BETHANY
Detention was a bummer. Especially since it hadn't gone so well in the first place. She walked in the room with David and Mel. She knew exactly what was going on when she walked in. She slapped a hand to her forehead.
"David...you are such an idiot," she rolled her eyes. She would take the bag from him later. Shane should have known better than to give it to David. He should have given it to her. She never did drugs and no one (she hoped) ever suspected her.
She stormed out and pounded on Shane's door. He opened it, confused. "Can I come in?" Beth asked, slready iniviting herself in.
"What were you thinking?" She exclaimed. "You know David can't help himself. He's like a kid in a candy store!"
"Well-" Shane started. Beth shook her head.
"You should have given it to me. You know you should have. Sometimes I really wonder about you. About David too. How about all you guys in general," she ranted, shaking her head.
"You haven't even heard me out yet," Shane replied, half amused, half exasperated. Beth raised an eyebrow.
"I'm listening," was all she said.

Hanging out at the cafe seemed like a good idea. Avaline said she would go and it seemed pretty fun. Besides, he could flirt with her again. Back home he was the charming type, here, not so much. Avaline didn't even seem to notice his attention.
"Hey, Mary," he smiled at her, watching her talk with another person. "I'm defenitly going to the cafe. Good idea, just so you know. Eveyone will get to meet new people and just hang out."
He gave her the thumbs up sign and walked back to is dorm.
