Yellow Hill Wolves

Finally! After 2 days and 5 hours of tediousness, it's finally done! This is the Yellow Hill pack from the storybook I'm in called 'Black Tooth vs Yellow Hill'. I've started the sketching of Black Tooth and I'll work on it this week. Okay, here's the wolves:

I left one wolf out: Tiron. Only because he's been inactive this entire time and I think his name has only appeared once. He's in the sketch and paper lineart, but I took him out of here.

Moo: Sorry Lhuna and Zodiak aren't nearly as detailed as they are in your reference pictures. Hope this is okay though!

Lauren2010: W.O.W. Cana was one of the two most difficult wolves. By far!!! Hope she's okay I pretty much had to freestyle everything except the head and face O.o

phantom of the potter: Originally, when I first made him, Storm was pretty difficult. But I used my original ref that I made of him, so I hope this lives up to your idea of what he looks like A lot of people I showed this to thought he was adorable n_n

Me! : Haha Rayne was simple. I color her all the time, so she was no problem at all n_n

sylverdawn: Nightstar was easy, obviously. The hardest part was trying to figure out where that little white patch should go

Billy: UGH. TIER. The other hardest one!!! I know he doesn't look a thing like the reference, and I apologize for that. But he took me like 10 minutes X.x He's glaring at Zodiak, not Lhuna XD And Ossal, well, I know he's supposed to be white, but the ref didn't look straight white, so I made him very light gray. I hope that's alright Btw, he's not flying. He's leaping XD Or, the spirits could be lifting him up lol. I dunno. However you want to interpret it is fine

Chinchillagirl: I hope Leo lives up to your standards! She was fun Sorry that she's a little...disfigured. I tried to fix her, but it didn't work out so well XP

Chupatoasta: Heh heh...I think Bane was probably the easiest I hope it's okay that I made his ears gray That's how they were in the ref.

Well guys, I hope you like it! It took a VERY long time! And now, I am dead X_x *dies* Haha. If they don't look anything close to what you had in mind or what you thought your wolf should look like, please feel free to chew me out ^_^ Lol. I hope you guys like it!!!

OMG Rayne! You are so awesome! Zodiak and Lhuna look great, it's something shocking how you got their markings all correct

Wow, this is amazing Rayne! And yeah, I got the feeling Bane would be one of the easier ones. To me, this is amazing considering the fact it would take me like two months just to get the lineart right with a drawing like this. Haha, anyway, this is so cool!

I like how you made it look like she kind of begging! You even got part of the diamond on her head right!!

Hey Rayne! June here!

These are pretty cute! (I'll have to check out the storybook as well). The one with the grey and yellow in the middle is the cutest.

Watch your wolf legs! Legs are jointed, so, they don't curve like the letter C; rather, they have a bend, not as sharp as the letter L, but the legs here look a bit floppy.


It's really hard to draw more than one animal in one photo, especially so close together. Great job on this; keep it up!

Now, I'm curious about the storybook. Seems interesting.

Ahh, I can't wait till the Black Tooth wolves come out. So many odd colors there. Especially with Hera's red and Toxin's limegreen. Hehe

Haha it will be interesting The sketch is done (:D), so all that's left is to get it on the computer, clean it up, and color it I made references of all the characters, so I have their colors and patterns ready to go. Thankfully, there is only a wider variety of colors, not patterns Black Tooth's patterns are much more...mellow, shall I say? It shouldn't take nearly as long Plus, there are fewer characters

and i don't know what you all are talking about. Cana is cutest =) haha

OK, suggestions

1. a few of them have paws that look like hooves (practice drawing paws)

2. the white wolf at the left top section looks a little bit strange. Its front legs are to round when they curve, they should be more straight *like a person when their elbow bends*

3. The small brown wolf front legs are too round, you need more angular and straight *in a way*

4. you should shade the colors will look cooler

5. sometimes when you have a black wolf make his color not do dark


Overall: Not too bad. I like your wolves. ^_^ Keep up the good work
