Ghost squad

Well I've joined so many storybooks I thought it was about time to start one up.

Plot

In a modern day city magic roaming free but not too fear their are those in the magical rule that are dedicated to protecting all things magical. the magical from us, us from the magical. the Ghosts (not actual ghost its just what their called). Their are many creatures in this world but the ghost are made up only of wizards, witches. every wizard or witch has a magical item it can be anything from a match to hockey stick, anything basically they use these objects to channel their magic through. Every wizard witch has a different colours of their magic. (their are some the same cause their aren't that many colours but let try and keep it different okay guys) Now a great evil is rising out of the ashes of its former empire.

Name: Ferdinand Woodville

Age: 20

Colour of their magic: Fiery Red/Orange

Magical item: Antique Sword (the hilt guard is decorated in the shape of a dragon)

Appearance: Has long, clean blonde hair, blue eyes and pale, freckled skin. He is slightly taller than average, and physically fit. He wears smart/casual dress - usually a shirt and some jeans.

Personality: Ferdinand is a man obsessed with the old doctrine of Chivalry. He refuses to do anything he consider dishonourable, and is reluctant to show himself in an unglorious light. He has a code which he sticks to, even if it will result in his certain death. When he declares his loyalty to someone, it is hard to make him change his mind. He is easily angered, and he carries a spare sword virtually identical to the one he uses around so that he can offer duels to anyone who offends him (the sword is a unique design, with three 'sister swords', each with a different creature decorating the hilt - Leon has one of them, and the other is lost, Ferdinand's spare one is decorated with a wolf)
Ferdinand is a skilled swordsman, so he specialises in magic which enhances his fighting capability. He refuses to use ranged weapons, considering them dishonourable, but he is willing to use deadly magic on opponents from a distance if he considers them worthy.

History: Ferdinand's mother was one of the last of a prestigious noble family. As such, Ferdinand had a very 'traditional' childhood. During his childhood he became fascinated in heroes of ancient times, and emulated them. It was while taking swordsmanship classes that he discovered he was a wizard, as he accidentally channeled magic through his sword, throwing a small fire ball at his opponent (resulting in minor burns). At the age of 19, he joined The Ghost Squad for glory and honour.

Age: 22

Colour of their magic: Icy turqoise

Magical item: Antique Sword (the 'sister blade' of Ferdinand's sword - they're exactly the same design, except Leon's sword's hilt guard is decorated in the shape of a lion)

Appearance: Has medium length black hair, brown eyes and very pale skin. Usually wears a black hooded cloak.

Personality: Leon shares many of Ferdinand's personality traits. However, where Ferdinand is obsessed with Chivalry, glory and honour, Leon simply wishes to be 'the best'. He will stop at nothing to become the unchallenged master of every martial art, starting with swordsmanship and sorcery. He is not easily angered like Ferdinand - but this is mainly because people rarely get the chance to anger him, as he will slay or wound them as soon as he recognises them as an enemy. Ferdinand is cold-hearted, and does not bother with 'petty' things like mercy, respect and honour - he just identifies his foes and tests his strength against them.

History: Leon was brought up in the same household as Ferdinand, but their relationship was neither brotherly nor friendly in nature. They would fight often, sometimes injuring each other badly. Leon joined Ferdinand's swordsmanship classes just so he could prove he was better than Ferdinand. He found out about his magic after Ferdinand (by which time Ferdinand was living elsewhere, a member of the Ghost Squad), and he now seeks to destroy Ferdinand - he doesn't care how literal Ferdinand's destruction is, just so long as he can prove himself to be the better fighter.

Name: Alexander

Age: 19

Gender: male

Color of their magic: Blue. Changes with mood, the darker it is, the worse his mood.

Magical item: Mace (the spike ball on chain mace)

Personality: He is light and bubbly. Some describe him as an idiot/air head, others as a dreamer. When you first meet him, you'll think "Idiot" or "Slow". But as you get to know him, you see past his light, warm, slow outer shell. Into a more sensitive, smart inner core. His light personality is easily broken also. He gets in content fits of rage over small things, causing him to lash out with his weapon. Alex always tries to look on the bight side though, and look to the future. People like this about him, because he always tries to spread this hope to others.

Appetence: (You forgot this) he has light, blond hair, that is never on right, always messy, really, the normal messy, is his normal. His eyes are big a blue, and always seem to be out of focus, and not paying attention, most of the time because he is, but really they just have a stuck look of confusion and dreaming. He is around five-seven, with no muscle at all, but it is not so he looks really weak, just sort of scrappy. The clothes he wears are usually light colors, blue and white mostly. His skin is Caucasian, but tanned.

History: Will post later. If not that, I will reveal in story.

Name: Alucard Van Helsing (sounds wizardy...)

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Colour of their magic: Black with glitters of gold and silver

Magical item: tattoo that spirals up his right arm. Its written in Celtic symbols. They flare red when he uses magic.

Appearance: He is a big guy. A little over average hight, but build like a football player. He has layers of muscle that give him the appearance of being dumb, but he is very intelligent. He has Dark hair that stays messy from a decade of being thrown under a toboggan haphazardly. His eyes are green with a hint of gold and they seem to catch everything, yet be lazy, old and tired. He is young, but the way he carries himself suggests a wisdom and age beyond his years.

Personality: He is very calm and relaxed, and to some he may even seem uptight. When he was a teenager he traveled a lot, and he saw a great many things that still haunt his nightmares. He finds it hard to attack himself to anything, but when he opens up, and begins to feel safe and welcome, he reveals his true nature. He is very kind hearted, and generous. He is very honorable.

History: Grew up in a small family and when he was fifteen he came home and found his parents dead. He started to travel the world, and thats when he discovered his abilities. He was in Ireland working on a steam boat when he got drunk with his captain. The captain dared him to get a tattoo and he did. Over the next several years he discovered his abilities. He is largely untrained, so his magic is wild at times, but very powerful.

Name: Saul Ranneck
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 170lbs.
Hair: Brown buzz cut
Eyes: Blue
Magic: Black, literally causing darkness instead of light.
Artifact: Blackened steel gauntlets consisting of dozens of interlocking plates. Each plate is rimmed with a sharpened metal ridge specially designed so that, when tightened into a fist, the gauntlets become a veritable weapon. Even a glancing blow or a blocked attack becomes vicious against unarmored opponents, for the ridges do damage where impact fails to.
Personality: In his younger years, Saul was considered too explosive to be considered for a leadership position within the ranks of the Ghosts. As he matured, however, his prowes and his overconfidence converged, meeting in the middle to create a well-rounded wizard whose experience makes him cautious but whose bold nature makes him cunning opponent. He still retains much of his younger self's restlessness, but channels that restless energy into productive action.
Appearance: Saul has a noble figure, much like that of a Quarterback. His broad shoulders and thin waist creature a triangular figure that exudes strength and speed, and his cocky smirk portrays a sense of invincibility that often unnerves his opponents.
History: Classically trained as a wizard from a young age, Saul has had more than three decades of experience in the workings of his magic. As such, his repertoire of spells is very focused and specialized. It is not a broad repertoire, but nor is it terribly limited. He has a good balance of offensive and defensive abilities, with some minor utility spells that round off his otherwise combat oriented magical array. He is a veteran member of the Ghost unit, and loves hazing the newer members. His father is a high ranking--albeit aging--official in the Wizarding government, but he never used that influence to help his son achieve his position, much to Saul's frustration. Ultimately, this led Saul to work for his own achievements and allow him to grow into the Wizard he is presently. At 35, he is nearly out of his prime, and just beginning to lose the edge he worked so hard for in his training. He is not discouraged, however, for his magic is growing by the year even as his body begins the slow spiral into mediocrity.

Name: Marya

Age: 20

Height: 6'4''

Weight: 138lbs.

Hair: She has layered hair, the longest part is 10''. It is naturally highlighted different shades of tawny yellow, red, burnt sienna, and chestnut. She has angled bangs. The base colour was the burn sienna.

Eyes: Violet. They're very dark and imposing, and her eyelashes are very dark, so it gives the eyeliner effect.

Gender: Female

Colour of their magic: Translucent-ish psychedelic. It is sort of like a condensed mist.

Magical item: A quarterstaff that looks like two silvery roses, intertwined, that meet at the top. Sort of like a caduceus but longer and with roses instead of snakes.

Personality: She is very ambitious, frank, bold, tough, and enduring. She's also very defiant and likes to follow her own rules. She can be stubborn to the point of utter frustration. She's very creative, witty and overall intelligent. She's a very bad liar. She can be very amiable, but very opinionated. Luckily she doesn't follow stereotypes. She is very good at concealing her true feelings.

History: She would normally prefer not to share this, but here it is. Don't hold it against her. Actually, it would be rather amusing for her to verbally assault you if you did... She killed her brother. She didn't mean to of course, her powers were new and uncontrolled, but she still did. And ignorance just isn't an excuse anymore. That alone, naturally, has affected her. She's still a rather unhappy person. Her father, was pretty upset. She used to love him and idolize him, that's taught her never to love, you'll lose the one you do faster than you'd know.

Alliance: The one that benefits her the most. Currently the ghosts.

Name: Caressa (Ressa)

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Colour of their magic: A vibrant pink.

Appearance: long blonde hair with pink streaks running through it, usually worn in a braid or a bun. She’s tall, about 5’7 in height. Her skin is pale, so when her magic shows on it, it appears even more vibrant a pink than it really is, often confusing her attackers. Her eyes are a strange color, appearing violet in the sunlight, and blue at night.

Magical item: She carries a small wand that appears to be broken, but her real magic lives in her skin, burning in bright pink tribal like marks when she uses it.

Personality: Cheerful and blatantly sarcastic, she has a great sense of humor and a stunning smile that everyone gets to share in. She’s not quick to anger, but if you do set her temper off, watch out. Generally she stays calm in battle, wielding her magics like no other. You won’t see her power coming, as she appears to be small and playful rather than authoritative and mighty.

History: She was trained by her father and uncle, using family methods rather than conventional training methods. She grew up poor, her parents not having enough money to send her to school past the basic grade school classes. She was sent to work to provide for her family at age 14, and has worked a number of odd jobs since then, after she found out her village had been burned down she returned home. Her family was missing, nothing left to give her any clue as to what happened. From then on she searched for them, accidentally finding herself a place in the Ghost Squad. Her surprisingly strong control of her magic may have had something to do with her landing a spot.

Name: Melanctha Veel

Age: 19

Gender: female

appearance: light creamy tan skin, raven black long curly hair. And ice blue eyes that turn purple (the more magic she use the darker they become)

Colour of their magic: a deep dark purple (almost black)

Magical item: a black rose that lets out a toxin that can either put you in a trance, if exposed for it for to long it could poison you.

Personality: Quiet and mysterious talks to those she trust, and tries to solve situations with no violence (unless it's one of the evil people that's understandable) Likes to watch the sun rise, but hates the sun set.

History: She didn't know of her magic origins her father was evil is a wizard that betrayed the ghost squad, and her mom was a witch on the ghost squad. When her father turned evil he killed her mom baby sister. And her older brother went with him. She was almost killed but was found by some one and healed. Her last name use to be Veelantic, but she changed it after her father betrayed her.
