I walked towards the line of people. As soon as I neared them I became a target for their anger. Insults were immedeatly thrown and people were yelling about anything they could think of.
"Could we please all quiet down?" I asked loudly. "This level of sound is not good for the comfort of the patients."
"Is that all you care about?" someone yelled at me. "Can't you find a cure instead of just making everyone 'comfortable'? Do something useful!"
"We are doing the best we can." I explained.
"Obviously your best isn't good enough!"
The crowd held on to this persons insults and grew louder.
"Find a cure!"
"Stop standing around and find something useful to do!"
"You don't deserve to be called a doctor!"
I finally grew tired of the constant noise and insults. I pressed a button on the wall and spoke into a small speaker. "Security to Coliac's Ward."
It wasn't long before the hospital's security team came through and removed all the angry families. I sighed and sunk to the floor. I rested my head against the wall and closed my eyes. We need a cure.
"Doctor Sark." a nurse spoke to me.
I opened my eyes to see an unfamiliar nurse looking at me, she held a large yellow folder.
"We have another one." she said. "Do you want me to just toss it?"
I sighed. "Give it here." I took the folder from her. It was addressed to the hospital from someone named Andre Greysmith. Haven't heard that name before. I thought.
I opened the folder and pulled out a stack of papers. They included procedures and such that this Mr. Greysmith thought would cure Coliac's. We got a number of these a week from citizens who thought they might know of a way to cure the disease. This one was different though, it looked like it had possibilities.
"Zire!" I called. "You need to see this!"
-----
I hope that's okay...it was mentioned that Andre thought he knew of a way to cure it. If it's not okay I'll change it.
I put my head in my hands. My sister was finally asleep and I listened to her labored breaths. Why was this happening to me? I heard a raquet outside and stepped out of the room. A mob type thing was forming shouting about finding a cure. Someone yelled to a woman that she didn't deserve to be called a doctor. Rage wracked my insides. Didn't they understand?
"Hey! You!" I yelled at the man. "What do you think you're doing? My sister is sleeping for the first time in hours and you'll wake her up!"
"Blame the doctors," he said. "They're the ones who ain't finding a cure."
"Oh really?" I asked. "Do you think they're not trying. Just look at her," I pointed to the nurse, "Look how tired she is. Do you think she's gotten sleep lately? No. They've been up for hours and hours helping our loved ones. They don't need to put up with your crap too!" Everyone looked at me stunned. Even I was stunned. I had never taken control like that before, but I noted my words had taken the effect I had wanted.
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!
I walked up to her, afraid to run and trip over someone.
"Hmm?" I asked her.
She gave me one of those yellow packages filled with cures that the people have found out. It was labeled "Andre Greysmith", a name i have heard before, but could not remember where.
I opened the folder and took out the files in it. There were two kinds of handwriting, one much old and the other only recently written.
I looked at Hannah and frowned "Are you sure...".
"Just look" She ordered and so i sis look.
Inside were photographs of various patients, and also notes on how to reduce the pain. I looked through the files and suddenly stopped.
The last file had been written many years ago, but it had been corrected many times with the new handwriting.
It contained the cure, or so i thought. The complex drawings and writing showed us how to isolate the Coliac germ and to destroy it, it would certainly take time but, i knew that we had to try.
I looked at Hannah who i knew had the same thought in her mind.
"Well? should we try it?" I asked.
If she said yes we would end up in the lab, if no then we would stay here.

"Are you okay? You looked sick..." that was teh first thing i asked as the apartment door fo my best friend, Cindy.
"I'm fine, I'm fine...just had a rough night you know. Besides it was cold last night so i could blame that." she said a bit opportunistic.
I looked at her for a while and can see her pale face, swollen eyes and red nose. She was not the Cindy i had knew.
"Say, we will have a party tonight by the bar. Do you want to come? Danny is there...i know you alwasy do."
i thought she was about to agree but waved instead a no.
"Sorry about that, Jenny, i'm too sick to do anything right now."
"Should i at least give you some medicine? i could go to the bank and get some money to buy you some medicine."
"You're the best, Jen. Thanks." after that we waved each other a goodbye before i venture out and had a sneeze. Bloody hell, i thought, don't tell me i'm sick.
Frederick
I stayed outside of the hospital by the car with the guy who'd i got into an argument.
"Say, when did ol porkchop got sick."
"Dunno," he blew a smoke, "But he ahs been coughing last week." I srared outside the car and noticed dozens of people storming inside the hospital. What is going there, a party or something.
"Just hope, porkchop goes through well. He got all the plans for our brilliant heist."
"ain't he telling us."
"Nah, he's too stubborn like a boar. Besides the sooner he's fixed up , the better for us."
I sighed before the blue car in park of us stop and with it was porkchop.
"Ready to go, newbie." the guy said as i carefully settled my gun below my pants. We followed porkchop as he went inside and found out that there was a hysteria happening. There was a massive people shouting and screaming. The security guards have deserted their stop and even with our unusual outfit, no one stop us.
We tried to go deeper to this hysteria but porkchop was already getting sick.
"Get them out of here," he ordered us and quickly as he says that, one of our men took out his gun and fired at the roof. Everyone looked at us.
Half way to our new home and mum picked up her cell phone.
"Hello...? Yeas, this is the mother of Andre grey-- What do you want?" She silently puklled the car toa stop on the curb, and turned off the engine.
"Yes... well, where are you? NEW YORK?" She took the phone away from her ear and swore. "I'm sorry, but it's a bit hard to get there right now. We're on the move, and there would be trucks to contact... it's just too hard." She paused for a minute. "I don't care if you need him! That vile desease took my husband and you'll be damned if it takes my son too!"
"Mum...? I think I can help!" He whispered, understandin the just of the conversation. "I know a cure... they thenk--" he was cut off my his mother - she helda hand up the meant; Stop - that's enough. I don't care what you think, you're in my car and you're going where I drive it.
She whispered into the phone now - afraid of sounding enraged. A tear rooled down her cheek. It's just too much, andre thought. Too much, but necessary."I'm sorry, Mrs Sark. He's not getting near any-one of thoses people. It's too dangerous!"
Maybe you should try andre's cell-phone, when he's out of the house?

"He's a child?" Zire asked in disbelief. "A child?!"
I nodded. I too was shocked, but I knew we had to need this boy. "A child who may very well know the cure to Coliac's." I said.
Zire sighed, covering his face with one of his hands. "How do we find this boy?"
I thought for a moment. We could attempt to get his new address and find him there, or investigate the town where he had lived before the move. We had his old address...
I checked the address on the envelope. Sure enough the mailing address was there.
"We need to get here." I showed the envelope to Zire and pointed to the address.
-----
Does it matter where Andre used to live? Hannah will go there and harass his friends for his new address and get his cell phone number or something.
School should have been today, Tuesday, but it was closed. there were 15 contract-ants of Coliacs in the last few weeks. That was out of the thousand odd students. They couldn't risk it, so Andre never got to meat his new class mates, or make any new friends.
That was too bad, but he really wanted to work at hospital. He had sent off a few forms before they left the old house, but there had only been one reply. That was the one Mum had blown off in the car.
it wasn't fair! Doctors thought he was onto something, doctors and he wasn't allowed to go. It was the lives of millions - even billions of people at stake, and he was as good as grounded.
It wasn't FAIR!

The sweet lady smiled from over the counter, the kind that grown-ups do when they think they know better.
"I'm sorry, sweetie. But we can't hire a minor. You're not even Eighteen, we just can't afford to take on someone with your lack of experience."
"But that's rubbish!" Andre shouted. this was the second hospital he had been refused an application. Not even an interview. He had had to cycle 10 k's out of town to get here, and there was another 10 k cycle back. His legs were on fire and his breath exasperated. It wasn't the best get up for an interview, he admitted, but it should do. You see doctors and nurses running wild all the time, especially with the Coliacs wards overflowing with occupants. "I am just as good as any one of your current employees, and you need the help with the virus. that is Blasphemy. You can't deny me because of my age. I aced my A-levels; top of my class and I earned a scholarship for five of the best colleges in the world for it. I have a possible cure for Coliacs, and you won't hire me because I'm too young?"
That was another thing to put on the list. Never - not in your life - should you turn up to a job application and start to yell at the front desk. Absolute no-no.
"Out" She whispered. " I have no time for this. People are dying, and you want a job that some take decades of work to repare for. I'm sorry, but even with the under-staff problem, I would never hire an uneducated scum such as your self. OUT!"
That was the end. He was wanted in New York, of all places, but he couldn't get a simple job here. Not even a talk to the boss.
And Politicians think discrimination has stopped.
