Marya:

I ran up to Alex's door and gave it a big kick by the handle. It crashed down and I went inside. His room looked unnaturally clean. I got up real close to Alex's ear. "Wake up bastard," I screamed. "What the hell?" he replied, bolting upwards and groping for his mace. A rather overrated tool, I thought.

"You and I need planning time. It was an unofficial vote downstairs. Deputy and Leader need to fix security." I explained. A grimace spread across his face. "I'm none too happy either." I reminded him, glaring back.

We reached operation room. Though we had tried to clean up a bit, all of us were tired, so was still splashed across the walls, and the aura and stench of corpses was still present. "Great office space captain." I said sardonically.

"So," he started, ignoring me, "First we find the problem."

No duh, I thought. "You're always so chipper. It's really morale boosting." I noted out loud as a reclined in my beaten up, weather-torn office chair. I started spinning around. "Did you know that a long time ago, people used to have office chair races? They'd just send themselves down hills on office chairs. That sounds really great right now... But alas, we're stuck with a leader who doesn't know a thing about what he's doing." I drew out a long melodramatic sigh.

"You don't either." He shot back.

"Well I'm not leader. I'm only deputy. You're supposed to know."

"You wouldn't be deputy if Jacob were here."

We froze and quieted. Yes, if Jacob were here, it would be different. All of us would be less up tight. I hated to admit it, but he was right for once.

"Jacob's dead. Leave him out of this." I tried to remain fierce, but my attempt was pitiful.

Alex

"Hey, just trying to keep him around somewhere. Unlike you...." I said. I saw her take a strike, but before she could I blocked it and continued. She hated that she never could surprise me. I may not be a good leader, but I was a good fighter, no matter if I liked it or not. The spike was getting annoying, so I released it and placed it on the desk, leaving the chain and handle.

"Okay. So deputy. I am putting you on clean up duty. No magic allowed. after every room I will inspect, and evaluate it. If it does no meet standers you will keep working till so," I said and left.

She broke. She waved her weapon, and a fury came upon me. But I was already behind her before it was fully out. "Remember. I'm the leader, I have to be good. No you are under me, so I may tell you to do anything. Now clean. I must talk with the heads and see when I can finally demote you to maid."

Still angry, she grabbed and crushed some wall in her hand, but did not bother attacking. What ever, I wasn't in the mood to be around her. She always got on my nerves, so why not go vise-versa.

Natasha:

"You wish. I think you're just jealous." I retorted. Verbal abuse wasn't working, and honestly, he really couldn't kick me out. I raised my quarterstaff.

"Stop it!" Bones yelled at us. "Bloody idiots, can't you two just cooperate for once." He knew us. We did this sort of thing a lot. "This is why we never get anything done. You're busy fighting each other." We had gotten this lecture a ton also.

"Okay, fine.Temporary truce." I mumbled. He grudgingly shook back.

"We're going to need to check the generator, they've probably cut some vital wires in there." He informed me. I opened my mouth to make a sarcastic comment but closed it after seeing Bones glare at me.

Khistopher

"Hey, no problem; you need to stop doing that." She teases gently, and instantly begins the 'mothering' process. She reaches down to tug off his shoes and makes a flippant motion with her hand. "Off with the pants, Matthias." She says, with a little blush. "And get yourself under the covers. Come on." She gives him a sweet, gentle smile. "Why do you do this when you know what it does to you, hu?" She adds, making sure he's settled, generally fussing over him in true Khistopher style. "You worry me, you know. Well, all of you worry me, but-"

Eve

Melanctha and I looked around.

We were standing in the middle of the battle field.

I looked around as if I searched for someone.

Then I saw him. I didn't know why, but he looked so familiar. As if I had known him from before i lost my memory.

Slowly something came back at me. The memory was so foggy. I couldn't catch a thing.

The last few weeks this was happening all the time. I was getting foggy memories...

"Eve? Are you OK??" a voice came through the thickness of fog that was in my brain.

"EVE?!!" the voice asked again only more persistent.

Melanctha~

Eve looked like she was about to barf, she started to wobble a little. I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Eve? Are you OK?" I asked trying to see if she was injured any where major.

She didn't respond but some one did. . ."Eve?!!!" a questioning voice asked.

I turned to stare at the guy, who ever this was seemed a little to happy. "Who are you and how do you know Eve?" I demanded.

It may of seemed a little harsh but Eve was my best friend and I wasn't going to stand by while some stranger comes and acts like he's known her his whole life. . .or has he?
