Night Fall

Recently found out about Naruto, and thought I would combine it with some of my own ideas, so its sort of a fan-fic, but I'm going to try and put some new twists on it. The only things similar are the world, and some of the laws of the world.

The World:

The story takes place in a world quite similar to ours, yet shockingly different. In short it is a world that is falling apart. sections of the world are becoming radioactive, the land seems to be collapsing underneath it, and time itself seems to be unraveling. There are three main countries, each named after the principal environment that covers the country. Leaf country (Forest), Mist country (Swamp) and Rock country (mountain). The countries cover an island completely. The Rock country wraps around the whole west side. The Mist country is in the lowlands at the base of the mountains. The forest country covers the rest of the island. Open plains are scattered sporadically throughout the island. I know this is unoriginal, but it can be changed if there are any other ideas.

Leaf country: Covered in an ancient forest. The trees scrape the sky and separate ecosystems can exist on a single branch.

Mist country: Country located in the lowlands. Swamps laced with waterways. Country is very secretive and hidden.

Rock country: Tall snowcapped mountains. Twisted crags, and long cave systems. Extensive mountain range.

So here is where it may get confusing. Im going to explain everything, so you just have to stick with it.

People in this world are born with powers, or as its called here, a gift. They have the ability to control the world around them in surprising ways. Everyone has this ability, but to varying degrees. Each village has an academy that trains the most gifted of its citizens. Those in the academy are called Shinobi.

The academy progresses in a very similar way to the academy of Naruto (The ranks will be the same, and the exams will progress in the same way).

The Plot:

Time is unraveling and the world is falling apart, leaving large splits in the ground that reach down to the depths of the earth. Out of the chaos springs a new type of villains. This group of rebel shinobi are speeding along the process of the worlds destruction and no one knows why. Its is your job to stop this permanent nightfall.

The plot is rough, and up for change if anyone has any other ideas.

Rules:
-No God modding. You are human, and make mistakes. HOWEVER you are extremely powerful, and should not mistake this fact, or over use it..
- No sex, but relationships are allowed.
-cussing to minimum
-Abide by all rules set by YWS
-Technology is around teh age of the West (I.E. cowboy times)

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Nation: Leaf

Personality: Hyper and peppy with a "go go!" nature. She genrally likes everyone but keeps most of her own secrets to herself.

gift: Family was considered normal and boring without power until she was born. She can move fast without flaw and is very agile. She can circuit electricity on whim but mostly likely likes to use good old fashion fighting style. She can also use fire and anything that gives off a slight heat source.

Likes: Food but can't even cook for herself. She likes jumping off tall things also.

Dislikes: Mean people and tries to "fix" them

Strengths: she is fearless and unstoppable until she drops dead. She can blow up almost anything.

Weaknesses: An empty stomach and takes peoples trust too seriously.

Other: Up for love and also carries knives and explosives all over her body.

Name: Cole Sasi

Age: 15

Gender: male

Nation: Leaf

Personality: He is a a clown. No one expected for him to graduate, or even get in, but he did. He always pulls pranks, tries to make things fun and stuff like that.

Appearance: He has longish brown hair that has a tuff hanging over his right eye. bright blue mischievous green eyes that turn blue when he attacks with lightning, or is about to attack with lightning. He is medium height, about 5 foot six. looks a bit scrawny, but is actually pretty strong.

Gift: His bloodline limit of his family is an advanced electrical manipulation. They have lightning running through their veins, and they use it in most attacks. His favorite attacks are, lightning shield, where he creates a field of lightning to cover his body, he can control it to make it expand to fit others, or seal enemies in it if he can touch them, he usually makes it expand or explode to do damage though. He also has the power to send it through the ground then make it come out in giant beams to hurt enemies, though he needs his two blades to do it. He can also just send it out in burst at the enemy, usually uses his swords to concentrate the beam though. (trying to learn to learn a water based attack to combine with his lightning attacks.

Likes: girls, barbeque, sword fighting, drinking and shocking people.

Dislikes: virtually nothing.

Strengths: sword fighting (he is awesome at duel blade combat.) trap setting and sneaking around.

Weaknesses: long range attacks that are non electrical.

Name: Arthur Erikson

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Country of Origin: Leaf

Personality: He is a very cool head. He has distanced himself from most people because he knows that he will die. He has alot of control over his emotions. Finds he has trouble opening up to people, and only his best friends know what he is thinking. He always has a sarcastic comment.

Appearance: Sasuke's hair. He has red eyes and his skin is pale. He is about average hight and is fairly skinny but well muscled. He wears a black hoodie with a military vest over it. The sleaves are normally rolled up. He wears sort of skinny tan pants.

Gift: His bloodline is as much a curse as it is a gift. He was born with a mark on his arm that gives him increased strength and speed. The mark grants him extra control over his gift, allowing him to do more advanced techniques. In return the mark slowly eats his body. It is fueled by anger, and the more he uses it the more it consumes him. When it has covered his whole body he will die. If he gets very mad the mark feeds off of it and gives him exponential power.

Likes: Music. He likes to run through the forest. However much he hates to admit it he likes to fight, and enjoys a challenge.

Dislikes: Hate and anger. He lives in peace with his world and those that try and disrupt the peace are no better than skum to him.

Strengths: He is very fast and pretty strong. He is not quick to start fights, but when he does he will finish them quickly.

Weaknesses: Doesnt like fights. When he loses his temper it is very dangerous to be around him.

Other: Up for love, but it may take some work. He carrys a revolver, and a sword.

what rank should we start at?

I think Chunin would be good. So that we can do higher rank more important B rank missions. And then one of us can be a jounin and take us on some A rank missions

ok, its still a rough idea that I wanted to post before I forgot it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

For a first mission?

Maybe a scouting mission. they found one of the camps and the mission is to scout it out. Take a head count, survalence positions, etc. That kind of stuff. then they go back report and go back to strike.

Name: Suika (Soo-ee-kah)

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Country of Origin: Leaf

Personality: Unlike my last Suika, this one is shy, and tends to stay out of others' business. She keeps to herself. She is hard-working, trustworthy, and dedicated. If you want to talk to someone, she is a great listener. She is very observing, and tends to pick things up quicker than others. (Changes in weather, etc,.)

Appearance: Copper-red hair that is cut to about her shoulders. She has bangs that are always getting in her face. She has fair skin, and bright-green flecked eyes. Fairly tall, '5"8, and very gangly and awkward looking. (Think of a giraffe walking, and you've got her.)

Gift: Blood-line trait: Her family has the ability to fade into shadows, making them good ANBU, and able to easily pick up information. They can, however, only keep the jutsu for about 20 minutes if they want to drain all their chakra.
Her trait: She is very lithe, and has great dodge. When one-on-one combat occurs, she tends to evade attacks, and when she has the chance, she will take a blow. She can run pretty fast, too.

Likes: The rain, swimming, ramen, drawing.

Dislikes: Mean people, those girls who act different like someone they aren't, people who are obnoxious (because they tend to try and make Suika talk.)

Strengths: Dodge, sprinting, hand-to-hand combat.

Weaknesses: Long-range, genjutsu ... alot of stuff.

Other: Likes sketching. Up for love.

gift: Great speed and agility he attack quickly so you never see him coming although his strength is pretty weak he can do that thing with the eye that makes you faster and stronger and see what the enemy is going to do next

dislikes: anyone that doesn't like him *yeah he's a bit obnoxious* spicy food and lightning it scares him [wimp]
