I love it! But then I have a Mickey obsession! :/ Well. The shorts and hands are a little out of proportion, but I can deal, because it's so darn cute! I like the effect of it being drawn on the slightly used paper. It gives it a really nice effect. It's, as you say, vintage. Messy in the ways that are good, neat in the ways that are good. Spot on I do say!

Very cute Thorn! I share the same issues that roon brought up about the hands and the shorts being out of proportion and another concern I have has to do with the stiff feeling that the arms seem to have and they almost seem to short, especially the one on the left (Mickey's right).
But the effect of using the old paper gives it such a cute antique effect and I love it.

Well.,.. this is all depending if this something that you would hang in an art museum. i mean the way he's standing is a little awkward and his porportions are off. i think it might help if you take your work and held it up to a mirror. it's like it isn't even your piece of work. that way it's easier to critique your own work. ~cookies

Thanks for your advice, untalented! However, this is really old, and I've moved on from this drawing. While I value your advice, I'd rather you critique things that have posted recently instead of bringing old things back from the grave. So, I'm going to go ahead and lock it. Enjoy your day! ^^
