Let's start this back up, shall we? :D

Raymond McNally-

I walked slowly to the stables and collected my horse. Marten had assigned me to patrol for the entire day. Perfect. But, my devotion to my duty was reason enough to do it without complaining. On the way back to the castle, I found Marten coming into town, followed by his usual line of my guards. At the end of the line came a limp looking man, tied to the back of another horse. It was a rather pitiful sight, really. Behind him was a small black cat, which was why it baffled me. Usually there would be a guard, not a cat. While this was new, I blocked it out of mind and continued on my way to the castle.

When I got there, I watched as Marten escorted the young man inside and into the dungeon. Curious as to what he had done wrong, I confronted the prince about it.

"Um, your highness?" I asked him.

"Yes, general?"

"What did that young man do wrong?" I asked.

"He hasn't done anything. I have him here for safe keeping."

"Ah ha..." I said thoughtfully. "Mind if I go see him?" I asked.

Marten shrugged. "I guess not. But don't stay too long," he instructed.

I nodded. "Thank you, sir."

With that, I made my way to the dungeon.

Peter

I was roughly thrown into a cell in the dungeon and left alone. Even though Nightfall was lurking around somewhere, I felt hopeless. I still didn't know what had become of anyone else. Ana had hopefully escaped the house, but who knew if she was still alive now.

The thoughts of my family and friends hurt too much. I sighed and rested my head on my knees. It was the most comfortable position I could get into with my hands bound behind my back.

"Hello there." a mans voice said from the other side of my cell bars. I hadn't even heard anyone come down.

I looked up and saw the shadow of a man in the light. I squinted to try to see him better, but it was no use.

"Is there even more torture yet to be handed to me?" I asked.

"No one is here to torture you."

"I suppose that is because I nearly have nothing left to live for already."

The man grabbed a large key and opened the cell door. He came in and stood in front of me.

"Has to Royal Guard brought harm upon you?"

I shook my head. "Not to my body. But my home has been burned, my sister is possibly dead, and almost every one of my companions is unacounted for or in danger."

"I am sorry." The man watched me as if he recognized me, as if he knew me. His apology held much kindness, more than any regular soldier would have. "What came of your parents?"

"Dead for a good many years." I said quietly. "Now if you could stop dragging up such terrible memories and just leave me alone, that would be much appreciated."

You can keep it going from there Rayne.

After taking my fathers spear and gathering some other peices of equipment i was ready to go. Mr Wink appeared in the doorway all bristling muscle but now weilding a large spiked club.
"Come on my old friend. We have innocents to save."
"Yes Captain" bellowed Mr Wink. Captain, i thought sadly, no one had called me that in a very long time indeed. As we started down the hill i spotted Sophia sitting in the eaves of a fallen oak tree.
"Sophia," i said calmly. "We will return shortly with the others. There is a village down the road that will feed you until we return."
"You can't do this. You have to take me with you!"
"I'm sorry, its just not safe."

"I dont care what you say! The only actual friends i have are in danger! And i am going to help them, with you or on my own! I don't care!"

Mikael looked at me for a moment.

I jumped down from the tree. "So. What is it going to be?"

Whatever he was gonna say. I was determined to go and find my friends. I missed them already. Especially one person. It was like my heart was tearing apart. I couldn't breathe for a second and a tear slid down my cheek. I wiped it away quickly.

I gave her my best bad boy smirk revealing just a little fang.
"Alright then," i said giving her the best of my hypnotic charm. "I guess you can come with us."
"Thats better." She smiled obviously glad of the company.
"Wink keep an eye on her. We wouldn't want anything unfortunate to happen before she gets back to her precious Pyter." When i said his name it came out heavily accented. I sounded just my bitter father when we were in our native land.
I set off closely followed by Sophia and Mr Wink. As we neared a crest in the hill i could see smoke rising from a building in the distance. Oh my, i thought worriedly.

*Ok people i am slowly turning evil. No offense but a goody goody vampire just doesn't sit right with me.*

Ah. The scent of blood.

It clouded my thoughts for a moment, making me feel dizzy. My thirst was strong. My throat felt as though it had turned to sandpaper, it was so dry.

Giving in to temptation, I followed the scent greedily through the undergrowth of the forest, my crimson eyes scanning the forest floor hungrily. I knew that I was supposed to be tracking Luke, but blood was more important right now. The coven could take their little orders and shove them somewhere else for now.

I frowned slightly, straightening from my hunting crouch and sniffing the air curiously. Smoke filled my nostrils. Hmm. A fire? It mixed with the other delicious scent making it seem disgusting compared to its usual brilliance. Then, another two, more distinct scents. One was dusty and animal like, the second was human. The origin of the blood, I guessed.

With a wicked grin upon my face, I shot through the trees like a bolt of lightening, throwing myself up a tree, and peering out from the branches.

Voices. Two of them. Both familiar.

I tilted my head to the side, listening more intently.

"-It's not so bad," one voice was croaking.

"Don't be ridiculous! We have to get you-"

"No. I'm finding the others."

"But Luke-"

It was then my head snapped up. Luke. A vicious snarl rumbled from my chest instinctively. Greedy good for nothing peasant! My hand hovered over the Void Stone that hung from my neck, instantly calming me. No,[/b] said a calmer, clearer voice. [i]Not now. Reel him in first. Trick him.

I nodded as if the voice was a person in front of me, dropping from the tree and putting on my scared, innocent look as I stumbled from the trees.

There he was. Boy, he looked as if he'd been in a war. I had to contain a smile. Serves you right. Dakota was at his side, gazing up at him in worry as he tended a wound on his shoulder. I shuddered as the scent became stronger, clenching my fists in the effort not to pounce on him and drink the wound dry.

His dark haired head snapped around in alarm at my presence, but the look of pure shock on his face when he recognised me was priceless.

"N-Nye?" he stuttered, as Dakota stared blankly ahead as if she'd seen a ghost.

"Luke," I put on my best trembling voice, paired with my practiced crocodile tears. "I've finally found you!" I stumbled towards him, but already his eyes were roaming across me as he realised what I was. They flickered to his wound for a moment, before back to me.

"You're... a..." I could see him attempt to hide the momentary look of disgust. He shook his head, turning away and ruffling the back of his hair. "How...Who?"

"I don't know," I blubbered, even surprising myself at how convincing I sounded. "Don't turn me away, please... I promise I won't hurt anyone..."

"Get back from him!" snarled Dakota, as if suddenly catching on. "You left him long ago. Build a bridge and get over it!"

Luke flinched slightly, and turned again.

"I can't... I don't-" he cut off abruptly, running his hand nervously across his mouth. He shook his head with a sigh, just staring now.

I grinned internally. Gotcha.

Ray-

I frowned. I couldn't help but pity the young man. Much as I wanted to walk away, to leave him alone, as requested, I just couldn't. Something about him was just too familiar.

"I'm sorry to have bothered you," I said sincerely. He glanced up at me for a second, then back at the ground. "And I'm sorry to have reminded you of them. It's just that...you remind me of someone I knew a long time ago." The man looked at me curiously. "You remind me of my brother-in-law. I swear, you look just like him."

He nodded slowly. "I've been told I look like my dad."

I nodded too. "He and my sister died a long time ago as well."

"Coincidence," the man said bluntly.

I chuckled. "I suppose. Could I at least have your name?" I asked.

"Peter," he answered.

I stared hard at him. That face. That name. Peter... "Is your sister's name...by chance... Anabel?" Peter's eyes widened.

"Y-yes," he answered quietly. My heart skipped a beat. Now, a coincidence seemed highly unlikely. "How do you know that?" He asked quickly.

I looked at him. "My sister's children were Peter and Anabel," I responded. Peter fell back against the wall. I lowered myself onto a chair and sat there for a moment in silence. It couldn't possibly be... Now that 'time alone' seemed more needed than ever.

"I-I should go... Marten told me not to stay long. It was nice to..." I swallowed hard. "...to meet you, Peter," I said, standing. Peter nodded. I turned and left his cell, staring at the cobblestone ground, a million thoughts buzzing about in my head.

Nightfall-

I waited in the shadows until the armored man left. As he walked away, I squeezed through the bars of Peter's cell and stalked up to him. He was staring at the ground, eyes wide.

"How did he know me?" He asked himself quietly. "And Ana?" I morphed back to a hybrid and sat in front of him. He didn't look up.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

He didn't look up, or say anything. We both sat in silence for another moment or two. Finally, Peter spoke again. Or, moreover, whispered.

"Who was that?"

---

I know it's not much. I'll probably have Nightfall track Ray down and get some answers out of him at some point. If he doesn't talk to Peter again first ;)

"Whats that? Is it the farm?"
"No, I don't think so. The farm should be further away." Mikael answered and kept walking.
Mikael was acting weird. Lately there was always an evil grin on his face. It made my whole body shiver. He seemed so different from the person/vampire she had thought to know.
Mikael kept walking briskly, with Mr. Wink right behind him, and me having trouble to keep up.
"Mikael... Slow down please!" I begged trying to lift my once red dress which was now stained in dirt and riped.
However Mikael didn't. He carried on, as if he couldn't hear me.
"Mikael? Is everything OK?" I asked an a worried tone resting a hand on his arm.
"I thought you wanted to be with your Pyter as soon as possible." he spat in return cosing me to flinch and pull back my hand from Mikael's cool arm.
So much hatred. And I had once thought to know Mikael.

I was filled with absolute rage but i couldn't let it show. My breif outburst at Sophia made me feel ashamed until i remembered just who was the cause of my anger and greif.
"Mr Wink, would you be so kind as to give Ms Sophia a lift?" I spoke through clenched teeth before setting my face in a charad of comeradery. Mr Wink leant down and smooped Sophia up in his mighty fist before perching her in a most unladylike fashion on his shoulder.
"There now you can keep up." Once again Mr Wink and i set off at what would be an alarming pace for a human being, racing down the hill and speeding along the track as if it were a casual stroll in the park. As we ran i could feel my fathers spear digging in to my shoulder guard and rubbing uncomfortably. That spear was the key to defeating whatever forces were arrayed against Sophia and her precious friends. With it i could raise an army of the dead, levelling the playing field and giving them a chance to escape. All that is except Peter. I had a special plan for him. A most unforunate accident that would leave Sophia distraught and vulnerable. At which i would leave to her mourn and never see her again.
We reached what little remained of the farm in record time. All that remained of the once beautiful homestead was now ashes and ruins. I could hear Sophias sobbs from Mr Winks shoulder.
"You no cry." He said solemnly. "Me sure they ok. Me help look and see them."
I began searching around the area and discovered a single guard, obviously the victim of Dakota escape lying against a tree.
"Tell me," i whispered in my menacing voice from behind a tree. "Tell me where have they gone?"
"Th...they...they took a man, Peter, and a young lady away. The prince of Theives and his damned companion escaped. AS for any others i don't know."
"Thank you," i smirked steppng out of the dark. The gaurd drew a startled breathes mere moments before i sunk my fangs deep into his throat, revelling in his sobs and gurgles as he died. I cleaned myself and returned to the farm.
"Peter has been arrested and Johnny has escaped. Of there rest there is no word."

Mikael came back "Peter has been arrested and Johnny has escaped. Of the rest there is no word."
"Arrested?!" I asked in shock "Where are the others?" (here are they really?)
Mikael shrugged."We're gonna have to look for them don't we?"
Blood tricked out of the edge of his lip, and since vampires couldn't bleed, there was only one thing left.
"Mikael, can I talk to the guard you asked our friends about?"
"First of all their not my friends, but yours, Ms Sophia, and second, of course you can see, if you want to. You Can even talk to him, but I don't know if he will respond." Mikael responded, an demonic grin spreading over his face.
He didn't, he just couldn't... How could he be so cruel and then... to me?
I didn't get it anymore. Something in me exploded.
"What the hell is your problem? You have mental issues? At first you claim you love me and then you kill a human and tell me to go and look at him! What are you!? I thought I knew you! I thought you were a person I could trust! One of the good guy! What is wrong with you!"

"Whats wrong with me?" I shouted angrily. "I'll tell you whats wrong with me! Im a VAMPIRE, evil in a corpse and worse i thought i could love. Yes thats right love a human and what did i get in return. A sigh and a shrug. Then after that the first thing you want to do is rush to find your precious Peter. And so what if i killed a man! Its what vampires do."
"Yes but not you! And i don't know how i feel ok? You startled me with how you felt but now your just ... just" sobbed Sophia.
"Go on! Say it!" I spat. "Go on call me evil. You know you want to!"
