Black Tooth Wolves

This one was SO much easier than the Yellow Hill wolves! Thank God! Lol. The sketch took longer, but the coloring and clean-up took only three hours, instead of five Here's the wolves:

Bottom from left to right:

Sting, Kayla, and Lark

Second row from left to right:

Toxin, Hera, and Talon

Bors and Ghost



Me! Lol: Drawing Sting was quite the challenge, and I have no idea where I could've possibly gotten her markings, but I did it n_n And Toxin was pretty easy. Haha...he doesn't approve of fun XD The fur on his back makes him look kinda like a shark lol

ThefireinmeisJC: Kayla was relatively easy. The sketch wasn't, but the coloring was I'm not sure where I got the blue eyes, but I hope they're okay *she's smiling, btw *

Phantom of the potter: Lark was probably the hardest, and she was really easy I think her muzzle's a little...disproportionate, and I apologize for that

Chupatosta: Hera and Talon were a lot of fun n_n I think that, next to Bors, Talon turned out the best. I'm really pleased with how his face turned out Hope you like them!

Ridersofdamar: Haha Bors and Spike were probably the easiest, next to Ghost. I'm really happy with the way Bors turned out, but I'm less than pleased with Spike He's really creepy looking Lol I hope he's okay

Chinchillagirl_34: I don't think you specified what color Ghost's eyes were, so I just made them yellow. I hope that's alright He was fun. The coloring was easy, but the sketch was surprisingly difficult. *he's smiling, btw *

Well, I hope you guys like this picture as much as I do! I prefer it to the Yellow Hill picture actually, but that's just me Enjoy! n_n

Ah!! Rayne I love it soooo much! This is amazing! Haha, it's funny how Cana, Bane and the wolf above Bane almost blend in with each other, but you can still tell them apart.

Ah, I love Hera and Bane the most though, mainly because they're mine. Haha!

Also, to me this is a masterpiece, because no matter how much I study and practice the wolf's anatomy I CANNOT get it down. In other words, I suck at drawing.

Haha I never studied wolf anatomy, and I still don't quite have it down. I get it a lot that I need to work on it Not that I disagree, but...yeah lol.

not too bad, here are a few suggestions

1. I think you should shade ^_^ It will look a lot cooler

2. try to draw the wolves in lots of different poses. There were too many wolves facing sideways (Kinda boring)

3. try to not make their snouts too large and long.



Last thing My favorite wolf was the green and black one. He looks so COOL! >_<

Hi there! Pretty nice art here!
But I noticed some "problematic" stuff around here, just some polishing you need to do:

1) You know that some of your wolves paws look like horse's paws? Spike is the worst one. Look at his position, he looks like a horse! The paws are one of the worst points you have badly work in this.

2)Directions of movement. Try to make different ones. It makes the drawing much more interesting and artistic. Lots of the wolves are in a profile position. Try to variate those.

3) Faces. Wolves faces are normally a little more big and chubby and their hair is very volumos around the face. These Black Tooth Wolves don't look like...wolves...more like dogs (and even cats... ) Ghost looks like a cat. His face is very thin and it doesn't look strong and powerful at all.

4) Stink and Lark. Sting looks like a fox. Lark looks like terrier. Wolves friend! Where are they?

5)Toxin. mY favorite. It doesn't look like a real wolf but it's expression is incredible. It matches him perfectly and it's position is very good! Although, the colours aren't very real it looks very good!

6)Spike. Is he blind or what?!? Is that an eye? I know I'm being harsh but you have lots of potential and you need to polish it to make the most of it! He needs to look more natural and realistic....

I get that a lot about the paws - that they look like hooves. Could somebody please explain that?! I've always drawn my paws like that, and I still don't see how they are hoof-like!!! I tried to make them look like paws, but every time I try something new, people tell me they look like hooves!! HOW?!?!

Yes, I agree about the shading ^^ I've shaded a couple pictures, and I agree, they look really cool I'm working on one last one of these, so I'll shade that one

I would TOTALLY draw them in different positions, it's just that they look like felines from the front and they look totally retarded at an angle, like Ghost is. I know his face looks small, but it's really because he's at an angle and since he's so dark, you can't see the lines.

Sorry about the pups I know they didn't turn out so good. They were hard >< That's probably saying something, huh? Like: "I tried really hard and they still suck" Lol

No, Spike is not blind. He has a scar over that eye. It's probably a little too pink, huh? His eye is just closed. Originally, it was open, but it looked even worse, so I just made it closed.

Haha! Toxin is winning! Lol. He's mine n_n Lol yeah, his expression is perfect. Amazing how you knew that and you don't know his background :shocked: Lol I guess it isn't hard to figure out, though. I think he's really the only one who fits in with the pack's nature here. I think I went a little too soft with them ^_^' If Lido and Viking were still alive, they'd fit in too *gasp! spoiler! my bad! *

Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH for using the names to describe the wolves, not their colors! You read the description! Yay! Lol
