Ana and Daybreak are off in the forest only a ways away from the farm. They are headed towards the city though, I think. Well that's where I'm going to put them.

Ana

I pushed on through the woods, bucket full of possesions under my arm. Nothing crossed my mind but finding Peter, he was in the city somewhere and I just had to find him.

"Ana, you should rest." Daybreak said, worrying over me as we walked. "You've had a hard day."

Her words hardly made it past my ears. I didn't want to rest, I had to find Peter. He was all I had left in the world now, him and the possesions under my arm. I couldn't possibly care for anyone else at the moment.

Daybreak grabbed my cloak and stopped me. "Ana, please rest for a little while."

"No!" I spat at her "I have to find Peter!"

Peter

"Who was that." The words were barely more than a whisper from my mouth. It wasn't even a question, more myself thinking out loud. The man had stated he knew people like my parents with children of the same names as myself and Ana. He had said he was my mothers brother.

"She never mentioned family..." I whispered.

Nightfall was staring at me, half concerned and half annoyed.

"She never mentioned anything about her past...neither did he..."

"What are you even talking about?" Nightfall asked. "You're acting like a crazy man."

I stared blankly at Nightfall for a moment. "He thinks he knew my parents." I said. "He thinks my mother was his sister."

"Do you want me to find out?" she asked. Her tone showed she seemed eager for something to do.

"Ask him if he knew Alana and Tamus Killeurdrenn"

Nightfall looked at me incredulously for a moment. "Your last name is Killeurdrenn?"

"They changed it to Kille, but they told me once their real name. Alana was my mother and Tamus was my father, please ask him if he knew them."

-------
Okay, now Peter and Ana have a last name =P. Also, Ana is a bit upset right now so no one be mad if she snaps at you. =)

Yay! Haha I was going to ask for the parents' first names too XD

Daybreak-

My ears twitched a little. I knew what Nightfall would do. Nightfall would crack and force her to listen to her. However, my good nature does not exactly allow for me to get angry. I nodded.

"Well, at least let me carry you," I said. Ana's dark, tired eyes flitted to my face. "If I run, we'll get there much faster than if we continue walking."

She sighed, but agreed. So I changed to a wolf, took the bucket in my mouth, and Ana climbed on my back. I took off through the trees and towards the city. When we got there, I morphed back and we calmly strode in and towards the castle.

Nightfall-

I nodded in agreement to Peter's request and morphed into the smallest cat possible. I slipped through the cell bars again and followed after the man in the armor.

It took a little while, but I found him. He was rather alone, isolated from, well, everyone. He was in a little room all by himself. So, I snuck in there and, making sure to close the door behind me, approached him. He sat at a table, hunched over slightly, his head buried in his arms. I jumped up on the table, right in front of him. He jumped, as though he was startled, then relaxed, as though he recognized me. Jeez, this guy knew everybody.

"You..." he said quietly. "You're the cat. The one that was following the guards in here." He stared at me for a minute. "What are you doing here anyway?" He asked. Foolish humans, the lot of them. Thinking they could communicate with animals. Of course, though, I was no ordinary cat.

"I have questions for you," I responded. The man moved backwards, rather astonished that a cat was talking to him. "And I want the answers."

He coughed quietly. "I'll do my best..." he said. He was handling it surprisingly well. I nodded, then changed back, and knelt down on the table. The man seemed to calm down considerably. "That explains it then," he said quietly.

"It does, doesn't it?" I cleared my throat. "Now," I began. "What do you know of Peter's family? The Killeurdrenns?"

He gasped. "I knew it!" He exclaimed. I raised an eyebrow. "I knew he belonged to their family! So that makes him...my nephew... Oh!" The man's antics and random epiphanies were alarming.

"Okay, before we say any more, who are you?"

"General Raymond McNally. Ray, if you please. And...you are?"

"Nightfall," I answered.

"Just Nightfall?" He asked.

"Yes," I responded. "Now...your last name is incredibly plain. Compared to your brother in-law's, anyway. Is that really yours and your sisters' last name?"

Ray cleared his throat. "No. I changed it when I came here. See, Alana and I were born and, for the most part, raised among the elves."

I stared at him. "You don't look like an elf."

“I’m half and half,” he replied.

I laughed. “So am I.” Ray nodded with a thoughtful smile.

“Anyway,” he continued, “she and I were separated after awhile. She stayed with my mother and the elves and I left with my father. We came here. I saw my sister every once in awhile. After a time, she got married, to—“

“To Tamus,” I interrupted. He nodded.

“Tamus, that’s right. Tamus Killeurdrenn. He was a nice guy. Peter turned out just like him. And Ana…the daughter… I’m sure she looks just like Alana…” He then fell deep into his thoughts. I snapped my fingers a couple times and he woke up. “Oh! Yes. Sorry.”

“No matter,” I said.

“Anyway, I was gone for awhile, and after my father died, I went back to the elves to relay the news to Alana. Except, she had left with her husband and children. I was told that a kindly elf named Lyla helped them get away. So…I never saw my sister or brother in-law again, and I never got to meet my niece or nephew. At least…until now…”

He seemed to fall into a trance again, so I wrapped up the conversation. “Anything you want Peter to know? Or anything you want me to tell him?” I asked.

“Ask him how he became so much like a human. I mean, like me, he looks nothing like an elf. How can that be?”

“Very well,” I told him, and with that, I changed into a cat and made my way towards the door. “Oh, and one more thing,” I said. Ray looked down at me. “My presence will be our secret, okay? Between you, Peter and I.”

Ray nodded in agreement. I slipped out and ran back to Peter with my findings.

Peter

Nightfall returned after what seemed like an eternity. She slipped through the bars and sat beside me on the cold stone floor.

"Did you find him?" I whispered.

"He's your uncle, your mother's brother." she said.

My mother's brother. There is more to my family out there, more of my family that is alive. The knowledge was almost too much for me to handle at the moment. Nightfall broke through my thoughts soon enough though.

"He wants to know how you managed to look human." she said.

"Human?"

"He wants to know why you don't look like an elf."

"An elf...oh of course, that explains the strange names. I wonder how I never came upon that before." I said, more babbled. All the shock was not sitting well with my thought processes.

"Start making sense, Peter." Nightfall demanded.

I laughed, actually laughed at this statement. Surely I was going crazy. Luckily, Nightfall slapped me across the face before I really lost it.

"Thank you." I said. "Could you ask this man to come speak with me?"

"Whatever," she agreed, "but I'm not your errand girl you know."

"I know." I watched Nightfall transform and slip back through the bars. Before she was out of sight I called out to her. "Nightfall, what was his name?"

"General Raymond McNally."

Ana

Daybreak was right, I was exhausted. Once she let me onto her back, I fell asleep and didn't awake until she transformed near the city gates.

"We're here." she stated, though I could clearly see that.

I nodded anyways. "Now we just need to figure out where Peter is, and how to find him."

-------
Is Johnny still a character in this? If so, Ana and Daybreak could run into him somewhere.

Are Ana and Peter full elf's?
I don't know if Johnnys in this. Ill ask.

Sophia

"Your... your a *bleep*!" I screamed in Mikael's face. In instant later i covered my mouth with my hand, shocked that such words had come out of my mouth.
Mikael smiled as if he had provoked me to swear. I could ve slapped his face for that, but I know it wouldn't hurt him one bit. He'd just lough.
I wanted to scream. I never felt such strong emotions before, for the first time getting to know hatred. Í couldn't understand what i had once felt for this BEAST!
I fought for control infront of the laughing vampire.
"I'm gonna go now. I cant deal with this. Have a nice life." I tried to say as calm as possible realizing at that second that I ha now clue which direction to go, and that a woman travelling alone... well bad things could happen. I stomped away anyway.
Mikael laughed even harder and called, "Wrong direction Soph!"
I turned "Whatever." Stomping in the other direction.
"The only right direction is the one we're going. Your gonna have to join us." Mikael laughed.
I didn't want to realize my defeat. "I am not going to join you!"It was as if god was making fun of me. Exactly that moment the heavens opened and rain poured out with lightning, Thunder and all the perfect storm components.
Mikael couldn't stop laughing waving.
I would apparently have to join them.
I gracefully walked back to the troll and the vampire. "This just is business! We're simply people traveling together!"

I think we should just make Johnny and Marten NPCs. It would make things easier. Then we could all play them.

Ray-

I hid my face in my hands and thought hard about everything I had told Nightfall, and all I had learned from her. As if on cue, the tiny cat came in again.

"Back again?" I asked her.

She sighed. "Hopefully for the last time, yes," she answered. "He wants to see you."

I swallowed hard. Time to face the music. That my only nephew was tied up in the dungeon, and there was nothing I could do. However, I nodded and stood up, following the little black cat out of the room.

I didn't get far before Marten called out behind me.

"General!" I groaned internally and turned.

"Yes, highness?" I asked innocently.

"Where are you going?"

"Nowhere. Just down the hall." Way down the hall. It wasn't very believable, but it was true.

He looked at me oddly. "Well, don't. I need you down here." He gestured to the hall behind him.

I groaned on the inside again. "Yes, sir."

I glanced back at Nightfall. She winked. My eyes widened, fearful of what she could be planning. She dashed back down the hall and behind a shadowed suit of armor. Seconds later, a giant black lioness raced down the hall, towards Marten and I. My eyes widened even more at this sight. Marten cried out.

"Catch it!" He shouted. "What's a lion doing here??" He bolted after her.

I didn't know what to do. Peter was waiting, but Nightfall was running straight towards the other guards. Hopefully she knew what she was doing, and she could get out of whatever she managed to get herself into. I had grown fond of that little cat in the few moments I had spoken to her. Making up my mind, I turned around and made my way swiftly towards the dungeon.

I calmly walked through the door and quietly seated myself in that same chair I was in not long ago. Peter looked up at me, eyes shining.

Nightfall-

I raced through the halls, dodging guards and servants as I did so. It was not long before, to my great misfortune, I came to a wall. A dead end. By this time, everyone that I had passed was chasing me.

One that I didn't see, however, was Mr. General man. Good. At least that last trip was not in vain. I didn't dare fight my way out of this situation, but instead growled and snarled at them as they advanced on me and caught me. They put me in loose chains

"What should we do with it, your highness?" One guard asked. I growled and struggled. I was not an 'it'.

Marten eyed me carefully. He traced his finger over the tattoo on my face and finally said, "Chain it up in the stables. We'll figure something out tomorrow."

What was with all this 'it' stuff?! The guards seemed surprised at his judgement, but did as he commanded. The next thing I knew, I was being chained up in a small horse stall. They also put a net of chains over the door. I growled at them until they left.

"Finally," I grumbled, then changed to a house cat.

My tiny cat paws slipped easily out of the cuffs they placed on my lion paws. When I was out, I changed back to my hybrid form and released the door and the chain net. I walked casually out of the stable.

The dimwitted guards were too stupid to stand by the doors, in the event of their hostage breaking the chains and escaping. Unfortunately, there was one factor that even I couldn't get around. There was no way I'd be able to get back inside the castle, even in my domestic form, and the dungeon could not be accessed from the outside.

I growled viciously when I realized this, but I wasn't going back to the stables. So instead, I changed to my domestic form and ran to the town where I went to a dark alley and changed back. I sighed, put up my hood, and walked out into the streets.

---

Haha poor Nightfall. I have a plan for her, but I don't want to make this even longer, so I'll post it later. Maybe when we wrap up this day. In the mean time, Daybreak and Ana can run into her if Johnny doesn't. Daybreak would know her scent anywhere ;)

Ana

Just as Daybreak and I arrived in the city, a storm began. We hurried into the nearest building to stay dry and make a plan.

"This place looks familiar." I said as found ourselves in an warm, open room. But before I could think about it any more, I found myself face to face with someone very familiar.

"Ana, my darling!" Johnny slurred as he stumbled to meet us.

Daybreak took a step back from the drunken man as if he were contagious.

"You've been drinking." I said, ducking away from his alcohol filled breath.

He nodded and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Only a little." he assured.

Daybreak-

When we finally made it into the town, we wandered around until we came to a pub that looked promising. Unfortunately, all we found was that good-for-nothing Johnny. What are the odds? He stumbled around in a desperate attempt to reach us. Disgusted, and honestly a little frightened, I took a step back. Ana, however, stayed put, and caught him when he tripped and fell forward.

She looked back at me with a pleading expression on her face. I nodded and helped her drag him over to a table. We tossed him into a chair, then sat down ourselves.

"Johnny?" Ana asked. "Can you hear me?"

He leaned over the table and got right up in her face. "No," he said, with a stupid smirk on his face. "Ha! Just kidding!" He then flopped back against the back of the chair.

As he did so, he lifted a wine bottle to his lips. Angered by his stupidity, I ripped the bottle from his clutches and chucked it with all my strength outside, against a wall. The other patrons in the pub stared at me oddly, but I ignored them and sat back down. Johnny looked at me angrily.

"I was still using that!" He cried.

I got right in his face and growled viciously. He, too, growled a very pitiful growl right back. From any ordinary person, it would've surprised me. But not from this clown. Ana grabbed the collar of Johnny's shirt and pulled him towards her.

"This is serious," she snapped. "Have you seen Peter? Or Marten?"

Then, acting as he would if he were sober, he made an attempt at kissing her. He missed, of course, and she slapped him. Hard. I gasped at his incredibly stupid behavior.

"How dare you?!" She shouted.

He merely laughed. "Don't pretend you don't love me," he said.

My jaw dropped in shock. That idiot had really crossed the line this time. Ana's eyes burst into fire with rage and she punched him in the face, with great force, I might add.

"C'mon Daybreak. He's not going to help us," Ana said at last, and she started for the door.

"Wait!" I called after her. She whirled around, eyes still aflame. My ears flattened. "Maybe he could still be of help, when he's sobered up a bit," I said, putting a strong emphasis on 'sobered up'.

Ana seemed reluctant, but agreed. So I picked him up and we headed outside, towards an inn. Not willing to pay to get in, we crawled in through the window of an empty room. I threw Johnny carelessly on the bed, where he almost instantly fell asleep. Ana sat down and buried her head in her hands. I watched her sadly.

"It's not a lost cause," I told her. She looked up at me sadly. "We'll find him. I'm sure that Nightfall can lead us straight to him."

She looked back down. As if on cue, there was a tapping sound on the window. I looked over and there, on the windowsill, sat a black cat, with a yellow face, and a peculiar tattoo under her right eye. Nightfall. I hurried to the window and opened it. As soon as I did, she leaped into my arms.

I smiled. "I'm so glad you made it okay."

She morphed back quickly and jumped when she saw the bed. "Ah!! What is that doing here??" She asked quickly.

"We found it in a bar," I told her.

She nodded thoughtfully, then looked at Ana. "As for you," she said, pointing at her, "I have news. Lots and lots and lots of news."

After that, Nightfall proceeded to tell Ana about Peter, the general, and their parents. Ana listened in awe, wonder, and relief.

It's fine, Rayne. =) Also, I'm sorry for my lack of postage recently. I've been on vacation and it's been hectic. But I'm home now. =)

Peter

"You're my mother's brother." I stated, as if the general didn't already know. "You're my uncle."

General Raymond McNally nodded slowly, as if it was painful for him to aknowledge this.

"I don't expect anything from you." I said. "Well, not more than one thing."

"And what is that?"

"Tell me about my parents." As I said this I felt the tears come to my eyes. I had known them longer than Ana, I had actually had time to know them, yet I still felt as if I didn't. They had had an entire life before I had come along, an entire life that had hardly ever spoken about.

Ana

When Nightfall finished her story I couldn't speak, I could barely even comprehend all she had told me. It was so much. I had living family in this world besides Peter, and he was in this very city.

"Where is the castle?" I asked.

"The other side of the city." Nightfall said.

I glanced out the window, as if I would be able to see it right there. "And where is Peter?"

"The dungeon."

I nodded. Of course this had all been explained to me, but I was just now able to formulate a plan.

"Take me there." I insisted.

No problem ^^

Nightfall-

I grinned deviously. "Well, that shouldn't be hard. See, they caught me, and I escaped. Won't be long before they come looking for me. I have a plan formulated already. Now listen..."

I then told them all about my plan to get re-captured and thrown into the dungeon with Peter. And of course, how to get Ana and my sister in too.

Just before we left the inn, Ana took one last look at the drunk on the bed. "What about Johnny?" She asked.

"Ah, who cares?" I asked. "Come on."

We slipped out the window and wandered around until we found a couple guards. Daybreak and I killed them quickly and removed their armor.

"Now," I said, "Daybreak and Ana, put these on." They looked at the bloody suits of armor in disgust. I rolled my eyes. "Come on! How else do you plan on getting into the castle?" Finally, they agreed. When they were fully suited, we made our way to the castle and I hurried to the stables. "Now, go find some other guards and tell them to get Marten because the lion has escaped. They'll know what it means. When they get him, come back here. I'll pretend to run away, and I'll go slow. Chase me. Make certain it's you two that catch me, okay?"

Daybreak and Ana looked at each other curiously, but didn't argue. They put on the helmets and hurried towards the castle. I hid behind the stables and waited until I heard a crowd of guards coming towards the structure. They all hurried to the stall where they had put me. Ana and Daybreak were easy to spot. They were shorter than the others and their armor was ill-fitting. I smirked, but held back any more. As they stood there, wondering how I managed to escape, I stood right in the door of the stable.

"Oh boys!" I called out. They all turned their attention to me. "Lose something?" I asked.

I then gave them a full view of my tattoo. Marten gasped. "It's her! What kind of black magic is this?? Get her!"

I shot a look at Ana and Daybreak and they took off towards me. I darted away and ran at a slow, easily matched pace until they caught me. Through the eye holes in the helmet, I saw Daybreak wink at me. I hung loosely and let them drag me back to Marten.

"What are you?" He asked when I was propped up in front of him. He stuck out his index finger and slowly moved it towards my face. Before he touched me though, I snapped at it. He quickly pulled it away and glared at me. "Lock her up in the dungeon," he commanded. "And make sure she stays there."

Inside, I was leaping with joy. My plan worked perfectly, of course. Ana and Daybreak carried me out of sight, and when we were, I led them quickly to the dungeon.

Ray-

I stared at my nephew. "Alright," I said. "It's been ages since I talked about my sister to anyone, or vice-versa. But I remember her, clear as the day." I stared into the blackened distance as I recollected my memories of her. "She was the sweetest lady you could know. Incredibly selfless, always thinking of others first. She loved to laugh, to have fun. She was so carefree, and her spirit was one-of-a-kind. She loved darn near everything; animals, plants, people, even the tiniest bug. She was a real child of nature. Then, she was ready to have you," I said with a smile. Peter's eyes glistened with anticipation. "She was so excited, so ready to be a mother. Once, she and I were playing in the forest, and there was a foundling fox kit who had been left behind." A smile came to my face as I thought about it. "She raised that little guy up. He came back and visited every so often. White ear, she called him. You never saw a fox with ears so snowy white." I couldn't suppress a chuckle.

"And your father," I continued, my voice suddenly filled with admiration and respect. "What a guy. Such a strong willed, sensible man. Never a more suitable father. Never one more eager, either. He was so determined to give you the best life possible. You and your little sister," I said. My smile started to fade. "He was greatly honored in the elf village. My sister couldn't have picked a better husband. One of my best friends, he was. I dare say he always had quite the eye for your mother, and she for him. They were a match made in heaven, if I do say so. You were born to some great people. Or elves, rather. Tamus was such a great person. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss him like crazy. Your mom too." I paused for a minute and blinked back a tear or two. "What I wouldn't give to know what happened to them."

There was a long period of silence, and as Peter opened his mouth to say something, the door burst open. I stood up quickly and my thoughts raced as I tried to think up an excuse. But I didn't need to. Nightfall fell inside, followed by two guards.

"Nightfall!" I exclaimed. "Thank goodness you're okay!!" I sighed with relief, then looked at the guards. "Davis, Coleman, what are you doing?"

I got no response from either of my men. But then they removed their helmets, and I found that they weren't men at all. They were young women. One of them tossed her helmet aside and ran to Peter.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" She exclaimed as she tackled him with a hug.

Peter laughed quietly. The other was rather peculiar. She had ears, just like Nightfall. But they were white, and didn't look like cat ears. She quickly closed the door and hurried over to Nightfall. The cat looked at me.

"Ray, this is Daybreak, my sister. And...Ana." She pointed to the brown haired girl who was clinging to Peter.

"Ray...?" The girl asked quietly. She released Peter and looked at me.

I stared down at her in shock.

Ana

"He's our mother's brother." Peter said.

Nightfall had explained everything, yet this was all much too much to bear. I had to sit down against the stone wall to straighten everything out.

"You look just like your mother." Ray said, his voice was filled with sorrow.

I couldn't help but smile. To be told I even slightly resembled someone who looked somewhat like my mother could have been the biggest compliment in the world, this was even better than anything I could have ever been told.

We spent some time talking to Ray about our parents, and he helped Daybreak and I out of the armour. Everyone was content with the gathering in the dungeon cell. Even Nightfall had a smile hovering on the corners of her mouth.

"Well I ought to be going, Prince Marten will be wondering where I am if I don't return to him soon." Ray said.

I was sad that I had to let my new family leave my sight after only being with him for such a short time, but he had a good point.

"We'll be gone before you have a chance to return." Nightfall said quietly to Ray. She thought he would be the only one to hear, but I heard her too though I didn't protest any.

"I imagine you will be traveling towards the elf village deep in the woods." he said.

It was clear that Nightfall hadn't anticipated this response. She had a slightly shocked expression on her face.

"Surely Peter and Ana will want to be in the place their parents spent much of their lives. Surely they will want to go home."

Home. The words echoed strangely in my head. The farm was destroyed, but certainly we would be welcomed in the village our family called home. Certainly it could be our home too.

Okay then, I have a solution to your writer's blockages lol. How about this: When we escape from the castle, we can all run into each other.

In the meantime, Sophia (S), Mikael (M), and Mr. Wink (W) can stumble upon Luke and Dakota. If they're still being interrogated by Nye, then S, M, and W can save them. While there, M could secretly make a pact with Nye, turning him evil or whatever.

If she's not still there, then that's fine and dandy lol. And the four of us can run into you guys on our way to the village, so we'll all be together again. Sound good?

I didn't talk to either Mr. Wink or the vampire on the entire way.
I just stared right ahead.
Suddenly we heard a noise.
We walked towards it, and saw Luke and girl standing opposite each other.
It looked as if the girl was... evil...
