Cody

Cody slid over to allow the skater girl in next to him. The back of the police car was cramped. Cody tried to look as inaconspicious as he could but at the same time kept sneaking looks over at the new passenger. She seemed familiar. He couldn't place where he'd seen her. The girl stuck her tongue at him; her piercing twinkling in the sun light. Cody looked away.

It didn't take long to reach the Springton high. The cop car slowed and the girl got out. She didn't say a word as she walked up the school's cement path. Officer Wayet Cody's dad turned back to look at him.

"I want you to stay away from that girl son. She's a bad example."

Cody didn't say anything. He grabbed his bag and stepped out the car. His dad rolled down the car window as Cody started up the path.

"Hey son!" his dad said. "Good luck in tryouts." Cody turned and smiled.

"I will dad." The police car pulled out and Cody started back up the path. He didn't see the skater girl on his way to springton. And he didn't see her during school either. He wasn't surprised though. The school's big and they could have different schedules. He reasoned. Lunch time rolled around and all the students were herded outside in the courtyards. A couple of students tossed the football while a few preppy girls watched. Cody didn't see anybody he knew yet so he found a temporary seat by a girl he didn't know but knew her name to be Jamie. She didn't notice him when he sat down at first. Her attention was engulfed by an etch she was working on. Which was fine with Cody. He didn't want attention at the moment anyway. He instead focused on the guys playing football. He almost convinced himself to try and join in when Jamie looked up.

"Why don't you just join?" she asked.

"I don't feel like it."

"Really? you've been watching them this whole time."

"Do you want me to leave or something?" Cody said. He didn't bother to hide the annoyance in his voice. The two of them sat in silence neither willing to speak to the other at first. Nearby one of the prep girls screamed after almost being hit by the ball. Jamie broke the silence.

"Look, don't get mad at me because you suck."

"What?"

"If you were confident in how you played then you would've gone over there," she said. Cody gabbed his trey.

"Whatever" he said and walked away from the table. He started to dump his trey in a trash can when he noticed a small piece of paper at the bottom of the can. He reached in and dug it out. He read it to himself twice and still didn't understand it. It took him a moment to notice the last part at the bottom of it. "mystery club?" he read out loud.

Danielle Paige:

Danielle glared at the guy she sat beside in the courtyard, who was arguing with her about some seniors record from two years ago that jumped the school fountain. In all truth though, the guy, Hunter, was her best friend. "Dani, shut up, you don't know anything about him."

"Do to!" Danielle had resulted in whining. She stood up, grabbing Hunter's skateboard. "Look! All he did was this!" She pushed off with her foot, speeding down the cement hill they sat on. A cement bench that was broken formed the perfect ramp. She popped up the nose of the board and flew through the air, doing a flip so she could set her hand on the top of the fountain. She pushed off, gaining more air, and went speeding down through the air. She landed on one of the preps, that just happened to be her older sister.

"Danielle Paige Tashik! I am going to kill you!" Her sister screamed from behind her while she ran off, back towards a laughing Hunter.

"Dani, my office, now." The principal came over the loud speaker. Danielle groaned loudly and stuffed her hands into her jeans, walking into the school lazily and leaving all her friends behind to laugh.

Ben

Ben and his sister stopped their bikes in the courtyard, walking them across to chain them up and waving at a few friends on the way. Ben shot a meaningful look at her as she locked up her bike, "Try not to get into any trouble today, okay?"

She sighed and nodded, starting off towards class, "And if anyone gives me any trouble or looks at me the wrong way, let you or dad know, I know, Ben. I get this lecture often enough."

He smiled and laughed, "I know, but who's going to look after you if I don't?" She turned and waved a brief goodbye before gong off to class with some of her friends. Once she was out of sight, Ben turned back to his bike, pulling his bag off it. Checking to see that no one was watching him, he drew out the note and read it for the third time that morning. How many other people had got this? He slipped the note inside his pocket and cast a long look over the courtyard, wondering how many people here had got a note as well.

When lunchtime finally came around, Ben wandered out into the courtyard, looking for one of the many people he knew. As always, he was upfor a chat, as long as it didn't involve someone trying to recruit him into a clique or force their ideals down his throat. Ideals weren't really his thing.

Tally Gray

Tally and Jay didn't spend much time at the skate park, they found they were late for school. Tally had to jump the back fence just after the bell rang for class. She skated her way to class and into the boring History classroom.

"You're late again I see, Miss Gray." the teacher said.

"Yup." Tally rolled to her seat.

"No skateboards in class Tally." the teacher scolded, holding out a hand for the board.

Tally didn't move.

"Tally, give me the skateboard." he insisted.

"No thank you, I'd rather not." she answered politely.

"Then head to the office." he said.

Tally stood and walked out of the room. She threw her board down and skated down the hall, ramping of a bench on her way. She didn't quite hit the bench right though, she ended up flying into a trophy case right outside the principal's office.

"My office, now." The principal said when he came to check out the damage.

"M'kay." Tally shrugged and sat in a chair outside of the pricipals office. She had to wait her turn.

Tally found herself next to another girl, Tally thought she recognized her. She was sometimes at the skate park.

"So whatcha in for?" Tally asked her.

Ben

After a while, Ben caught sight of Aidan. Although the other boy didn't talk much, the two got along well enough simply because neither of them fit in anywhere. Wondering briefly if Aidam had got a message, Ben wandered over to him.

"Hey, Aidan." he said, "How's things?"

Aidan nodded in greeting, then shrugged his answer. Ben laughed, sitting down beside him, "Still not the talkative type, huh?"

Yeah, i've been sleep all day so i'm making a last minute post. O.o
oh yeah and guys i guess it's about time we all brought our characters to the mystery club room.
*oh And yeah Billy I'll make sure Ben's kept alive.*
~ Cody

The bell rang for lunch to end and clubs to start. Students were hearded into the building where they would participate in the different clubs. Cody passed the principal's office and stopped when he saw who was in it. It was the skater girl he'd met in his dad's police car and sitting next to her was a blond girl that he wasn't quite familiar with. Cody started to walk away when skater girl looked up and noticed him.

"Hey there, preppy," she said as she stepped out of the office.

"Are you sure you should be doing that?"

"What, old Mr. Mcgee? He'll forget about me in a minute. That old farts been loosin it."

"That old fart's our principal," Cody reminded her. "It's wierd though i'm not surprised your on a name basis with him."

Skater girl shrugged. "We see each other often."

Cody laughed. "So..What's your name? I'm sorry. I never got to ask when we met-"

"Oh it's cool. Its not every day you meet someone in the back of a police car. It's Danielle Dani for short." She shook his hand. "Nice to meet you."

"I'm Cody, nice to meet you."

The door to the office slammed and both Dani and Cody turned to see the blond girl step out. She was the one who sat next to Dani in the office when Cody first walked up.

"Sorry," she said "I couldn't stand being in that office any longer."

Dani twisted around "Hey Tally, then how bout we just skip? " she turned to Cody "you wanna come?"

Cody shrugged. "Actually there was kinda something I wanted to check out."

"Like what?" the girl named Tally asked.

"Well, have you heard of the mystery club?"

Both girls exchanged looks. Tally said, "That club hasn't been aroud since 'incident'"

"Incident?"

Dani frowned in thought, " Cody, you didn't join this school until the end of last year right?"

"Yeah, my dad's a cop. He had to transfer."

"Well, the rumor about the mystery club is, the seven kids who were in the club last year each committed sucicide."

"So what? everyone in the club killed themselves?"

"No not everyone..." Tally said.

"Who...didn't?" The question hung over them like an ominous cloud. Neither girl said a word at first. Danii was the first to break the silence. Her voice was quiet; almost too low for Cody to hear.

"The last survivor, was Aiden's older brother.(I hope that's ok. If not i'll change it) He was all beat up looking though. Some people say that all the kids in mystery club were murdered and Aiden's brother was attacked but mangaged to survive. But the police could get nothing out of him and no evidence pointed towards anything but suicide for the victims."

"Aiden's brother also, committed suicide himself not to long after and the mystery went cold," Tally put in.

"So is Aiden ok?" Cody asked.

"Yeah, he's fine but he's sort of become one of the misfits of the school. He's a cool guy if you ask me."

A chill went down Cody's spine. His thoughts drifted over to the note he'd found.

"Hey! what's up?" came a voice and everyone jumped. The group turned to see...

I looked to see Alice walking towards us smiling. "Hey! What's up guys?" she asked.

"Oh not much." I said. "We're just talking about the mystery club, you know the 'incident' from last year?"

Alice nodded. "Yeah, that was terrible." she said. "Wait, did you guys get a note too?"

Cody looked at me, I looked at Dani. I didn't know if either of them got a note like I did. Cody seemed like he might have since he brought up the club.

"You got a note?" Cody asked.

"Yeah." she said. "Did you?"

"I did." Cody admitted.

They both looked at me and Dani.

"I got a note." I said at last.

I'm cool with the bro thing. But I think it shouldn't be that quick that they find out they all have the note. I think it should be more mysterious like little clues hint to who has the note.

Aidan~

Aidan sat in the courtyard during what the school called recess, lunch, or something There really wasn't much to do. Ben wandered over to him.

"Hey, Aidan." he said, "How's things?"

Aidan nodded in greeting, then shrugged his answer. Ben laughed, sitting down beside him, "Still not the talkative type, huh?"

It wasn't just that. Aidan was creeped out. Earlier that day when he had been going through his brother's old room, like he did everyday, he'd come across a note, but it hadn't been addressed to his brother. Nor was it there yesterday. He remembered the deep red letters.

"I have my moments." He smiled at Ben and they both heard the bell signal for the club period to begin.

"Alright, well I guess I should go check out this club-"Ben started.

"What club?" Aidan asked, rising from the bench.

"To be honest...I don't really know if it exists," Ben said. By now they were inside and passing the Principal's office where a small group was gathered. Dani, Tally, Cody, and Alice, they shot Aidan the weirdest look ever as he passed by. As if he held all the answers to their discussion.

"Hey I'll see ya later. I'm gonna go check out what they're talking about." Ben said as he gestured to the group. Aidan didn't mind he was heading to his locker anyway, which was a whole hall over. The walk ws short, because he cut across the gym.

Some people stared at him as usual, but the halls were practically becoming empty quickly as kids found there clubs. Plus, he knew it was because of the creepy stories that followed him everywhere that they stared. The 'Mysterious Seven'.

He opened his preset locker and shoveled through books until a piece of paper fell to his feet. That's not what I think it is.... He was completely creeped out as he placed his books back in the locker and slowly bent to pick up the note. The hall was empty. The only thing that sent a chill down his spine were the words in red.

Someone gasped and Aidan looked up to see Dani staring at the note in his hand. He shoved it into his pocket. Had she followed him?

*Hope this is okay*

Danielle~

Danielle had played dumb with the others, claiming that she didn't know anything about a note. Aiden walked by, Dani shooting him a glance while Ben strode over to the group. "Hey guys, I'll talk to you later. I'm going to go talk to Aiden," she fell in step behind Aiden, handing in her hoodie pocket. She was just going to stop and talk to him at his locker.

Aiden opened her locker, right as she started to speak, and a note fell out, causing a gasp to come out of her lips instead of actual words. He shoved it in his pocket and she swallowed the lump in her throat, smiling lightly at him. "H-hey Aiden. What's up?" She questioned, trying to act like she hadn't seen it.

**yeah sorry, I've got to go! :(**

Aidan~

"H-hey Aiden. What's up?" She questioned. He shrugged, trying to play it cool, like he'd done nothing wrong.

"Well....whatcha got there?" Dani asked slowly coming closer.

"Nothing." Aidan said this time and grabbed a few books before slamming his locker shut. This time making sure to unpreset it. "Just getting some books."He raised his hand holding them as an example.

"Really? So that wasn't a note?" She asked batting her lashes and leaning agaisnt the locker next to his. She was cute, he had to admit, but that little flirt and get the info thing, never worked on him. He smirked at her.

"Ya might wanna get a move on, or you'll be late for a club." He started down a different hall, walking backwards as he talked to her,"And by the way, that was a note....from my mom." He lied and turned into a random classroom. It was the theater club.

Dani had given him a suspicious glare when he'd answered. No doubt she would tell the others of the little situation.

"Hey Aidan! Never thought I'd see you in here!" A girl wearing black lipstick said to him. Great her....he thought. It was Christina Becker. The same girl that asked him to every dance every year and always tried to sit with him at lunch. He sighed inwardly. Why had it been theater, why not tech?

"Come on." She pulled him over to a line of people. The auditions were today. Aidan had totally forgotten. "We're doing Romeo and Juliet this year as the school play. In fact I was going to audition for Juliet in a few minutes, but I still haven't practiced the kissing scene?" Christina smiled wide, her braces glinting in the flourescent light. Oh boy...

Tally Gray

A guy who's name I thought to be Ben joined us. They all started talking about different clubs, but I had better things to do.

"I'll see you guys around." I excused myself.

"Where are you going?" Cody asked as I walked away. "You'll miss out on clubs."

I turned back to them and shrugged. "I guess I'll catch up tomorrow."

No one else said anything as I left. As soon as I was outside I threw down my skateboard and started towards the skate park. I felt like the note on the ramp had been a dream, maybe it hadn't really been there.

I neared the skate park, it was empty. This was actually a strange occurance, many students skipped classes and especially clubs to skate. And there was even a club that went to the skate park. I rolled to the ramp where the note had been spray painted in red. I held my breath as it came into view. I was relieved though to see that it wasn't there.

I turned to head back to the school. A gust of wind picked up and blew some scraps of paper towards me. One strangely stuck to my leg. I grabbed it and turned it over to reveal dark red letters.

"Why aren't you going to the club, Tally?" I read out loud.

Now this was just creepy.

**Moonlight's idea seems like a good one - but they do have to go to the club. So why don't they get kidnapped or something and made to wear bunny masks in the club?**

Ben

"I'll see you guys around." Tally said, walking off as Ben reached the small group. There were only four of them standing there now, and Ben looked around at them with a smile.

"So," He said, "What clubs are we all in?"

the others seemed somewhat nervous, as if they didn't want to say what club they were in. Ben let out a laugh, "What is it, are you all computer geeks or something?"

His phone buzzed in his pocket, and he frowned a little, I could've sworn that was switched off. He drew it out of his pocket, looking at the others, "Hold that thought."

Why aren't you in your club, Ben? The message said. He blinked down at it, then quickly switched off his phone and put it back in his pocket. He looked around at them, "Uh, sorry guys, there's somewhere I've gotta be..."

He turned and started walking away from the group, turning a corner down a half darkened corridor - when his phone buzzed again. He froze, No way.

Hurry up. Was all the new message said. And then, a second later, Sorry, you took a little too long. -The Old Fox. A black bag was put over his head, a drawstring pulled taut, and then he felt himself being dragged away by the person he could only assume was 'The Old Fox'. He heard a classroom door open, and then he was being seated in a chair. The bag was removed, and he was handed a bunny mask by a man - obviously not a student - in a fox mask, "Wait here. There will be others. And put that mask on."

*I love Bill's idea.*

Aidan~

He watched with horror as Christina proceeded to gloss her lips with greasy chapstick. I think I'm gonna be sick... "Hey, I gotta go to the bathroom. I'll....um...only be a second,"He lost thought of his words for a second as she winked at him and made a kissy face.

"Okay, but hurry back!" She chirped and he nodded hesitantly. As soon as he was out of her sight he bolted out the Theater club doors and back into the hall. Dani wasn't there anymore. Probably off vandalizing someones locker.

He sprinted down another hallways near the 'out of order' vending machines. All around him on the walls were pictures of the previous graduating class. Aidan glanced around but his eyes locked onto one photo from 1989 and his body foze. Written in the dust was: Better hurry up, we haven't got all day.... It was the exact same thing written on the note from his locker.

"What th-"He was about to say when all of a sudden there were hands on his shoulders. He wasn't going without a fight. Aidan threw his body into one of the vending machines and caught sight of the person behind him in the reflection of one of the pictures. A fox face was all that stared back at him, looking directly into the same reflection as him. He gasped and the person waved before revealing a black bag that sent Aidan into complete darkness.
