Haven

"Oh, but it is," i growled.
The strange creature stepped forward.
"I'm sorry, but we are in the mountains. Mountain lions belong in the mountains, not lions like you. You don't have any say in what goes on here."
"I'm afraid i have to disagree. My lion form may not belong here but this place is my home. Now we can be courteous about this or we can do it the other way."
"You think i am afraid of you, lion." Laughed the creature which i had now realised was female.
"No i don't think. I know. I am Haven, Ex-Rex of Chicago, and now the Unforgiven!" I roared my title at the creature.
"Now tell me, who are you and what are you doing here?"
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

Lee Granger

This guy was getting on Lee's nerves, not a good place to be.

"I don't think it really matters who I am,or what my business is here," Lee stated.

Haven took a step closer to Lee. "If you want to intrude in my home, then it does matter."

"Your home?" Lee asked. "I don't think you can claim the mountains as soley your home. As a matter of fact, I have been living here off and on for the past five years."

"Courtesy isn't your strong suit, is it?" Haven asked.

Lee rolled her eyes and tried to simply walk past Haven. She had no time for this, she was late. "Courtesy is earned, not given," she said before bounding off into the bushes.

Valentina

The sun dipped deeper on the horizon sending a tremor down Valentina's back. Not yet.Just a little longer...Her bones ached for release. Suddenly the tree she'd had villagers chain her to didn't seem much of a challenge.

The tree groaned with her every movement. If she wanted she could probably lift it in her present state. "Damn,"She said breathlessly.

It was all just a test. Valentina wanted to see just how long her body could withdraw from the transformation and it was becoming much more of a challenge. A whimper met her ears, it was hers. She silently scolded herself.

She, unlike most werewolves that she'd met, and that was a lot, loved the freedom that came with being a werewolf. Every transformation she cherished and anything that moved she saw as dinner. The tree itself gave a crackle as she leaned forward.

Now the entire Canadian sky was pitch black. The silence lasted for almost a second until a mysterious voice echoed all around her.

"What...the...heck..." The situation probably didn't look to normal for this person. Valentina knew with the ache in her bones, literally, that she was what people called in her pre-werewolf state.

(the voice could be anyone's character)

[Sorry I took so long, been having computer problems for ages. x_x]

June

She felt the wind rushing past her face, a small smile upon her full red lips, her eyes closed. Basking in the freedom that she felt all of the time. She let out a sigh, her lips parting ever so slightly, her breath came out in a rush of frost air.
"For the millionth time, shut that damn window else you can get outta my car!" His voice was hoarse, his accent like the kind June had only really ever heard on the few western movies she'd seen. She's nicknamed him, in her head, Cowboy. She laughed internally at the name she had given him, her smile widening.
"Dain't you here me?" He growled, turning her smile to a frown. Her eyes snapped open, revealing the blue diamonds before them, she turned her head slightly to glare at the man beside her.
"What?" She muttered, the window still open.
"Close. The. Window." He spoke as if talking to a stupid child, making June narrow her eyes even more, as she ran a hand through the dishevelled wreck of her hair. But she does as he asks, being deliberatly slow as she closed the window. Then smiling sweetly to him.
"Happy?" She spoke in a cheery voice, and he nodded his head. June returned to closing he eyes, letting herself be taken in by the darkness.
*
June woke with a jolt. A beefy hand on her shoulder. Her eyes suddenly a glare as she growled to the man who had driven her such a long way, her growl so similar to a big cat, it scared the man.
"Hey hey. No need for the growling. This is the furthest I'm takin' you. Get out."
She turned her head looking out the window, muttering her thanks as she jumped out and looking around at the desolate road she was standing on. "Nice." She muttered. She felt too tired to turn to her cougar form, so decided to walk for a bit along the road.
After about ten minutes she heard a sound behind her, but as she spun around there was nothing there. Taking it as her imagination, she turned again and carried on her way, but then she heard the shuffling again. This time as she spun, whatever it was, didn't disapear. It seemed to be a large animal, that seemed rather out of place for such a road. She animal seemed to be baring it's teeth at her and growling, so she imitated it, preparing to turn to her cougar form, she wasn't gonna let any animal eat her.

April~~

I looked down at the girl on the ground, she was new at this and it saddened me. HEr human form was small, maybe a girl of 13.

"You are new at this aren't you," A caring smile formed and the girl nodded, "And you are-?"

"Myra," The girl's answer was short.

"how long have you been a wer?" MT body began to shuffle for an extra blanket in my pack.

"Four hours," MYra answered starting to sniffle again.

"Holy Shit," I couldn't believe this a girl at this age, "You must be starving, have this I'm going to find some grub you don't move." I changed back into my form, it wasn't hard since I myself had done it for so long. The girl shivered and my voice was firm, she answered with a nod. MY body galloped off from the clearing and my ears focused on some snarling, I was too close to run now they had already focused on my newly brought scent.

Anyone care to bring Danny in? I kind of lost track of her and I'm too lazy to look at where she's at. (;

Lee Granger

As soon as Lee was confidant that Haven hadn't followed, at least not closely, she slowed to an easier pace. She glanced up at the moon. She had hated the moon for so long, as it's what caused the transformation every night, but now she had begun to see its beauty.

A light in the distance distracted her from dreams of the moon. A small brick church was the source. Lee ran to the back and climbed through the broken out basement window. Once she had moved out of the moonlight, Lee let her bones shift painfully again and soon she was herself.

"Much better," she said quietly as she stretched her arms. Almost as in response, her stomach growled. As if saying, "No, you aren't quite better."

Lee didn't have the energy to make herself transform again and hunt though, two transformations in one night generally left her exhausted. She did have enough energy to walk silently up the basement stairs and take a seat in a dark, unused hallway near the church's sanctuary.

The preacher was giving a message to his congregation. It was only a small gathering, the late service usually was. Lee spent a lot of time in this church. She couldn't really explain it, but it made her feel safe, almost normal.

Suddenly a loud crash came from the other side of the sanctuary, followed by hungry growls.

"No..." Lee whispered as the lights cut out. Only moonlight illuminated the sanctuary, streaming in from a large, stained-glass window on the ceiling.

Someone screamed, and another growl echoed through the church. Lee stayed in her hallway, trying to figure out what to do. I could just let them die. They would blame me if I transformed. Or I could do what's right, and try to transform again, and protect these innocent peple.

*That can be anyone.*

**Sure!**

Danny

Danny's back ached and she wanted to run. She could smell...well, everything. Though their was something else. Something...not quite right. The smell reminded her of...herself?

Danny ran towards it. Her white and black muscular legs carrying her faster than she could have dreamed. As thrilling as it was, she hated what she was. Maybe that's why her senses were so dull. She was always denying what she was meant to be.

Then Danny came across a clearing. There was someone...someone chained to a tree! Danny growled, not at the person, but at the situation. They looked up at her shocked. Danny put her head down a little to show she only meant to help. Whoever they were could help her. From the smell...they were just like her.

Valentina

My eyes flashed up to the sudden noise, someone- no, something was growling at me. It sounded so famliar. I leaned forward to get a better view, the tree nearly toppled over this time. It groaned and swayed, but at least I could see clearly now......A dog? That was exactly what I saw. In between gasps of pain, it started to looked more like a wolf.

The creature sat at the opening to the clearing. A gentle breeze sway the leaves above my head and I caught a scent. Werewolf! It absolutely had to be!

"Hey, get lost!" My voice was hoarse. I arched my back as another zap of pain roared through every bone i possesed. This was all going wrong.

"Here let me help you down,"Came a female voice, right where the wolf had been a second ago. She stumbled towards me, obviously in pain herself.

"Are you crazy?"I cringed as she tugged at analready crakced chain,"I'm working on a test right now!"

The girl stepped back for a second, staring at me wide-eyed."I'm not crazy, I'm Danny, first of all. Second, why are you testing yourself while chained to a tree?"At the last part she smirked.

"Don't you see?"I blurted,"I'm stuck here so that I can moniter how long my body is able to reject the natural transformation to a....a werewolf."

She looked dazed and for a second I thought she really wasn't a werewolf....

Danny

She looked at the girl. "So you really change into a wolf?" She asked.

"Isn't that what I just said?" She snapped. Danny rolled her eyes. "Besides I know you're a werewolf too."

"Not exactly," Danny smiled.

"I just saw you change!" She exclaimed, straining against the tree.

"Yeah, but I don't change into a wolf, though. More like a snow tiger," Danny laughed.

"Oh," the girl replied, quietly.

"Now that's we've got that out of the way, we can talk. As of the fact that I've already introduced myself, why don't you tell me your name," Danny smiled at the girl. "Then maybe we can get you out of these chains after you're finished with your...'test.'"

Valentina

"My name is Valentina,"It wasn't as much a statement as a warning. No way was I about to let a cat cut me loose. Danny must've caught the hint, her eyebrow raised and just to spite me she faked a move towards the chains. Stupidly I flinched like a baby being yelled at.

"Well, Valentina, are you sure that you'renot the one who's crazy?"Danny sighed. A low whimper slipped from my lips. The pain was becoming unbearable, every movement was like the breaking of a thousand bones, and to think was just an unwanted challenge.

Maybe she was right. Maybe I'm the crazy one.It made perfect sense. Who chains themselves to trees in the middle of Canada during the the night? Um, apparantly that would be me.

My pride shrugged away her question,"What would you know about it? This is my land anyway!"I growled.

Danny

"Oh, please, wolf," Danny spat out, angrily. "Don't treat me like I'm stupid."

Valentina only grumbled in return. Danny pursed her lips. She hated the fact that people acted like they new her. They didn't. No one understood.

"Look, I'm not saying you're crazy so much as...well, prolonging the inevitable. Especially by chaining yourself to a tree," Danny said, trying to be kind now. It wasn't like her to get angry. Anger was a rare quality in her.

She understood where the girl was coming from, though. She hated the change, what she became more than anything else. Still, she had searched for a way to just be normal. It proved to be impossible.

*I'll help Sheep!*

Synopa and Tokala~

Syn let another growl rip out of his throat. His little brother was starving, and all that he cared about was getting the fourteen year old some food. His brother shifted excitedly beside him, his long claws digging into the lush forest ground.

The girl that stood on the road turned around suddenly, staring into the forest but in the direction completely opposite of where Syn was. He let out another growl and lowered his striped body slightly, his green eyes locking in on the young woman.

Without a second though, Synopa leaped out of the underbrush, claws extended for the woman. He came within inches of her throat before she disappeared, something digging into Syn's side. He let out an enraged yowl and twisted in thin air, dropping to the ground on all fours. He whipped around, face to face with a snarling, female cougar.

*All I had, hope it helped!*
