Olin Harper~Trumpet
Olin listened to everything the director said while taking notes on a small note pad. The director went on to discuss musical arrangements and living expectations. The orchestra would receive their music in a day or two with rehearsals started the day after that. A schedule of rehearsals and lessons would be posted outside the dormitory where the team was to sleep. It was located next to the auditorium. Their first large performance was in about a month and a half, but they may be scheduling a small concert before that date. When the director was finished speaking Olin looked over his notes and placed the pad back in his pocket. With that everyone was dismissed.
Olin decided to look for the boy named Hiro, because he had taken the note especially for him. He didn't want anyone to miss anything and decided to would be the right thing to do. It didn't take Olin long to find the boy. He was siting just outside the building getting some fresh air. He walked over to the boy, "Your name's Hiro correct?"
The boy turned to face Olin. He was a little startled and nodded his head yes.
"I have something for you," Olin pulled out his note pad and ripped out the page with the information on it. "Here, it's the information we received during the meeting. It may be hard to read, even though I put it in English. Still you shouldn't have any problem translating. It's just basic stuff." He handed him the paper.
"Arigato," was Hiro's response.
"La vostra accoglienza," replied Olin, but Hiro was a bit confused. "Your welcome. I'm Olin by the way; Olin Harper." He held out his hand to shake.
The boy looked at it a moment and smiled taking it, "Kiyoshi, Fuyuhiro, Hiro for short."
"Well Hiro, I'll catch you later, I have to go get my instrument. addio!" Hiro waved goodbye and Olin went to retrieve his instrument.
