Raven

I looked around as the others joined us. My breathing grew louder. They were circling me. My head jerked from each one and I started to tremble.

There was bushes. So much plant-life. A man was there. He stood protectively over me as I clung to his pants.

The men circled around us. There were three of them.

"Give us the girl, Shaun," he urged.

"Get away!" He roared, pushing me behind him. I felt a surge of...fear? I was scared for this man. I was feeling emotions.

One man darted forward and grabbed the man. He fought, but the others oon grabbed me.

"Raven!" He screamed. The other man, holding him, hit him upside the head and my savior crumpled to the ground.

I screamed as the men took me away. That man, the one they had either killed or knocked out, he was my dad.

The memory faded. I had memories! I was remembering my life before I became what I was!

The other looked at me strangely. Were they like the men who hurt my father? I backed into the wall.

"What's wrong with her?" Sin asked. I started to shake as they surrounded me. This was just like my memory!

I took a deep breath. They weren't going to hurt me. I wasn't tweleve. I slowly stood. The others still gave me the 'I really think she's crazy,' look.

"I'm fine," I stated. "I just need...I just need a breather."

**Just so you know, Raven dosen't remember her past. She had a flashback and got hold of a memory. She's fine now, but she'll probably have others. She's not really crazy. (; When the others came it jerked her mind to that and that's how she remembered it. She'll be fine. ^^
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!

**I'd like to join if it wasn't too much trouble.**

name- Tabitha Greene
age- 23
gender- female
appearance- brown hair, average weight and height. Strong jaw, heart shaped face. Hazel eyes. Wears glasses.
distinguishing features- Numeous small scars from experimentation.
personality- Driven, highly intelligent, hard worker. Very analytical and meticulous. Not the best social skills. Not willing to comprimise on her morals.
history- The daughter of two scientists at the base, she originally had a job as a technician. She never dealt directly with the subjects and didn't think much of it as she analyzed samples and spliced genes. When she found out what exactly she was helping the others do, however, she wanted no part of it. She tried to sabotage the holding area and set some of the subjects free but was taken into custody. Tabitha was used to see how the genetics of an already matured specimen could be manipulated.
powers- (All of them have telempathy (telepathy/empathy), telekinesis, mild precog abilities, enhanced healing/speed/strength/senses) Tabitha can also take in the properties of different sorts of matter through touch; eg., if she touches a magnet, she can manipulate magnetic fields, a diamond would make her practically indestructable, etc.
flaw- She can retain the properties of matter for about half an hour before having to touch it again. If she strains herself and attempts to hold on to properties for longer, she may start to develop less than useful side effects (fusing of joints, low melting points, etc) which may last for a few hours.
other- The experiments have taken her capability of speech, so she either has to communicate through telepathy or writing. Open for love.

Tabitha woke with a groan. Dear lord, what happened? Her head hurt horribly... Wait, this isn't my cell. And the door's open. Great, this is going to suck. I can already tell. She got to her feet and walked towards the door. There was a bag nearby.

Okay, this isn't so bad. I can get through this. What did they leave me with? Inside the bag she found some saltines and salami, a canteen, a flashlight like the ones security guards have, a sleeping bag, some clothes, and a coil of rope.

Suddenly she stiffened. There were voices coming down the hallway. God grant me strength... She pulled the bag onto her back and hefted the flashlight. If worst came to worst she could use it for defense.

Licking her lips nervously, she stepped out into the hall.

The adjective should reinvent the noun.
