Yep. I told Rei that it was never happened, but like most things she was right and I was wrong. ;)

I am going to be an actress for at least a moment. I get to do Lorca's "Bodas de Sangre" and I actually got casted in a fairly major part, the beggar woman. Of course, I am very nervous about this. I know there's lots of dramatic talent here... can you give some tips about the difficulties of acting and how you faced them?

Thanks. :)

I thought about my character, and what HER (Or his ;) ) feelings were. I thought about their past and her way of life and how she coped. Then I managed to be that character.

Anyway... Good luck. ;)

If you need anything, feel free to contact me.

Get the memerization out of the way NOW. That way you have much more time for solid character work. Research everything about your character, her home, and the times in which she lived there. If you can't find anything, make it up. Give her a name, a family that once was, a history. Know her inside and out. Next, find ways to connect yourself to her. Similar experiences, shared emotions--desires, fears etc. Work on bringing these to the surface, so they are instantly accessable to you. Sympathize, empathize...do what you have to to love your character. Always remember: Justify, don't judge. You must be able to justify all of your characters actions, even if you as a person don't agree with them. Know WHY she does everything she does, and reconcile yourself with those choices.

Congrats, honey, and Good Luck!

What Snoink didn't mention was that it was the evil ole beggar woman.

I am afraid.
