Hinata
When I woke up I knew immediately where I was. A hospital. ‘Great.’ I thought. As I began to sit up, my chest felt like it was just going to collapse, I winced for a second before looking down and getting a proper look at myself; my torso was covered in bandage. I had only used that power twice before but the outcome had never deserved so much bandages. I wondered what damage had been done under them. I raised my arms and looked at them. I winced; there was a needle in one of my wrists. Sighing I began to tug it out and once I had managed that I started getting up and, steadying myself on the bed found my footing and began to look for my clothes. It was a slow process but I eventually managed to get dressed. At that point I just wanted out of that place, it reminded me too much of that day. I opened my room door and looked out onto the corridor; no one was there, ‘Safe.’ I thought as I gently padded towards the wall map. Once I memorised my way out I set off, trying to keep my movements as natural as possible and keeping my face impassive, something I was good at, I walked towards the elevator. I pressed the button. I waited for the lift to come and once the door opened I stepped aside to let the people out, careful not to make eye contact with anyone. Once I thought everyone was out I went into the elevator and pressed the ground floor button. I waited as patiently as possible for the elevator to get to its destination and once it did, when I went out of it I walked into someone, Deacon. “Hinata?” he asked, “You’re better?”
He looked slightly confused. I didn’t want to stay in that place any longer, “yeah.” I said, looking him straight in the eye; he seemed to believe me.
“Well, if that’s the case,” He yawned, “before you leave, you’ve got to visit some people.”
I scowled at him, “NO I don’t,” I stressed, “I’m fed up with-“
He smirked at me evilly, “oh,” He said, “you will be coming. I will drag you there myself if I have to.”
I sighed, “Fine, let’s get this over with.”

"Ever been to Central Park before?" I said with a grin as we walked across the endless fields of grass, the sun smiling down on all the people who lay out on beach towels on the grass.
"No, I haven't yet. It's really nice here," Jackie replied, gazing around herself as the sound of sweet music came to our ears.
I looked around to meet the source of the music; a girl sitting by a tree, playing a flute. She looked up slightly from the silver instrument but returned to her playing.
"Let's sit here," I suggested, as we sat by the grass. The girl shot us a glare, and I flinched back slightly. What was her problem anyway?

Asuka

I looked back at them before i resumed playing my flute. My sister taught me how do to this as a way to kill time while she work in the temples and talking by the council.

They were chatting numerously and for short moments they would looked at me each time i made a new rhythm. I shot a look at the girl, Peyton, i think her name was and wondered if she is one of them. If it was, then this day would be amazing but then again, i'll be taking a break.

I do love to track more but i can't be bothered. Besides i still need to return to my research and check if shape-shift boy was awake if not then i'll walk around the city.

"That's a very beautiful music you are playing." i open my eyes and saw that they were looking at me a bit frightened and afraid to reach out.

i gave a shrug, "Was not surprise by the way you're staring at me for...Was is it for you?"

"Oh nothing," they felt surprise, "its just beautiful."

"Thanks for the comment" i said trying to quickly end this conversation. I hate to be disturbed especcially when playing the flute.

"My...My name's Peyton." she ask. The other girl beside her wanted to say her name but i can tell that she cannot do it.

"Asuka..." i say calmly giving her a chuckle "Asuka hiruna,".

I resumed my playing suspiscious that Peyton could be one of them. But then again, i'm on break, i only hunt on duties.

I was at central park with Peyton. She seemed pretty nice.

When we sat down on the grass there was this weird girl. Asuka I thing her name was. She played the flute so beautifully, that my mouth fell open with awe.

After a while we got up.

"Lets go somewhere else. We don want to cause any more disturbance." Peyton said in a firm voice. The girl... Asuka... looked up. Annoyed.

I completely agreed with Peyton about that fact, and we moved on.

"Are you into art by any chance?" Peyton asked.

I was distracted. I could feel Asukas stair in my back.

"Uhm. What did you say??"

Peyton laughed, grabbed me by the arm and dragged me on.

I shot a short glance backwards. Asuka was staring after us. Smiling.

Gale~

After a couple of hours of sleep I woke up, and wasn't as loopy as I was earlier. The lights and things waved at me, I waved back

"Gale who are you waving at?" Jack asked.

"That wheelchair. . .it keeps staring at me. . .it's freaking me out." I whispered while never looking away.

"Um I don't think all of that medicine wore off yet." some random girl muttered.

I figured her and the other guy were part of my imagination, so didn't pay attention to them. This was so boring just sitting in the hospital bed, and lying down. . .That's when I remember about Alucard! I bolted right up, wincing as I felt pain in my arm.

"What's wrong Gale?" Jack asked concerned.

"What ever happened to Alucard? And his brother?"

"Who?" he asked.

"The guy who saved me. . .sort of. It was kind of his fault I got into this mess but yeah." I started to ramble on.

"What do you mean?" the guy from my imagination asked. . .I'm starting to get the feeling that he or the girl wasn't from my imagination.

"Well I was walking home from school, when I noticed I was being followed, so I ran off. And went into an alley, and then attacked the guy when he came around, but then his brother came out and knocked me out. I woke up in the apartment, and then that guy came out of no where and attacked us. Some how we ended up outside, I tried to fight him and then you came along. . ." I finished.

"So why was he following you?" the guy asked, he reminded me of one of those detectives off of C.S.I.

"He wanted to know what I know about those teens disappearance. And then he wanted to talk to you Jack." I said as we looked at him.
"Why don't we let Peeta claim it, since he died today?"-Finnick (Catching Fire)

Naomi-

We all listened intently as Gale recited her story. Somehow these two guys that abducted Gale were involved or trying to solve the dissapearances of certain teenagers. Those "hunters" must be involved too. I looked at Jack.

"Do you know what she's tlaking about?"

"I remember two other guys who were fighting that hunter, but I only saw them briefly when I caught Gale. That was when the fight was taken to the alley."

"When Gale is better and the meds have worn off, we should probably try and find these two," said Deacon.

"The sooner the better. One of the hunters was taken here as well and I saw that girl we were fighting earlier," said Jack. I shuddered as the picture of Asuka flashed in my mind.

"I saw her too and I have a feeling she saw me as well. Jack's right, we need to leave soon," I said.
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

**Well, Deacon seems to have got himself into two places at once, so I'm just going to try to justify that quickly...**

Deacon

He nodded, if there were hunters in this hospital, whatever their intentions, they needed to leave soon. "Sounds like a plan. But can you guys just wait a few minutes first, there's someone else I need to check on. She's in as much danger as the rest of us, and if Gale's not going to be in, uh, perfect health for a little while, I think we can wait until Hinata's feeling fine as well."

A few people nodded, and Deacon left the room a second later. Already knowing what room Hinata was in, Deacon went straight to the elevators, the doors to one opening just as he got there. By sheer fluke, Hinata came walking out of the lift, and went straight into Deacon.

"Hinata?" He asked, surprised, "You're better?"

She looked him straight in the eye, as if daring him to challenge her claims of good health, "Yeah."

He believes her, especially after what he'd seen her do. But out of the corner of his eye, he could see someone who'd been leaning against a wall, waiting for elevators that had already come and gone a few times. A hunter? Deacon yawned, trying to appear disinterested, "Well if that's the case." He said, "Before you leave, you've got to visit some people."

"No I don't," she growled, "I'm fed up with-"

He grinned, trying to seem more casual than he felt with that suspicious guy standing over there, "Oh, you will be coming. I'll drag you there myself if I have to."

"Fine," she sighed, "Let's get this over with."

He nodded, leading her back towards Gale's room. He felt somewhat vulnerable, he'd had to check his bag in when he'd come in, so he didn't have his swords anywhere close to within reach. And now things were looking like he might not be able to just go and get them back.

"There are hunters about," Deacon murmured as they walked, "We think they know we're here, and we need to be ready to leave as soon as Gale's ready to go."

"Who's Gale?"

"Shapeshifter girl, she was in the fight before we got there." He grinned a little, "Hope you're up for a great escape,
because it might come to that."

Asuka

I look again at the two girls who had asked me earlier. Heh, pathetic, i should have captured ehr but again i was preoccupied with my instrument. I'll do it later besides i got her scent. I might track her sooner or later.

As well with wolf boy, i need to get him. More collection for me.

I went back to my apartment after i got a snack and change my clothes to something comfortable. Shape-shift boy is still sleeping but i'll fixed him out.

I tied him to a chair inside the chair with my chain around him just in case he'll attack me.

I prepared the instruments for phase two bfore i looked at a photograph by the corner. I took it out and stare at the picture of my younger self and my sister before a temple. It's been memories since i last saw her. I wonder how is she doing right now...

"Don't worry," i tell myself, "...I'll promise to follow you." before i started my experiment. THis is going to be long night and a painful one for the kid.

I went inside the chamber and started phase 2.

Hinata

When we went into the shape shifters room, Naomi rushed over and cried, “Hinata, are you O.K?”
I gave her a hard look and she faltered, I stepped around her and looked out of the window, “Hey!” the girl in the bed said, “Naomi just wanted to know of you were alright.”
I continued to look out of the window, the bandages around me were too tight and I was finding it harder to breath normally by the minute. I turned around to find a girl scowling at me. “You are Gale?” I asked quietly.
“Yeah.”
“That man over there, he is your brother?”
“Yes, what are you gett-“
I cut her off. “Do you know what happened to him?”
She nodded. I sighed, “Then don’t you think it is strange that he isn’t at least attached to a drip let alone conscious?”
She stared at me wordlessly. I turned and looked out the window. “I didn’t heal your brother, but i did take your brothers pain away and endured it myself.”
From the reflection on the window, I saw her head bowed. She looked ready to cry. “Deacon,” I said.
Deacon looked at me from his chair. “I’m going to go and wait outside; there are too many people in this room.”
As I passed by him to get out, he stood up and stopped me, “What’s your problem?” he asked.
I stepped to the side in an attempt to get past but he said, “You’re staying here. Naomi, would you get Hinata a seat?”
When Naomi came back with a seat, Deacon pushed me on to it. As that was happening another visitor came in. It was a tall man with messy black hair. His skin was unnaturally pale. “Alucard!” Gale Shouted happily, “you’re here!”
“Yeah.” He said, scanning the room.
My mind flashed back to the tall man that had broken into our house. This wasn’t the same person; but his skin, their skin was exactly the same colour.
I felt rage; rage like I had never felt before. I could see that Deacon could see it in me. I didn’t care. Short of knocking me out, there was nothing anyone could do to stop me from killing that demon. “You,” I spat, “are a vampire.”
Alucard just stood and looked at me sorrowfully. My stomach and chest really hurt, not only with physical pain, but also there was an ache in my heart as I remembered my parents’ dead bodies. I felt nothing but pure regretful pain and volcanic anger. I forgot who I was. I lunged at the vampire and, as quick as lightning he sidestepped me and I landed on my stomach. I coughed up blood, pain over-whelming my anger. I mentally lashed out at Deacon when he came over asking, “What brought that on?”
Whimpering, I slowly and painfully retreated from the group and backed into a corner. “What is wrong?” Deacon asked.
I sobbed quietly, “ten years ago, my life was ruined by a vampire.”
Alucard stepped forward, “Is your surname ‘Noshi’?”
I nodded.
“I heard what happened to your family and was horrified, However not all vampires and dhampirs are like that.”
Deacon looked at Alucard and asked, “What happened?”
“That is not for me to say.”
“Hinata?”
I shook my head and rocked myself back and forth.

Theo

We ambled around the busy streets aimlessly, sipping our coffees and shielding our eyes from the blaring sun that smiled upon New York. Violet talked to me about everything; about her family, friends, and most interesting, her music.
"So you can play piano then?" I asked.
"Well..." she went a little red, hiding a grin from me by turning her head towards the opposite side of the street. "Kind of. I can play a little guitar too."
"I'm sure you're just being modest. I'd love to hear you play sometime. Maybe I can join in."
She looked up at this, a sparkle of intrest in her eyes. "You're musical too?"
I nodded, taking another sip of the hot drink dispite the scorching heat. "Guitar only though."
"That's awesome," she grinned, finishing the rest of her coffee just as my phone vibrated in my jeans pocket.
"Excuse me a sec," I said, stopping and producing my phone, squinting as the light reflected off the screen.
One new message: Hunter
I pushed the centre button to open the message, glancing up to check if Violet was watching.
I've got a new assignment for you. Get Asuka and head over to the hospital you were in earlier. There is a certain teen there I need you to capture ALIVE. Her name is Hinata, and she is Japanese. She is weakened, so her mental power should not give you much bother. This is all the information I can give you. You better not screw this up Theo.
I knashed my teeth together, a deep frown creasing my forehead. Stupid old man, I thought to myself, shoving my phone back into it's pocket roughly.
"Violet, I'm sorry but something has come up, I'll have to take off here. But to make up for it, can I take you to dinner?"
Violet stammered a few times, before saying, "I'd like that."
"Great. I had fun today. I'll pick you up on Monday at around eight." I smiled and winked, while she turned a shade of crimson.
I left her there, following my Sense to Asuka. She was in Central Park by the looks of things. I had to get her quick; we didn't have much time.
And I wasn't going to screw this up again.

ALUCARD~~

I sighed and flopped into a chair. The vampire that had killed her family had ben truly evil, and had met a truly unfortunate fate at my hands.

"If its any comfort, he was killed three weeks after your parents death."

She looked at me, "Who killed him?"

I shrugged, "No Idea."

Gale spoke up, "Where's your brother?"

"Running a perimeter around the building. He'll be here in five minutes."

Gale~

I was so happy that Alucard and Triston was alive. I tried not to pay attention to Hinta crying, she seemed like the type of person who felt crying was a sign of weakness. I looked out the window of where she was once stood. What did she mean she took Jack's pain? I never heared of a race that could do that. "So what do we do?" I asked, trying to get my mind off of that.

"Well we are all going to eventually become the hunters targets." Deacon noted. "So I guess we should work together on this."

"Good idea." Naomi agreed.

"So is that girl who kept healing one of us. . .or is she one of them?" I asked trying to figure who are friends and who are foes.

Before anyone could respond Alucard looked up. A couple of seconds later me and Noami could here it to.(My wolf ears under my hat Noami super sense) It was faint, but it sounded as if someone was running, Triston appeared out of no where "There coming." he informed as his face turned serious.

When I heard that whoever was after us was coming, I got up and wiped my face with my t-shirt and the bandages underneath it were revealed for a moment. “Hey!” Gale said, “Hinata you’re in no state to walking around if you have that many bandages on!”
“What?” Deacon said in disbelief, “Hinata, you lied to me!”
“That doesn’t matter now because we have to get out of here” I sighed.
Alucard looked up at the group, “She’s right. We can’t let innocent people get hurt; we need to choose where we meet our opponents. We can’t allow a fight in this hospital.”

I looked at him observing his dull eyes as the pink light flash around the chamber. He is no lobger concentrating and he is simply following my voice.

"Tell me, how did you discovered that you were able to do this?" i asked gently waiting for his answer.

"When i was lost on a mountain track," he responded and i took down some notes. After this test, will come the real part of phase 2.

I continued this for a moment when the door bursted out and Theo came in.

"What had happened to knocking? Do people do this now?" i said in sarcasm a bit pissed off that i was disturb.

Theo looked at the boy before he told me to go with him.

"I'm busy here!I'm in a middle of an experiment, Theo!"

"Hunter called us. We've go anotehr target."

"Now? Why? Ha, don't tell me he's afraid that you're going to be beaten again..." i chuckled as i let the boy be dazed for a moment putting some food by the corner and telling him to eat after half an hour.
I walked tohim and we went off.

"who's the victim..."

"A girl name Hinata. Do you know her?" he said but it did not took me long to remember the Japanese by the crowd whom i met. I grinned to myself as i silently track her down.
"Just be preapred," i said again, "I bet we're in for a fight."

Hinata, with the help of Deacon, was led out first. I went down to the desk with Alucard to check everyone out.

"Where will we go? New York is not the best place to fight at all."

"Don't know yet. We'll come up with something."

I didn't like the sound of that, but I couldn't argue. I was too scared to do much. Alucard filled out everything so that Gale, Hinata and Jack could be moved.

"We ready?" Decon came up and asked.

"Yeah. Let's go," said Alucard. We walked out of the hospital, everyone on their guard.

"Do you smell it?" Alucard asked Triston. His brother nodded, but we continued walking forward. I closed my eyes, trying to concentrate on any sound above the crowd of people in the parking lot. What I heard was the last thing I expected. A flute.

Don't aim at success--the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one's dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself.
