not specifically...I've always liked Celtic designs though, so I use similar ideas in a lot of my drawings.

Thanks, Jennafina!

Finally finished another drawing that I'm happy with...

Image
fixed the one key...and added some more shading... the circles still need some erasing but i don't think too much more of the already erased lines are gonna come off...

Is that, by chance, an alto clarinet? I mean, the neck isn't as curvy as the bass clarinet.

The textures of your work are really quite amazing. The woodgrain, shadows, light reflections, curvatures, are excellent. Your ideas in presentation are very interesting. I like how you split up the clarinet into segments.

I also liked particularly the hilt of the sword in the first post as well as the bird later on. There's a spark of life in it that requires a special touch to bring out- it doesn't just come from taking art classes, it takes a true artist. Lovely job.

this is an absolutley beautiful drawing, i assume you play the clarinet? But as David said the texture and shading is wonderfull. i will have to show this to my sister she will love it (she is a clarinetist). any chance of you doing one of a trumpet?

Snoink if you look closely you will see that there is a curve in the neck, almost like the curve of a saxiphone but its a clarinet i think.

Very nice clarinet. I love the lighting.

The only thing I could fault you on is not having it in color.

Good job!

Yep!! lol ya...I play alto and contra alto clarinets so I know more about how each key works and where it's located, which is similar, but different from the bass clarinet. I didn't expect many ppl to notice bc alto clarinet isn't exactly the most common instrument lol

Thanks for all the comments everyone!!!

Griffinkeeper- yeah...I'd love to do some stuff in color..but I almost always end up messing them up...so I just stick with black and white in the end lol

Dargquon Ql'deleodna- Actually I probably am going to do one of a trumpet. One of my best friends is insanely good at trumpet, and she's moving, so I'm probably going to do one as a going away type of present. I'll make sure to scan it and post it before I give it to her though :D

Love the clairinet one. But I'm a band nerd...
Any deep thoughts behind it? If not, it's fun.

Not really any deep thoughts... I got the idea from another drawing that had the same idea (with the circles) but I added the whole band idea to it lol glad you like it!
