Johhny

"call me Johhny" I said wishing I had taken the cross from the vampire hunter too. Just in case. Mikael noticed me taking a step back.

"a bit of a coward then" Mikael said showing off his gleaming fangs.

"no" I said quickly and Mikael laughed. I didn't like feeling like I was being patronized and took a step forward so that I as standing in front of Mikael.

"I saved your life a vampire hunter was tracking you and I took him out he could of killed you if he wanted too and I hadn't stopped him." I said smiling

"I doubt that, even if this 'vampire hunter' actually exists" Mikael said and I felt I had to defend my liabillity.

"yeah he unconsious half naked in the middle of that field" I said smiling and looking Mikael in the eye defying him to go look.

"Johhny I thought you were only into girls" Melody said.

"I am I just stole his money and his suit" I said gesturing towards the suit I was wearing.

"Its nice" Mikael said.

"thanks so is your amour" I said he nodded in thanks before Hearing Peter and somebody else walk in.

"is that your brother and one of his friends" I asked Ana who Me and Mikael stood in front of she pushed past and looked at us.

"I'm not a child I can look after myself" she said and me and Mikael sihged at the same time.

"whatever dose your brother bring friends round" Mikael asked this time.

"Peter doesn't really have any friends" Ana said.

"I'd kill myself" I said thinking back to to the conversation I had had with Peter earlier.

"be quiet" Ana said and Melody pushed past as well.

"please" Melody said and I felt insulted Sophia followed pushing past.

"are we not allowed be heroic males around these girls or something" Mikael said as we walked on following the girls.

"no not really but I'm getting use to it" I said and Mikael nodded. when we walked down the stairs we saw Luke the king of theivs.

The prince nodded to me. "In a moment."

I waited patiently. I really just wanted everyone off of my property.

The prince eyed the other man. "I suppose we can pick this up at a more convenient time, and in a more convenient place." he said. "Meet me at the inn in town tomorrow afternoon."

The other man smiled mischeviously. "I wouldn't miss it."

The prince pulled himself into his horses saddle and galloped away, followed by his guards. I turned to the man by the barn. "Now who are you?" I asked him.

"The name's Luke and that's all you need to know." he said.

I sighed. "Fine." I turned and walked back towards the house, tired of everything that's happened.

"What," Luke called from behind me, "not even going to invite me in?"

For heaven's sake. I turned back to face Luke. "If you must stay, fine." Leaving him behind, I shooed the dogs back to the barn and walked back into my home while wondering how I was supposed to house yet another person in the small farm house.

I entered the kitchen with Luke right behind me. There were muffled voices and shifting feet coming from my bedroom.

"Just come on out, everyone. I know no one will be sleeping tonight." I said, tired.

Half a dozen people poured out of my bedroom. Ana, Melody, Sophia, Johnny, and a man I couldn't name all entered the kitchen. Daybreak and Nightfall also ran in from outside at the same moment and joined the crowd. Nine people, there are going to be nine people sleeping in this house tonight.

"Okay now." I held my hands up in front of me, everyone stopped. "How did Johnny get here and who is this?" I gestured toward the tall armorclad stranger.

" I am Mikael, Iron Knight of the Sanguine, righter of wrongs, defender of innocents ..." I was abruptly cut off by Johnny.
"He is an all around do gooder" said Johnny calmly.
"And a vampire" added Sophia impishly.
I look around and recognised Luke, the Prince of Theives.
"You!" I shouted diving at him and punching him in the jaw. "Where is my sword! Where is it you filthy rogue?!"
"Mikael what are you doing?" Gasped Sophia.
"This man robbed me of my sword many years ago."
"Yep" laughed Luke through a bleeding lip. "Got a girl roaring drunk, sprayed her with perfume and sent her out as bait."
"I couldn't resist and the wine in her blood left me with quite a headache. Now where is it?"
"I don't know. I sold it on straight away and used the money to escape the city." I growled menacingly baring my fangs.
"B...but im sure one of your boys can get it back. Right luke?" Asked sophia stepping between us.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

"Uh huh." I watched the two men wrestle on the floor for a minute before I had enough. I pulled them apart with a strength I wasn't quite sure I normally had. "Well while you two are in my house there will be no fighting."

The two stepped apart and stood on opposite sides of the room, which was rather difficult with the amount of people in there. The room seemed much much smaller with so many people in it too.

"Now, it's late, and I've had a busy day." I said. "Ana and Melody, go to Ana's room and go to bed this time please. Sophia you can head back to my room, and Daybreak and Nightfall you two are still in the guest room." I waited as the women all less than willingly left the room. "Okay, now for you guys." I sighed. We didn't have enough room. "I don't have any more beds, but you are all welcome to sleep in the barn. And if not, please get off my property."

I waited while the three men left in the kitchen decided on their plans.

--------
Lets skip ahead to the next day in the next post, okay? All this stalling on this one night is getting tiresome, especially for Peter.
--------

Ana

I woke up early the next morning and dragged Melody up with me. I owed Peter big time, and he had been in a very bad mood the night before with so many people around.

"We're going to make breakfast." I told Melody. "Peter doesn't need another thing to worry about."

Sophia

I woke up.
Early.
The birds were singing outside.
I stretched.
They were singing as if last night hadn't happened.
It all had happened so fast.
I met Ana, watched the prince get beat up, got invited to Ana and Peters place, by Peter, the cutest guy ever, my life savior, Mikael, a vamp, had showed up...
My head was spinning. As if I was drunk.
I got out of bed, fixed myself, and left Peters room.
When I opened the door a sent of bacon and eggs hit me.
I very seldom ate meat. Elf's didn't approve of it. I also didn't love it.
I followed the smell, and saw Ana and Melody, making breakfast.
"Good Morning." I said smiling. "Can I help?"
"We're almost done here. You could wake the guys..." Ana said.
Life isn't fair,
its just fairer than death,
that's all...

Nightfall-

I laid on the kitchen floor, still in my lioness form, after catching a boar at the crack of dawn for breakfast so that Ana didn't have to sacrifice one of her brother's pigs. Daybreak was sitting by the stove, drooling as the scent of bacon wafted about. I finished licking the meat off of one of the boar's legs just as Sophia wandered in. I picked up the bone in my massive jaws and sat up. Daybreak trotted over to me and we had a game of tug-of-war with the bone. After a bit, I released the bone, sending Daybreak tumbling backwards and barreling into Melody. They ended up in a heap on the floor. Melody laughed and scratched the tummy of a very excited wolf. I smiled mischievously at them. Daybreak quickly trotted over to the table where she jumped in a chair and morphed back into her hybrid form, eager for some breakfast. I stood and also changed back.

Curiosity overcame me when I saw Sophia's face as the scent of meat drifted towards her. She looked a little disgusted.

"Don't eat meat much?" I asked her.

She shook her head with an expression that said, 'I think I'm gonna be sick.'

I, on the other hand, and my hyper canine sibling, couldn't go a day without it. As carnivores, our lives were centered around the juicy, fulfilling substance. After a bit, one of the guys sauntered sleepily in, following his nose to the tender, mouth-watering scent that perfumed the air.

Mikael

While Johnny got comfortable on some hay, i wandered out into the night air. I threw my cloak off and ran out into the night. It was nice to be able to get out in the dark. Sunlight didn't kill us but it did leave us with one hell of a headache. I wandered into the trees around the farm and started running laps of the farm as fast as i could. Let the humans have their hours of sleep. I would keoo quiet watch, their silent guardian in the darkness. I ran until dawn before grabbing a snack of warm bird blood. I returned to the farm and wandered into the front room.
"Good morning and many thanks for the barn. I haven't slept so well in years."
"Sleep? You can't fool me." She giggled. "You were the strange figure running laps all night."
If i had been alive i would have blushed but as it was i simply bowed my head and grabbed a stool.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

Hope Ana can be the she you were reffering to, skull. If not, I can change.

Ana

"Sleep? You can't fool me." I giggled. "You were the one running laps all night long."

I had giggled. I don't giggle. I'm a theif. Theives don't giggle. Something is becoming seriously wrong with me.

I looked around the kitchen as I finished breakfast. Peter was looking happier, and was busy exchanging glances with Sophia. I rolled my eyes and started setting plates of food in front of everyone. It was nice having so many people in the house, even if Peter didn't like it. It made it feel like mother and father were back with us. They would always let anyone who needed stay.

Tears came to my eyes as I remembered my parents. I quickly brushed them away though, hoping no one had noticed.

Ah, thanks :)

Luke

I burst into the kitchen with a good night's sleep under my belt, glad that tonight I wasn't sleeping in a tree. Dakota was eating at the table with the others, and looked up as the door slammed against the other side of the wall.

Lifting some bread off the table, I broke a bit off and ate it, watching the vampire speaking to Ana as I leaned offhandedly against the wall.

He looked up at my entrance, scowling as he pointed a thumb in my direction. "You. Outside. Now. I want a word."

I grinned deviously. "Even better for you, my friend, I'll give you two. Make. Me.
Dakota snorted halfway through gulping down some water, spilling it over the table.

"Sorry," she muttered sheepishly, clamping her beak shut afterwards.

Mikael stood, his jaw clenched tight. "Tell me where that damn sword is!"

I shot a glance at Ana. "That's no way to speak in front of a lady," I chuckled. Next, Mikael took it a step further by jabbing his finger into my chest.

"I believe swearing in the presence of a lady is one of the hundreds of charges you're up for, including theft and murder," he sneered, as there was a collective gasp within the kitchen.

My eyes narrowed. "I'm no murderer, leech. At least I don't suck people dry of blood, probably like what you'll do to her," I whispered furiously, jabbing a finger in Ana's direction.

My muscles tensed, ready for a fight. This time, I wouldn't be the one with a split lip. If he dared to make a move I'd have him on the end of my sword.

Johhny.

I walked into the kitchen to see Mikael and Luke at each others throats. I walked past the snarling pair and took a seat at the table.

"never a dull moment" I said genrally to the room. Peter looked as if he was about to burst.

"don't worry their just like most people all talk " I aid not really thinking that They could her me.

"want to say that again mate" Luke said taking his attention away from Mikael for a bit I waved it away.

"never mind dosen't matter carry on your threats" I said and tore off a piece of bread that I stuffed in my mouth. Peter went and calmed the two down who then sat across from each other a glowered.

"do you have to put up with him everyday" I said to the bird but Ana who was behind it though I was talking to her.

"stop taking your whatever out on Peter your just jelouse he has a group of people that love him" she said and I frowned.

"actually I was talking to the bird, I like Peter" I said and the bird turned and lowered at me.

Sophia

Mikael and Luke were about to get into a fight.

I stared horrified.

And this Johnny guy just made things worse.

"What a jerk." I thought.

Peter calmed them down again, and my gaze returned to my plate. I stared at the bacon, as if I wanted it to evaporate or disappear or something.

"Whats wrong?" Peter asked. "Are you OK?"

"Yeah. I'm fine." I answered, poking my fork into the egg.

Mikael grinned, "She hates meat. Obviously you don't know each other for very long."

Peter looked up, but said nothing.

I got all my courage together, and stuck a piece of dead pig in my mouth.

I tried to swallow. But I couldn't. I felt like I was going to puke.

"Are you OK Soph?" Ana asked concerned.

I nodded, jumping up running to the bathroom.

Someone followed me, holding my hair out of my face.

"Better?" Peter asked.

"Mhum...".

The others were standing in the doorway, but I couldn't keep my eyes off Peter.

"OK guys. Give her a second." Ana said firmly, pushing all of them out of the door.

I fixed myself.

Ana smiled. "Peter really likes you."

"I like him too..."

Suddenly we heard a commotion outside again.

"Oh what in heavens sake is happening now!?" Ana complained annoyed.

"Probably fighting..." 'Over you' I added in my thoughts.

We rushed out of the bath, seeing Luke and Mikael fighting on the ground, screaming.

"Not again, I frowned."

Ana

"Stop this right now!" I yelled. I heard Peter let out a rush of air, he had just been about to do the same thing. I walked over to where Luke and Mikael lay frozen on the ground. "This is no way for two grown men to behave." I scolded. "Now you can either handle yourselfs in a civil manner or get off our property."

"Yeah, Ana!" Johnny cheered.

I gave him a look and he immedeatly shut up.

"Now, we will all go back inside and eat out breakfast." I said. "And you two," I pointed at Luke and Mikael, "will go outside until you settle things or leave."

I ushered the two men outside and sat back down at the table. The anger boiled inside me, I felt like Peter must have felt since this all started.

"Thank you." he whispered to me. When I looked back to him he was back to staring at Sophia. I couldn't help but smile. It was cute.

Daybreak-

My tail swished gently back and forth as I looked from Sophia to her plate and back again and back again in an endless cycle. When she became conscious of my actions, I noticed that she stared intently at my left eye. She acted as though she had never seen blind eyes before, or, in my case, just one.

I blinked and she immediately looked at her lap, her face quickly turning red. "I - I'm sorry. I didn't mean to stare. I know it's rude..."

I laughed. "That's alright." I leaned towards her quickly. She jumped, a little freaked out. "I'll eat it, if you don't want it." My tail was wagging furiously.

Sophia directed her plate at me. "Please do."

I snatched the bacon up in a flash and it was immediately in my slobbering mouth. I smiled and closed my eyes in satisfaction. I could never survive without meat. The same went for Nightfall. Speaking of which...

Nightfall was staring almost...hungrily at Luke's bird. My eyes widened in fear.

"Nightfall, don't you dare..." Her yellow and green eyes narrowed the slightest bit as I spoke. "She's not wild; she belongs to a friend. She is a friend. Don't. Try. It."

She growled quietly and turned away from the bird, Dakota. She nodded to me gratefully.

A loud thud was heard outside, followed by some pounding noises. No one seemed to hear them though, except for Nightfall, Dakota and I. Nightfall stood up slowly and her ears twitched maddeningly, as did mine. We looked towards a window. The others watched us curiously. They were oblivious to the noises we were hearing. All of a sudden, Luke went sailing past the window, and in a second, came sliding back into sight. Mikael jumped at him, and they were gone again.

Nightfall and I both changed our forms and darted outside. They were both bruised and bleeding, but they could fight with no problems. Annoyed, Nightfall and I ran in and we each tackled one of them. Mikael and I went tumbling away from Nightfall and Luke. She landed on her paws a little ways away from him. Luke laid out in the dirt, a little stunned, but otherwise unaffected by the impact. Nightfall changed back and sat next to his head.

He glanced up at her and sat up immediately, looking a little embarrassed. His face was a little red. She watched him and smiled deviously. Dakota flew out and landed on his shoulder. I stood and trotted away from the fallen vampire. He sat up and rested his head on his hand. The others were standing in the doorway. Ana and Peter looked on disapprovingly. Sophia looked a little worried. And Johnny appeared to be enjoying it.

"Ah, c'mon!" He called to us. "Why'd you stop the show?"

Nightfall and I glared at him viciously.
