Okay, This Okay. I do have a few nitpicks, though.
Finding A Light Source
I like your attempt at trying to use shading, but It's shaded all over and you don't really have a light source. This will add perspective and make your drawing seem a little bit more three dimensional. Pick a spot on your drawing, Making the left side of the face, or the eye, where the light will be shining too. Here You did little or no shading. As You move away from this vocal point, start shading and form a sort of gray scale as you get farther and father away from your light. As You get farther and farther from the light, the shading should go to almost black when you become the farthest away. For Example, If you were to do the left eye as the focal point where the light hits, the right part of the chin blade would be farthest away, so you should shade accordingly.
Mapping Out The Face Like a grid
When you draw, you should start out with an oval for the face. Then Draw a line down the middle (for the nose), and one approximately halfway down the oval / face (for the eyes). Do two others about 1/4 of the way down (for the eyebrows) and one about 3/4 of the way down (for the lips). This will make sure all the features of this person's face are in proportion. When you finish the features, you can erase these extra lines, Then draw the hair.
Overall
This is pretty good for your first attempt at art. Keep going. You have real potential in you!

Okay! This is pretty good, but it needs a lot of work. What you really need to do is look at human proportions. No one has a head shaped like a tear drop or lips that huge. Study the way the face works. You'll find there are lots of mathmatical proportions, and you'll get a better idea of how large or small you should draw things and where they should be.

I like this but you need to pay attention more to human porportions. Her face is too skinny and her head is like a pitchfork. Her hair is nice but i think this picture could use some more work. I like the shading of her face.
