Bethany

Beth had grabbed Shane's arm. She never liked murder stories. She had seen it before. Her best friend had been shot in the apartment next to hers. She didn't get there in time to even talk to her.

Someone else was telling a ghost story now. Beth didn't even realize she was still grabbing Shane's arm.

"You still scared?" He asked, grinning. Bethany blushed and let go.

Jonathan

Jonathan wasn't really into scary stories. At first, when he saw a few girls jump, Mary, who was conveniently sitting beside him, might grab on to him. Though, of course he wouldn't be that lucky. She didn't seem fazed by it.

"Not scared," he whispered in her ear, making her jump a little. She shoved him a little.

"I wasn't," she hissed.

Jonathan laughed. "Sorry," he replied.

The next person started their story. Jonathan tried to hold back a yawn. He could tell them all true stories that were far more scary than these fake ghost ones. Of course, he wouldn't though. Back in his gang days, he had witnessed many things. He didn't care to relive them.

Mary

Jonathan was starting to get on my nerves, being all...guyish.

"I really wasn't scared." I assured him.

He laughed a little. "Sure."

"At least I dress in the correct clothes for my gender." I mumbled.

"That's not even on the same level as being scared by fake stories." he countered.

I groaned and stood up. "Well it's been fun guys, but I'm going to try to find my room. It has to be getting late by now and I have things to do tomorrow."

I said goodbye to everyone and walked out the still broken door. I really did feel bad about that. As I made my way through the hallways, it seemed a lot darker than I had expected. My thoughts flashed to the large snake in my roommates bedroom and I shuddered. I hoped I wouldn't accidently walk into that room.

I wasn't very far away from where we had been playing truth or dare when I heard footsteps behind me.

"Hello?" I called into the darkness. No answer. "Jonathan? Is that you?" my voice was shaking. "You know, it really isn't nice to try to scare people."

I laughed at how scared she sounded.

"Don't worry. Its Desmond, You going back to your room?"

She let out a sigh, "Yes." Her voice sounded stronger now, but still a little scared.

Violet~~

The daring part was fun, the ability to think of something besides the storm was enlightening. Yet when the group started to tell scary stories and all, that's when I wanted to puke. The stories weren't even scary but the ability to let my imagination to go to "the right condition for ghosts" in all was kind of sort of nerve wrecking, and to think this storm was- never mind. My body had to get out of there, my mind was wandering to the idea of that nice brrom closet down the hall. No windows and complete silence, she iked the other people about but this talk of ghosts and thunder was not what she had in mind as fun for a girl who was Astraphobic. To think of it, she she should go to the floor below to be safe.
She walked down the hallways, the emergency lights on the floor glowed a dim red casting a scary blood smeared horror flick across my mind.

"girls just wanna have fun-un oh girls just wanna have fun." Humming the tune to Starfuck's **yes they are real look em up they are hot** cover of the song. I ran into someone, for I was looking at the ground at the time.

"Hey Violet," He said, unfazed that I had run into him.

"Hey Des," Not noticing I had just given him a nick name.

"So.. nice stories eh?" Desmond asked.

"Not really," My voice firm.

"Why are you so afraid of a little thunder?" He asked, as we walked onto the elevator his voice sounded like a bantering brother.

"It's eh long story," I said with a sigh not wanting to spill my family history. Silence insued, the emergency lights in the elevator flickered dimly as I pressed my own button then retreated to the corner in my quilt. Then- without warning the elevators motion stopped, it's movement not moving, it's going up and downage not moving.

"Oh crap," Des whispered begginging to press buttons, then resulting to outright slamming them.
My warm body sunk to the ground, my tear ducts begginging to react.

"MY dad died in a thunderstorm," I whispered.

"What?" Desmond.

"My dad had a stroke while he was driving, it was during a thunder storm and-" I choked, "They never found his body."

"Oh.." The silence was unnerving.

"Since I told you something personal it's your turn," I whispered curling in my quilt tighter.

Desmond didn't answer, the eerie red lights cast a pale orange aura off of his skin. He wasn't looking at me at all, he was looking at the buttons all blinking a pale blue in emergency. To think of it, I didn't know my own room mat eat all, he ould be an alien for all I know.

"Where did you come from? Why are you at this oarding school?"

He didn't answer but thien opened his mouth then closed it, indecisive of talking.

"I wanted some change in life," He finally said.

"No really what is it?" Hard to believe but that was really too corny for my tastes. I was intrested, sitting up in an indian squat with a quilt wrapped around my body.

***Jackie***

Everyone started to leave, so it was down to 9 or 10 people. The lights were flickering and the whole thunder and lightning thing made me shiver. I was sitting next to Violet but she suddenly left so I went to sit next to Avaline and Iclisa. The guys, especially this guy named Jonathan and Jack, were really good at telling scary stories and they were getting on my nerves.
"you scared"I asked Iclisa
"Not really" she said unimpressed.
"Wanna hear another one?" Jonathan asked.
Most of the boys left agreed and most of the girls left held on to the nearest boy they had. I had none so I just pressed my pillow as closer to myself as I could.
"There are a lot of stories about this school" He paused. "A long time ago, when the school was starting, there was a girl, a samll girl. Around 11 eleven years old..." but he didnt even finish the story when the lights flickered even faster and a huge thunder that made the building tremble sounded. We couldn't help it, even Iclisa let out a small scream. Some of the guys even laughed at our reaction.

Mykolas

I did not bother a smile for my eyes were getting heavy. I looked around and saw the me and Cornelia were the only ones by the couch while the rest were at the floor having fun except for Iclisa whose face looked she wanted to scream. Even if she ahd acted liek a drills ergeant, it was very funny when she leapt to a nearby boy.

Cornelai fell asleep by my shoulder. Her warm breathe reach my chin.
"How about going out..." she sleeptalk with a smile on her face. I nodded as i rested my head on the sofa looking at the thunder and lightning. The lights were beginning to come back. There was a time that it fully lit before it turned dark again. I wondered if the people downstairs must be doing a lot of work to fix the lighting. I wonder if my dad was there on the mud.

"hey, Mykolas," i heard one of them talked, "How about a story. You can sit there by the coach if you wanted."

i shook my head firmly closing my eyes. "Not now, though i had a weird dream."

"okay, what was it?"

"Sure, i ahd a dream where...it was like this but we were sleeping by the floor. I was at the side and we stayed on some underground school surrounded by pine leaves on an autumn afternoon. Okay, it was night and i was facing the toilet. All of the sudden, a lady in white clothes came out of teh toilet."

"was she floating?" some of the boys sneered.

i shook my head, "no, she walked to me and look down. When that happened her head popped up from her neck and her head landed just before my eyes." some of the girls began to scream even the boys started to shiver.

"what a nightmare!" one exclaimed but i shrug.

"i'll tell you more if i remember but for now, let me have a nap." i murmured before i close my eye and rested my head gently on top of Cornelia's

Desmond~~

I leaned against the wall and sighed, rubbing my hands through my hair. It stood up on its ends, then fell back to its normal messy place.

"Personal... I served in an army squad for a couple of years."

I opened up a tile on the ceiling tile and climbed through before she could respond. I climbed up the ropes that lowered the cart and then kept on going until my phone got service. I called 911 and told them about the elevator. When they said they were coming. I lowered myself down and climbed back in the cart.

"What do you mean?" She hopped up and came over to me.

"SAS. Special Air Services."

"What do they do?"

"They do things..." I paused, "That I can't really talk about."

Travis~

I realized as the other boys told their horror stories that I had no particular talent for it. But in truth I was getting board with the scary stories. My phone buzzed in my pocket.

It was the front office they had finally found me a room. With a Jack and Granger. I fiddled with my phone, but realized I was being rude. Even if these stories board me I should pay attention. I put my phone away. I wanted to do something else.

My phone buzzed again and when I looked at it it was Lily. I got up and went into a corner so no one could hear, and answered my phone.

"Travis, help." Lily pleaded.

"You know I can't, just find someplace and barricade yourself into he crashes."

"I did, but he's trying to break it down. Please help."

"Lily, I'm going to find a way to get you here I promise and neither of us will have to see him again, ok. I love you, and I won't let father hurt you anymore."

Lily cried some more but she agreed, and hung up. I felt sick as I joined the circle.
I smiled but, I was sure it came off fake.

"Let's do something else," one of the girls suggested.

*hugs Foxfire* Thank you! *rubs hands together* Now to post ... Been a while now ...

Cornelia:

Had she fallen asleep? She must've ... Their babbling had ceased long before, and she'd given into the pressing darkness, slipping under. She felt relief. It had been a long day. She hadn't realized how tired she was until she sat down on that couch, trying to muffle her yawns, but only making her eyes water.

It was comfy, that was for sure. She felt that sort of ... weightlessness that people tended to feel when they were flying. Oh, wait-- she was flying. Her arms oustretched, she soared above and through the clouds, a smile spread across her face. She heard a voice beside her, and as she turned and looked, it was no other than ... than ... Rupert Grint? Oh, her childhood crush! Ever since those Harry Potter movies had come out!

"How about going out sometime?" He smiled at her. Cornelia smiled back, as they dropped down a bit, angling themselves towards the ground. The wind brushed her hair gently away from her face; she'd thought that flying wouldn't caress her skin as gently as this was ... but all dreams seemed to do that, right? Make reality seem much better than it really was? "How about going out ..." Cornelia trailed off, repeating his words, smiling over at him.

It was sweet -- too sweet. But her elevation dropped a bit more ... her head felt heavy. Mayday! Mayday! She was going to crash land into the ocean! "Rupert?! Rupert?!" But it wasn't Rupert anymore! It was ... It was ... the Wicked Witch of the West? And her flying monkeys! Cornelia flapped as hard as she could, but the monkeys were dragging her down, down, down, in the sea! She was tugged under.

Her breath caught; she let out a large snort, her eyes popping open. She heaved out a sigh of relief. "Only a dream," she mumbled, "yeah, only a dream." But her back was so sore ... And her head still felt heavy. It was like she was supporting someone else's weight on her.

"Eh! Move!" Cornelia said, kicking out and pushing Mykolas off her. "I'll get a bad back!" She said, feeling slightly dazed, looking around. This wasn't her room ... was it? Then why so many people ...?

She gave a nervous laugh, blushing a little bit. She felt like smacking herself. What an idiot.

Okay. I must get back into the "groove" now! *nod, nod*

Mikolas was telling his supposed nightmare and I couldn't help it but to scream. Thanks God I had my pillow so I could dig my face into it when I screamed.
"Let's do something else" one girl said.I think it was this girl named Melanie.
I was begining to feel sleepy, the rain and thunders weren't stopping and the light never came back. But I managed to mumble something even when I was about to fall sleep.
"like what?" I asked as I crawled to sit by Brennan. Avaline looked at me and laughed. I looked back at her and laughed with her since she at his other side.
I sat next to him and placed my head in his shoulder.
"What are you doing" He asked me in a whisper.
"Resting. Now shut up and don't move" I scowled back quitely. He looked at me with a confused expression. "Please" I finally said and he looked away. In that moment I looked all around the room and noticed that a guy, I think his name was travis, had joined the circle but had a troubled expression. And Cornelia had just woke up and looked confused. I laughed at her expression and shook my head a little bit. It was quite funny looking at everyone.

So were all taking a break while the sight is down. See y'all when it's back up. You'll notice that I'm spelling better than normal and it's because I'm on my iPod which is weird.

MYKOLAS

Cornelia pushed him off and she sat up looking confuse.
"Cornelia, are you okay??" i asked. Cornelia nodded before she excused herself to get out of the room for some breathe. The lightning did not change and when i looked down, some people were waiting for the light to be fixed though the condition outsdie were still teh same. It was windy. I tried to follow Cornelia when i bumped into Iclisa.

"Watch it..." she said before her eyes directed to the sofa, "Are you using the sofa??" i shook my head and she went to the sofa feeling comfortabel. When i found her by the wall, the lights came back and everyone cheered from the room. I shoudl tell them to go out when the weather clears out.
"You okay??" i asked.
"Do i look okay?" she blurted and i moved back partly rubbing the back of my neck.
"Sorry,"
"Dont worry, its not your fault. I'm just a little grumpy...thanks anyway from...nevermind."
"You're welcome..."
there was a pause...i was about to leave when Cornelia asked, "You hungry or something? Me and Iclisa bought some food to eat."
i nodded shyly as we walk to Iclisa's room. On the way, i saw Violet by her room with a smile on her face.
