The Battle for Freedom

Kimberlee

Cappy, Lulu and I planned to take Mikael, bacause he was the easiest target. He was behind the bush in front of the house.
We were sneaking to the front of the house. But before I had reached the bush, I get a cold shower. "Oh my -" I started to say, but before I was finished I heard a very known laughter behind me. Jack's laughter. I turned around and Jack went a few step back.
My pistol was already loaded, so I held it up and spluttered some water on him. "Ey!" he shouted when the water hit him.
I started to run after Cappy, hide me behind the bush were Mikael was hidden just some seconds before.

April and Zane was running to the front of the house with Zeke, Alex, Jason and Zire was running after them. "Help us!" Zane shouted.
I wanted to help, but I already had a problem on my own. I knew Jack hated cold water - especially when a girl spluttered on him.
I heard Zane and April screamed while they got a thousands of water spluttered on themselves.

Mikael

I filled a bucket with water and levitated off the floor above the others heads. Perfect, i'll drop buckets from here and they'll never get me. Then it will be shower time for everyone else and speed dry time for me. I flew over Aprils head before eemptying the bucket of almost freezing water on head. She looked up and saw me.
"Hey no fair! Girls Get Mikael he's floating" She squealed. Oh bugger i thought as Cappy rounded the corner with a hose and the others lined up to shoot.

Adam

"ha" I laughed as Mikael got soaked and the water dragged him down to the floor.

"I don't know what your laughing at" Cappy said and pointed the hose over to me. I put on a fake scarred face as she pulled the trigger I transported to behing her and grabed the hose, I turned it on us both and we both got drenched. Mikael pulled himself up but April created a giant flow of water above him that fell down and knocked every body over.

"powers aloud" Zeke said summoning all the water out of the ground.

"uh oh" Kimberlee said obivisouley reading his mind to see what he was going to do. Zeke put the water in one strong hard brust and shot it was April who flew backwards through the air. Next he got kimberlee and then Zane and Lula *who hasn't posted yet*.

"nice one" Alex said but then Zeke turned the water on Alex who sloshed through the mud.

"Slide" me Mikael and Jack said at the same time and slided to cover Cappy was just a second behind me. Yet a second was to late and she was balled over by the jet of mud. That so cool I thought.

"I win" shouted Zeke.

"not yet" I said and dived out with a water pistol as did Jack and Mike. Zeke hit us all before the water was even close and I was catapulted through the mud.

"you win" Jack said.

"please no more" April said and we all laughed. A timer on my phone rag and I looked at it.

"oh shit hey Mike could you dry me quickly I need to be some were" I said.

"I'll clean you" Zeke said and wasjed the mud off and Mikael dried me then I transported away.

Mikael

"I wonder where Jason is off in such a hurry."
"Ah don't worry about it" replied Cappy calmly. "He'll be back."
"Hey who else is hungry."
"Me!" came a chorus of replies
"you'd had all better get towels then" i laughed heating the water on my body until it evaporated.
"Oh come on Mike save us some time" asked April from behind her soaking hair.
"Ok, ok." I walked over to the doors and held my hands out palms up. "Come on high fives all around." As each person walked past and high fived i evaporated the water away. As April walked passed i grabbed her hands looked into her eyes and heated her and the air around her making her hair blow in an unatural breeze and her face litterally glow.
"Just a tad over the top" smirked Zeke as he went past.

Kaythlin (Zane)

We went inside, for some snacks, after Mike dry us out. My hair was a mess, I sighed when I looked at the mirror.
"April, could you do me a favor, please?" I asked, doing puppy eyes.
"Work harder" She said, crossing her arms, with a playful look on her face.
I put my lip out and laid on my knees.
"OK, OK. What do you want?" She laughed.
"Well, there's a brush on the top of my drawer. Could you bring it here, please?"
She nodded and almost instantly, the brush appeared. I smiled and went to the bathroom.
"Oh my God!" I screamed. Someone was knocked at the door and asked, "Hey, are you ok?" A voice I recognise to be Zeke's.
"Yeah, sure. Could you get April for me, please?"
Silent. After a little bit, I heard April's voice too. I opened the door and asked, "Hum, April, one more favor please. Well, I got my.. period. And my pants are a bit dirty? Could you make a pair of one of mines appear, pretty please?" She seemed surprised, and she closed her eyes. My pair of jeans appeared on her arms.
"Thanks" I whispered. I closed the door again.
"Argh! How embarrassing!"

April

I laughed.

"Thanks Mike," I smiled, feeling the air rush around me.

Inside I grabbed a slice of pizza and sat on the couch.

"You know what's really amazing?" I asked the others, smiling.

"What?" Zane asked, tilting her head to the side. I remebered earlier, when I had to...conjure a few things for her. It was a girl thing and my powers really came in handy.

"That I can actually work my powers while drinking," I said raising my glass to the others. A chorus of laughs followed.

Beside me Mikael said, "No, the amazing thing is you worked your powers better than normal. Maybe you chould drink more, 'eh?" I shoved him playfully, and rolled my eyes.

"Do you know if Jason's coming back?" I asked. Kimberlee shrugged.

"Who knows. Though he was pretty secretive about his thoughts," she replied. I nodded.

"Well, he may just want to be alone. You can't really blame him." The others agreed and I layed against the couch. It was nice to relax a moment. Until someone else came up with something else to do. I smiled. I could only imagine what.

Tiger, I added a bit to Zeke's powers. Tell me if it's okay, I won't use them till then though.

Zeke~~

"Okay guys. We came to study, not to get drunk and go into a power war," I said, "Now I know you don't want to study, neither do I. But guys this year decides a bunch, and we can't just-"

"Boo!" Came from a few people.

"Fine," I said and grabbed the drinks in a ball of water, and dropped it on the ground, they shattered, I got more boos after that. Quickly I looked them over, this would be a class of Fs, and I did not want to be one of them.

"Bye, and if you guys want to pass, I'll be in the library," I said grabbed two slices of pizza, iced my shoes bottoms and skated away from the house.

That's completely alright. Your powers are supposed to grow as you use them more anyway. It's fine if anyone wants to expand their powers, just post on here first so that way I'll know. (:

April

That pissed me off. I can't believe Zeke just dumped the drinks on the floor. As he marched out I yelled after him.

"Don't let the door hit you in that tight ass on your way out!" The others looked at me. I sighed and conjured another drink.

"You guys go on if you want," I sighed. "I think I'm going to stay home. It's saturday. I'll just study tomorrow." It was already too late. A few left, following Zeke after groaning, but a few still sat on the couch with me. I smlied. At least some felt the way I did.

Adam

I walked into the house that was were I was suppose to be. The room was blank and cowebs were around the room. Except for a tall mirror in the middle of the room. I stepped in front of it but I didn't see my self I saw nothing but a black hole were my body should of been. I heard a rasp and turned around to see an old man muttering to himself.

"hello young man" he rasped and smiled. I took a step forward I knew I shouldn't but I couldn't help my self.

" do you the history of your powers Young man" he said now I knew I should get up but my legs wouldn't move.

"sit kid you ain't going anywere" a commanding voice rang out of no were.

"Fine, um I'll play along no I don't know were my powers come from" I said and the old man laughed.

"I'll tell you then, along time ago when I was a but a boy My family was taken from my home and they took us to mirror just like this and sent me through before desroying it and leaving us to rot, are families were banished because are powers were to powerful, I've had to exsist it this shit hole of a place for over 6000 years but the years are finnaly starting to braked through my powers take the toll so to speack but then this young man came along and told me I could return were they could heal my age". The old man finished I tried to get up or even teleport as a man with a ok g black coat and died red hair.

"mate let me go, no shit get away from me you sicko"I shouted as he took out a long knife and put it to my wrist and slit it. As blood posted out into a silver bowl that the man took and poured into a hatch at the top of the mirror.

"now with his teleportation powers well be able to brim back the banished my master will be pleased" The black coated man said and the rasper nodded I felt control flood back but I was hurting.

"let me get that" Black coat said and waves his hands over my wrist it is immeditly healed to just a scar.

"now go and remeber nothing" the commanding voice said again coming out of no were. I thought of home and teleported back to Aprils.

I was thinking the couch but I came out in the bathroom Zane was putting a fresh pair of jeans on.

"shit" I said covering my eyes. And Zane quickly putthe jeans on. Then she started hitting me.

"sorry sorry sorry I just appeared in here, wait do you know were I came from" Isaidand she stopes puzzeled.

"no I don't know you said you had to go some were" Zane said and I laughed.

"no I didn't I've been here the whole time" I said Zane saw my wrist and suddenly went disturbed.

"oh my ggod have you been slitting your wrist" I laughed again but sure enough when I looked back their was a scar akin my wrist quite big and noticinble.

"no" I said before transporting into the living room my thought troubled.

Cool, also the electricity is the way he controls the magnetic waves, he charges them a lot.

Also, sense I don't want to bring anyone in to studying who does not want to, have Zeke be failing Italian, and he is sweating because he needs to get an A or he has to go to remedial class, or something.

Can do Bolt.

I thought about earlier. I felt bad for cussing at Zeke. I had forgot he was failing his Italian class.

Suddenly Adam (though I thougt it was Jason) popped in the room.

"Shit!" I yelled as he sat next to me. He smiled a little and I hit him.

"Did I scare you? I'm so, so sorry," he said, sarcastically. I rolled my eyes. Zane walked down the stairs and I smiled at her. She looked a little upset. I got up and walked towards her.

"Hey Zane, come with me to the kitchen for a minute," I said. She looked at me curiously but nodded, following me.

"What's wrong," I asked stopping by the counter.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"You're upset. Tell me," I encouraged with a smile.

"I don't really know. Adam popped p in the bathroom and he started acting wierd," she replied.

"How so?" Zane sighed, running her fingers through her hair.

"First I saw a scar on his wrist. Then he asked where he had just been. He transported in the living room before I could say anything else," she replied, nibbling her lip. This was really troubling her. It was me too.

"Something going on Zane. I can feel it," I responded. She nodded.

"I feel it too April. It's weird. I can't explain it. I think we should talk to Adam."

I nodded. We were going to get to the bottom of this.


**By the way writewhatiwant, I didn't see your comment ahead of mine, but I read over it and changed a few things. Sorry ):

*I'm changing Lulu's power to walking through walls and becoming invisible. It's kind of one power because she has to be invisible in order to walk through a wall. Is that okay?*

Lulu~

I was a bit tired after the game of water drenching, and I sat on the arm of April's recliner armrest, plus there was no more boos. Zeke had made sure of that. I was probably the only one out of all my friends that actually had no problem with getting drunk. My motto in fact is: Time is never wasted when you're wasted.

I was struggling to watch the TV as the recent tequila was making things a blur, but I heard Adam.

"Did I scare you? I'm so, so sorry," April had said something before that but I hadn't heard it clearly. She yelled at him screaming some other crap before I glanced over and saw Zane enter the room.

"Hey Zane, come with me to the kitchen for a minute,"April said and they both disappeared into the kitchen.

"What's their problem,"I slurred a question to Adam. He grinned at me.

"Looks like someones had a little too much to drink." He joked.

"Oh shut it, Adam,"I smiled and threw a book at him.

"Anyway, I don't know what's up. You're a girl, right? You'd probably know better then me." He paused and grinned at me,"I hope."

"Whatever....ya know what..."I was slurring most of my words and the world was beginning to spin,"I'm gonna go find....o-out what's up with them," I meant to point to the kitchen but pointed to the window. It was the alchohol talking. Adam just stared at me and stifled a laugh as I struggled towards the kitchen wall then walking through it, remaining invisible as I came through the other side.

I just caught the end of April and Zane's conversation. "Somethings going on Zane. I can feel it," April said. Zane nodded.

"I feel it too April. It's weird. I can't explain it. I think we should talk to Adam."

"Abou....t wha-at,"I hicupped and the girls jumped looking around in fear.

"Who's there," April said grabbing for a kitchen knife.

"Whoa, whoa, easy there,"I sputtered becoming visible. Both girls sighed and I waited for an answer.

April

Well, at least I had someone to drink with, I thought amused as I listened to Lulu slur her words. Although, she may drink more than I, and that's saying something.

"Something odd is going on," I whispered to her. "I just feel...different. Like something bad is about to happen." Lulu gave me a look and sighed.

"I'm not surewhat's goin' on," she said, her words coming together. "But I'm listein',"

Zane explained to her the story with Adam. She looked just as confused as us.

"Well, I'm not really surewhatta say," Lulu replied.

"Me either," I responeded quietly. "But we need to figure it out. Maybe he's sick. Maybe it has to do with our powers?" Both girls looked at me and shook their heads, not knowing. I turned to the living room. It's time we got answers.

Jack

Apparently, people had either failed to noise that I'd returned to my table after the water fight, deciding that I'd done enough controlling of what other people felt today. If Zeke and the others really wanted to study, they could do just that. Either they hadn't noticed me there, though, or they'd assumed I was drunk, because Zane, April and Lulu were discussing some problem with Adam(Jason?) while I just lay there and tuned in.

Once they were done, and heading out to where he waited in the loungeroom, I sat up, "Yeah, I agree. Answers would be nice. Maybe Kimberlee can read his mind? Or I can make him want to hand his answers over?" They seemed a little surprised that I'd been there the entire time, but didn't seem to mind.

April

"Oh!" I said surprised. "Well, I guess we could ask Kimberlee." I looked her way, but she had already been reading our minds the entire time. With us, news gets around fast. Kimberlee nodded my way and faced Adam. Her eyes squinted and she suddenly opened them wide.

"Uh, bathroom," she said, heading for us in the kitchen.

"What?" I asked. "Is he okay?"

"I don't know," she trembled. "I was in his mind, but it's al jumbled. Then I found a peice, but it's like the memory is hidden from him. I don't know if I'll be able to read it if Adam can't even reach it."

"You've got to try," Zane said.

"Something really weird is going on and it's getting worse," Lulu muttered. We all agreed.

"Just focus on that one memory and I'll control his feelings," Jack responded, nodding to Kimberlee.

"Alright, but it's going to difficult. I've never seen something like this," she said back.

"Well we've got to do something," I replied. "I don't know what in the hell is going on, but I just want it to stop. You're the key to this Kimberlee. So no pressure or anything," I joked. She, apparently didn't find this funny, but with everything else going on, neither did I.
