I think I'm-a gonna get myself a mug to go with the T-shirt I bought years ago.

Plus you can never have enough things to drink tea out of.

I'm not quite sure how you remember exact prices, but as explained in my post above, I have gotten rid of the mark-up on all items. This means everything is marked down $3; not much, but it does mean that YWS doesn't earn anything at all. So essentially, please don't make wise-cracks. It's not appreciated.

Also for those wondering, the prices are going to remain with $0 mark-up. Of course, prices will go up in the future, but that'll be because cafepress is raising their prices (which are already way too high on some items in my opinion).

So YWS isn't making money off these anymore? D:

I'd rather buy something that YWS does get something out of, like (the albiet small benefit) from the Lit Journal.

Definitely have to agree with Teague. If I'm going to buy a teddy bear with my daddy's credit card, then I might as well give what I can to the site.

I feel the same as Teague and lily. I bought my t-shirt because it was nice to feel that I was helping the site in some small way.

I appreciate that, but here's the thing: we were selling maybe two items per year from the YWS store. So removing the mark-up really doesn't have that much of an affect.

Plus, I want to encourage people as much as possible to buy YWS stuff. It was never so much the extra money, but rather that it helps to advertise the site. For instance, my YWS coffee mug at work definitely help to get some word out about the site. Also, I regularly wear my YWS dark t-shirt.

So if you do buy something, you are helping the site because it helps to advertise.

I could always brand "YWS" across my forehead. But then, maybe not.

I will one day get myself a pillow, a mug, a T-shirt, a journal and one of those cute little teddy things that makes me smile. Soon. =D

The prices in the store are cafepress' base price. If you want, you can double-check.

I'm going to get the Blue T-shirt and run down my street yelling, "Join YWS!"


Also, sorry for saying something about the prices. I hadn't checked in here to see that YWS was making no money. How good of you, Nate!
