He wasn’t sure that he’d be able to fight the lion – especially if his hunch that it was an agent was right – but then, they roared, didn’t they? And everything about Lincoln’s power was based on sound.

*Can Zach and Robin know each other from when they were caught.*
Zach-
Zach crouched over the food, tail lashing. The funny two legs who smelled wrong, thought they could take it from him. But it was Zach's kill, he had found it, he would eat it. In the back of his mind Zach realised that it was the lion talking, not him.
But he was just to tired and hungry, he'd been running so long. Zach just didn't have the energy to fight the lion's instincts. Zach also knew he wasn't as scary as he should be, sure had a sleek golden coat and mane, sure he had sharp claws and fangs. But his ribs were showing, and his belly wouldn't stop rumbling.
A brown haired girl was staring at him in shock and recognition. Zach knew her scent, like flowers and honey. It was the angry girl who left him and ran. But that was okay, Zach was strong, he'd escaped on his own, he didn't need a pride.
Keeping one eye on the campers he crouched, and started tearing through the food eating as fast as he could.

Koran stepped towards the lion, reaching out with her mind to try and calm it. She briefly wondered what a lion was doing in the middle of their camp, but brushed that thought aside. She would have time to worry about that later. She touched the animal's mind with her own and froze in shock. Animals have more intelligence than human's gave them credit for, but this one felt....Human.
The lion felt her touch it's mind and looked at her in confusion.
"You could have asked for some." She said with her mind. "We would have given it to you."
The lion cocked ti's head to one side. Then moving so fast that Koran almost didn't see the transition, there was no lion there, but a boy of about 17 his black hair flashing in the early morning sunlight.
Robin~campsite *Yes, they do know each other, but almost wish they don't* *Is it Okay if Lincoln escaped with them too? If not I can change this.* I am torn. Near the outskirts there is a girl who openly exposed herself to us, and in the middle of camp there is..."Zach." His name escapes my lips, and memories slam back into me. Memories of the government, needles, and escape.
I ignore the girl, and turn to Zach, who is just sitting there...apparently recognizing me. Not really thinking, I lift him up into the air two feet then slam him back down. Hard. "That's for eating our food without asking." I say, but we both know it's for so much more.
"Zach?" I turn to see Lincoln behind me. Staring at our past companion.

There's a new girl in the camp. Evan guessed it was going to be an eventful day. Two newbies, one of which had entered in the form of a lion. Talk about attention grabbing. Well, it had certainly grabbed Robin's attention. She turned her back on the new girl and moved towards the lion guy.
Feeling a little sorry for her, Evan walked towards her.
"Hey," he smiled. "I'd offer you breakfast only I dropped it in the fire."
The girl turned, surprised by the sudden voice, and Evan caught a glimpse of startling green eyes.

"Hey, I'd offer you breakfast, only I dropped it in the fire."
Izzy whipped round, narrowing her eyes at the boy behind her. "Thanks for the thought" She replied carefully "I'm not that hungry anyway."
Turning her head again, Izzy looked around the campsite. At the fire, at the matts, at the people. And at the boy who had just shapeshifted. Interesting She thought, other people have "powers" too? Turning back to the boy, she smiled. "I'm Izzy. Who are you all? What is this place?"
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."
There was new people here. Or so she had heard. She'd been a little...distracted earlier. There was a girl who was smiling talking to some of the people here. She was very pretty in...in a wild sort of way.
Tammy walked over to her. "Hey," she smiled, brightly.
"Hi," the girl responded, nodding to her. "I'm Izzy."
"Tamora. But I go by Tammy," she said kindly.
"Nice to meet you, Tammy," Izzy smiled a little. "Does everyone here have powers?" She asked, suddenly.
"Yeah. Just about all of us," Tammy laughed at her boldness.
"Wow," she replied. Tammy looked back to the other new guy. He was even wilder than the girl, though he was certainly really attractive. He had a sort of dangerous and volatile vibe going on. It frigtened and excited her.
"So how did you both get here?" She asked, turning towards Izzy again. She would introduce herself to the boy later, for now she was just interested in what was going on with the two of them.
