True critique on almost all elements of your writing from creating an engaging storyline, to being able to give vivid descriptions and much more. I prefer one on one, instant critique, to be the best though.

Some poetry, but all prose EXCEPT fantasy

Don't matter to me...

I don't usually think of myself as brutal, but in-depth is a good word for it. :P

Comments

First of all, don't try to PM or email me any stories. Things get lost in my Inbox very easily. Post the story on YWS. Please.

I like concentrating on character, word choice, and grammar. I tend to like structured writings better than nonstructured. Also, I love helping people who are beginning to write since I was in the same scenario a couple of years ago.

Note that I get a lot of requests already, so do not keep coming back to me for multiple critiques. Or at least wait a week before asking me to look over something of yours.

If you are having a consistant problem with your stories and think you need extra help, instead of asking for multiple critiques, ask me to write a tutorial of something you're having problems with. I'll create a tutorial, post the tutorial in the "Writing Tips" section, and PM you so you know where to look.

Prose (all genres)
Please no poetry, I would never be able to help you in poetry because I'm not good at it myself!

Just PM me, and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. Just give me atleast a week to review.

I'm fairly new here, so many of you may not have seen my critiques alot, but I'm very honest and I tend to concentrate on both the idea of the story and the technical aspects (grammatical erros, spelling errors, etc.)

I am brutally honest, I won't lie and your work is likely to be torn apart. Please don't ask if you don't want an honest review.

All but si-fi. And art. Especially art.
PM, or msn.
I'm nicer. Ask me if you're having a bad day, and I can't find spelling errors for my life.

I read for the ideas rather than that technical aspects (grammatics, spelling, etc.). Ask me if you want comments on the story itself.

FOR THOSE OF YOU SEEKING CRITIQUE

Please only submit one request at a time. Multiple request can be very very tiring. Also, please only send your request to one or two people posted here. And remember, by now each of us has recieved at least 3 request, so be patient.

I am not a critic of grammar, spelling, or other atrocities; rather, my focus is the luminary from the nether-regions that spawned your poem. Rainbows, puppy-dog tails, and angels don't exist -- don't expect them.

Not too picky on poetry, but I'm working on it. Same with art. If you'd like a thorough critique of prose, let me know. It'll take a while because of my busy schedule and amount of work I put into it, but I can be very picky - almost as picky as Mesh. ;)
Love and Light

The day, which was one of the first of spring, cheered even me by the loveliness of its sunshine and the balminess of the air. I felt emotions of gentleness and pleasure, that had long appeared dead, revive within me. Half surprised by the novelty of these sensations, I allowed myself to be borne away by them, and forgetting my solitude and deformity, dared to be happy.
— Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
