I needed something to do instead of revision. I don't have an A3 scanner so you have to put up with a photograph. I used a mechanical pencil from ASDA and a rubber.

I love this!
Woah you are really talented! :D

The only thing I would say is that I can't decide if the lips are too big or not... But it's still great. I really wish I could draw and I'm even more hopeless with faces and people so really, I'm amazed!

This must have taken you ages?

It just goes to show that ASDA is clearly the way to go! :D

EDIT: Hmm maybe it's not that the lips are too big but that they aren't quite centre as someone else said.. and one side looks a little longer than the other? But as I said I'm hopeless with this kind of thing so I could be talking complete rubbish! :D

Heya Raimunda!!

I have to say this before I start any kind of review: Awesome picture! It's soo realistic. Ahem, now forwards!

Hair: The hair is so realistic. You did a wonderful job on it. It flows perfectly around her face and well, I can't seem to say anything else. Besides what I've already said.

Eyes: Wonderful detail on the eyes. Although the right eye does seem to sit slightly lower then the left. But that may be just me ^_^

Nose: The only thing I can point out is there's a line right above the left nostril. I noticed it right away. But it may be just the way you shaded it. There might be a way for you to blend it in to make the line less noticable.

Lips: This may be just me, but I always thought the lips sat right beneath the nose, not a little to the left. I noticed that right away. It's not quite centred >_<

Eyebrows: The left eyebrow is more bushier than the right.

Hands: Well, they look fine to me xD

Overall: You have a wonderful picture on your hands! Gold star for you! This really is a good picture. Good job!

*Sticks gold star on Raimunda's forhead.* You rock. This is completely awesome. I could never do anything that good.

Only things I saw: lips seem a little off center (like someone else said) that could probably be fixed easily (but then again, what do i know?) And the left eyebrow seems a little bigger than the right.

Other than that, you rock! I especially love the hair and hands. Hands are very hard to draw (I'm sort of a very amature artist hah) and you did a very good job. Very lifelike.

I have to agree with everyone else that this is very good. Again, the lips are a bit off centered and another point I wanted to make was about the hands. They are very well drawn, but the girls left (our right) looks like it only has 4 fingers instead of 5. Perhaps this was an intentional thing which in that case, its fine.

And I have to say, the eyebrows are really expressive and add to the very locked on look of the eyes. Awesoem work.

O_____O
I need lessons from you. Seriously.

Anyhoo, I shall point out what has not been pointed out yet (I hope):
Her left ear is higher than her right, even though she could be tilted at an angle, the left ear still looks a bit short as compared to the right. Oh, and normally the bottom of our ears are aligned with our mouth between the two lips, or at least the top lip.

The whites of her eyes differ in colour so it comes off a bit strange.

There's normally some shading below the bottom lip as it protrudes out and casta slight shadow ;)

Her hands look a bit small, not enough to cover her face. And one thumb is missing (You didn't really draw in anything jutting out slightly to indicate that she has a thumb) and the other hand's thumb is angled/drawn at a tad awkward position.

Perhaps it would be better to have a shading below her chin on her neck as it casts a shadow.

I absolutely loved the hair details. I don't think I could do that XD
Simply put, this whole piece was realistic and brilliant.
Everyone's saying this but I shall say it again:
You have talent, my friend :D

How many eons have you been drawing? This is absolutly amazing! I'm going to have to stare at it for half an hour just to make this review more than praise! ;)

Eyes: The best parts about these, in my opinion, are the iris's and pupils. They look very realistic with the details. I can see the (realistically detailed) eyelids, and that's nice. This sounds weird, but good job on the tear ducts! The one on the left seems a bit... narrow, I guess? She seems to wear really thick makeup, and eyeliner. Of course, that's from the tears, but it still seems a little off on the right eye.

Hair: Very shiny, very realistic, very nice. I like how, at the shoulder, it goes out a little bit. Like most people I know's hair. I really can't say much, becasue I'm still gaping in awe. Shiny... Nice job with the highlights!

Hands: Honestly, these are some of the best hands I've ever seen. But I'm thinking you don't like drawing thumbs? The shading is awesome, the knuckles look great (reviewing pictures always sounds so weird), just... nice.

Nose: What a nice greek nose. The nostrils are nice, and the shading is good. I can't really think of much else to say.

Eyebrows: I think she's got a bad plucking habit, because, as MeadowLark said, the left is bushier than the right. But to me, it's the right that looks to skiny. Nice job defining the browline!

Ears: Well, what do you know. Ears that look like... ears. For some reason, the left one looks too wide at the bottom, but that's just me.

Lips: Big, beautiful, shiny lips. The highlighting is great. The only problem I see is that they're out of line with the nose, and, as Meep said, they lack shading underneath. Even from where the light source is, which is the girl is staring at a lamp, there should be a little.

Well, I hope this helped even the tiniest bit! You have such talent!

Wow! I don't personally know a lot about art, but this is really good! I like the way you've used just pencil (just black and white) because I often feel that pencil drawings are more expressive as you have more control over the detail. The facial features are really well done, and the eyes in particular really "sparkle". Very dramatic.

GASP!!!!!!!! Your realism is AMAZING! I love this. The hair looks so real and I can see all of the emotion in her face. The hands are nicely done (usually they are very hard, but you did great). How long have you been drawing?

Properly? For about a year and a half.

Thanks for all the reviews. I'm going to try and make the changes. The reason, I think, that it's all wonky, is because I tried to do the drawing as if you are looking at it slightly to the left, and, er, failed.

ok... kinda weird that I am the only guy posting... But I have always had an eye for art, as my whole family paints and draws, but when I saw that drawing I actually thought it was a picture for a second, but the tear clued me into the fact that it was a drawing... even though I already knew that from the title of the thread... all in all, that is an amazing drawing, keep up the good work.

Cheers, Yamar

OKay, one more, its not over yet. When I first opened this, I wasn't looking too hard and it looked like a photograph! (No joke!) So I was Uh-mazed when I saw that it was a drawing! This photograph inspired me! *Golden star of awsomeness awarded*

Just a couple of things I noticed right away:
The left side of the bridge of the nose is a little squared off, mabey you could soften it? (I dont know)
And everything was all nice and shaded, except for the neck!

P.S.(I most loved how the mascara was running!)

that is flipping brilliant
