JONATHAN
He smiled at her. "Secret," was all he said.
Avaline rolled her eyes. "A secret?" She asked, incredulously. "Really?"
Jonathan nodded, holding back a smile. "It's no where too special, I just want it to bug you," he replied, shrugging.
Avaline pushed him a little. "Gee, thanks," she responded.
He lead her to a small, cozy sit down resturant. It wasn't too far and the food was great. He had been here once before. The thing was...they only spoke spanish here.
"Um, Jonathan?" Avaline asked, uncertanly.
Jonathan raised an eyebrow in response.
"I can't read the menu," she whispered. Jonathan feigned surprise.
"Really?" He asked. "Wow, that must suck."
Avaline gasped and shook her head. Jonathan laughed.
"Don't worry. I'm going to teach you a little spanish," he smiled. "I'm sure the waitor will get a kick out of hearing you try to speak spanish. The food's really good though."
Avaline narrowed her eyes. "It better be," she pursed her lips.
Jonathan lauged again. "I'll help you," he said, shaking his head.
They looked over the menu, while Jonthan described that the foods were. He wasn't really teaching her spanish, but she seemed to learn a little. In fact, she even knew what some of the words were in the first place.
"Nice," Jonathan admitted, impressed that she could sort of tell what one of the dishes were. The waitor came and gave them their drinks.
"¿Puedo tomar su orden?" He asked.
"He's asking for our order," Jonathan whispered. Avaline nodded and had to tell him what she wanted three times before he finally understood.
Jonathan spoke clearly and quickly, still laughing at her broken spanish. Avaline rolled her eyes.
"Just remember, I could easily take you to a frech resturant," she smiled. "I'm sure that would be interesting."
Jonathan raised an eyebrow. "I'm sure it would," he admitted, laughing. "The only frech words I know are 'Oui,' 'Non,' and 'fait taire.'"
Avaline rolled her eyes again. "Yes, no, and shut up. I liked that last one."
Jonathan nodded. "Comes in handy, sometimes, dosen't it?" He asked.
"Sometimes people just don't get the hint, though," she teased.
"Haha," he mock laughed, just as the waitor returned with their food.
