*Nope, but I can get Mel and the others going too. Truth or dare is always fun *evil smile*
Melanie
Beth was as kind as to call it a night, due to the thunder, and we walked back into the dorms building. Down our hall, we heard some commotion from what I found to be Violet's room. I knocked on the door, and Beth held Travis, David and Shane on stand by. Violet came to the door.
"oh, hi guys!"
"Hey! Is everything alright?
"Yeah. We're just going to play a little truth or dare," Violet, said, smiling. I nodded and made a motion to leave, but she grabbed my arm. "Do you guys want to play?" She gave a quick glance the others that were behind me, and I glanced too. It could be fun.
Piglet: How do you spell love? Pooh: You don't spell it. You feel it.
*Lauren and Jok does Granger and Jack still need a roommate because I don't have one*
Travis~
Personally I never liked the game of truth or dare, but I couldn't say no, so I agreed. My sister Lily always said to choose truth because you could always lie.
"Ok I'll play." I said. I heard the people around me agree.
This is one little planet in one tiny solar system in a galaxy that’s barely out of its diapers. I’m old, Dean. Very old. So I invite you to contemplate how insignificant I find you.
Everyone in our now large circle around the candle seemed to agree. The setting of the room was perfect for truth or dare, the candle only provided enough light to illuminate each persons face and the thunder and lighting were ominous and slightly threatening from outside.
"Who want's to go first?" Volet asked.
I raised my hand slightly in the air. "I'll start." I volunteered. I glanced around the circle, trying to pick a good victim.
The last person I looked to was Jonathan. He had suggested the game in the first place, so he would get the pleasure - if you looked at truth or dare as a pleasurable activity and not a fun way to embarass yourself - of the first question.
"Jonathan," I smiled sweetly at him, "truth or dare?"
*fyi i have no thoughts on a truth or a dare for jonathan, so just make one up =)*
**Gee, thanks Lauren! ^^ I'll try to think of a good one.**
Jonathan
I smiled at Mary. "Truth," he replied.
She cocked an eyebrow. "Alright...chicken," she coughed slightly on the last word.
"Chicken?" Jonathan asked, laughing. "I'll take that title now."
She rolled her eyes a little and thought.
"Have you ever worn, lingerie?" She asked, grinning.
"Well, you see," he started. Mary laughed already.
"So you have, then?" She asked. He shook his head.
"I have a little sister and she never had any Barbie dolls so I," the rest of his sentence was cut off by laughter.
"Yeah, real funny," Jonathan laughed, himself. "Violet? Truth or Dare?"
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!
the new people busted inside the room all suddenly. and soon they began to play truth or dare on the floor. Other than their energy some of the people inside were sleepy. Cornelia was sleeping by Mykolas shoulder who was close to sleeping.
Outisde it was still stormy and the lights were stilld ark.
When they asked violet about a truth and dare question, she took a moment to answer.
After a moment of no answer, is tood up and sat down on the floor with them.
"The others are a bit tired-or are they. Leave them for a moment but for a moment, asked me a question."
*sorry, it was short...i got a headache
John McClane: Drop it. It's the police. Tony: You won't hurt me. John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not? Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen. John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me
I was incredibly sleepy, but since the new people were playing truth or dare all my sleep suddenly vanished and I went to my room with a little torch to look for a pillow. Once I came back almost everyone was sitting in the floor except for Mykolas and Cornelia, even the scary looking guy was Desmond sitting in the floor. I grabbed my pillow and sat down next to Violet.
"ask me a question" Iclisa asked.
"so,...umm" this guy Jonathan began to say.
"Iclisa" she cut off
"truth or dare"
"Dare" she answered.
***All I got***
Les sanglots longs Des violons De l'autonne Blessent mon coeur D'une langueur Monotone. Verlaine
"dare..." i replied.
The guy named Jonathon thought for a moment before he said, "can do a backflip."
i thought for a moment before i concentrate and do it for three consecutive times. At the last time though, i nearly bump into the wall scaping off the cap off my hair. Everyday stood tehre in awe as i went back and place my cap against my cap.
"that's amazing," one answered and i nodded humbly.
This went on for a moment before the lights began to flicker. It was not fully back but the lights began to flicker on and off. I inspected outside and it continued to happen. Something must have happen with the elctricity.
however, one asked teh group, "hey, how about a scary story telling contest? it is the perfect atmosphere." some of the boys nodded while a number of girls did not reply probably scared. I went back to my seat nad agreed to it.
"So who shall start?" i asked impatient
John McClane: Drop it. It's the police. Tony: You won't hurt me. John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not? Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen. John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me
A ghost story, why not. People tended to like outgoing people. "I've got one."
I leaned back so only part of my head was shadowed only showing the upper half of my face.
"There was a boarding school in Virgina, it was a school that was known for it's perfection. The kids had perfect grades the teachers were perfectly nice, and so on. This all changed one stormy night kind of like this one." I paused for dramatic effect.
As I told my story I saw that a few girls were scared. I suppose it was the added effect of the flickering lights. Most of the boys looked unimpressed but I didn't expect much of a reaction from them. I suspected that the only reason Inclisa had suggested scary stories was because he wanted a near by girl to get scared and grab onto him.
"And the last thing the girl saw was bloody knife raised. And the last thing she heard was a clap of thunder." I slapped my hand together for emphasis, to my luck this was coupled with a clap of thunder. Several girls jumped. One girl grabbed me and I saw a few girls do the same with the boys next to them.
I looked at the girl who had grabbed me. "And guess what, the killer escaped and I heard he moved to Main
* Is this school in Main or Massachusetts*

"It wasn't for the story!" I exclaimed to Travis, after I jumped in surprise and grabbed hold of him. "It was a thunder..." My voice grew lower to a whisper.
"And guess what, the killer escaped and I heard he moved to Main ," he said.
"Ha ha," I forced a fake laugh," you're so funny." My sarcasm was plausible in my voice, and everyone grew silent. I watched, with difficulty, Beth holding onto to Shane, and that hint of jealousy attacked me again. I shoved those thoughts away.
"Somehow, I preferred the truth or dare thing," I mumbled. Someone offered to tel another story. "You better move, if you don't me squeezing your arm all night," I murmured to Travis.
Piglet: How do you spell love? Pooh: You don't spell it. You feel it.
Travis finished telling the story and a loud clap of thunder perfected the moment. I hadn't been scared though, ghost stories never really bothered me and I loved thunder storms. Still, I felt left out being one of the only girls not grabbing onto some guys arm.
"I've got a story." Jack announced. "It sort of follows up on Travis' story."

"Well, I have an older brother who graduated from this very school ten or so years back." I started.
"Is he blind too?" someone asked, their question was followed by the nearly inaudible sound of them wishing they hadn't asked that.
I just smiled though. "No, blindness isn't hereditary."
"Sorry." the person mumbled.
"Anyways. He told me about this one night, a night very much like this night. See, everyone knows ghosts only come out when the conditions are right. My brother had been walking his date back to her dorm and while he was on his way back to his room the lights went out." I pasued for dramatic effect, I hoped it worked. I couldn't really see anyone's reactions.
"Big brother was a cool guy though, he wasn't scared by thunder. So he continued on his way. Then, after one loud clap of thunder he heard a low moaning coming from a janitorial closet. He went to open the door to make sure everything was okay, and all he found was a knife. A blood soaked knife. He threw the knife down and slamed the door closed. When he turned around he was greeted with none other than the haunting face of Penelope Lane, the boarding school ghost."
A few intakes of breath echoed around the room. I smiled and continued my story.
"She looked at him and said 'I can't see her head, where is her head?' In the arms of Penelope Lane was none other than the headless body of my big brother's date for that night."
"Why did she kill his date?" someone asked.
"Well it is up to some debate. Some say she just didn't believe in Penelope, others say she trespassed on some sort of unholy territory of Penelope's, but I like to believe that Penelope Lane is just one blood-thirsty killer."
I smiled with satisfaction as the story concluded. No thunder clap finished of my story, but I knew it didn't need it. My big brother always was the greatest story teller in his life, and he taught me everything he knew.
I heard talking from my room so I hopped up and went into the living room where a crowd of people had gathered, playing truth or dare by the look of it. I sat down by a wall and leaned back, giving in to the fact that I wasn't going to get any sleep tonight.
Eventually the game stopped and someone began a "scary story". When He finished I sniggered, failing to hold in the laugh that was building in me. That wasn't horror.
Then someone else began to tell a story so I stood up and walked out into the hallway. Maybe if I could get to town I could find someplace cool to hang out.
I closed the door gently behind me and started walking down the hallway towards the elevator, but I heard it open and someone step out.
*they can talk to me or not, either way.*
