~Rosa~
My entire body leaped into big sister mode as Hayden stepped closer to the girl. I went for his pack and was rummaging in it.
"Rose?" He asked, looking at me with a question in his face.
"I put one of those when-you-need-it-ice-pack-thingies in here." I found it quickly and started squeezing it together to make it cold. I then set it on her ankle in hopes to get the swelling down. "We have to get her inside."
Hayden was already about five steps ahead of me, Raven in his arms. He was walking carefully and I held the ice-pack gently in place. It took longer to get back than it should have, but we did get there. People immedietly started to help us. Another man took Raven from Hayden and I smiled at him.
"I'll pray for you everytime I think of you. Love ya brother." I gave Hayden a hug, "You've got to go. I'll miss you." What I wanted to say was, don't you dare think about not coming back here, but I knew he couldn't promise a safe return. We all knew the risk.
And I left with Raven. She would have to wake up to a face she knew.
