Though my body was barely movable I could make out the form of the blind girl resting nearby. A guy sat away from me and I could pinpoint the speed of his heart beat by counting how fast it took for him to take a breath.
A smile appeared on my face. This guy was panicking. I wondered for a second if the other's knew I was conscious. They probably didn't just leaving me here like this on the floor alone. Like I had been my entire life. A smile crept onto my face.
I realised that I could move my muscles slightly. I experimented with facial expressions. Most oft hem worked. Since I was face down to the ground with my head slightly askew no one could see my face. Not even the panicked one who sat the closest to me.
I attempted to lick my lips and tasted the dirt that had gathered on them. They left a salty lingering on my tongue. Mouth control was back. Could I talk? The insults I could've thrown at this guy flooded into my mind. I'd been called enough to date to know a few exceptionally evil ones.
I closed my eyes, re-hydrating them and then began, "You scared, chicken boy?"
Not one of the worst I had, hell, it was mundane to say the most. His reaction, by the way he nearly jumped off his chair made me confirm the fact that everyone thought I was unconscious.
I could feel his eyes on me, to tell if I was really actually awake, or if in fact that he was hearing things. I visibly noted that his breath was growing faster along side his heart rate. Perhaps he wasn't use to a near dead man talking?
The thought brought me to laughter and I rolled myself over. Fine controls were a bit rusty, though most of my larger muscles were working a bit now. That meant I could laugh hysterically while never breaking eye-contact with this panicked soul
The look in his eyes made a scene play in my head.
"Can't keep him. He's too dangerous!" A harsh voice, but it was accompanied by the same look in his eyes. Panic and fear.
I snapped back and arched my back into a hunched position, resting my arms limply in my lap. I let out a breath of air. Water droplets slid down my cheeks, cold and wet. I was crying again.
The guy was watching me warily and I still kept an eye on his breathing, it was more regulated now, but still fairly fast for such a normal situation. We met eye contact again and I didn't look away.
Neither did the guy, we sat there staring at each other, locked in an ultimatum. Well, that's was what I was trying to portray at the very least. Since I had amazing eyesight, my peripheral vision could be focused on at the same time. I was subconsciously searching for my only possession.
My gun. My beautiful gun.
Something glinted and I knew immediately what it was. They had placed the gun next to the fainted figure of the girl. A crooked grin crept onto my face as I bolted up and swung my hand out. I was fine aiming for it, but I didn't know if I would get it anyway, because of the loss of control over my lesser muscles - hands and fingers included.
The guy stood and couldn't react fast enough. I slapped my hand down onto my gun and squeezed it in my hand. Then I pressed it against my face, rubbing it up and down. I cooed to it, like one would to a pet or baby, "Did you miss me? I'm sorry, I let them take you."
Then I took a deep breath and leant against the wall tucking the gun into my pants. To my relief the girl was still down and the guy was unsure how to react. I managed to talk first, "So, are you a mutant?"
*I gonna give this a little bit of a goal hope that's okay*
Adam
Bors kicked the dog and it rolled over I kicked at it and it spiralled over to Mercedes who gave it a final kick before I burnt it alive. suddenly every started to sway I could see Bors talking to me but I couldn't hear what he was saying suddenly I fell back and drifted into predictions of the future.
I opened my eyes I could smell spoke and hear the crackling of burning I looked around at the chaos which was the Safeway cracked buildings even the ceiling was destroyed and the blue sky shone. Again I looked and saw the pain in familiar faces. Len was lying on the floor his chest no longer pumping blood out of a bullet wound, Victoria crying over the body of Bobby. I walked into the patrol center and saw more death a blood stain leading down to a decapitated Bors. Mercedes pined up to a wall a smile forever etched into her dead face. I walked into the Patrol deck all the screens black except for a few that were still showing video feed. A guy I didn't know was sitting in the control chair dead his gun still in his hand. Korah laughed a pathetic laugh and my future self turned towards him I felt my powers drain. My future self took out his gun and shot Korah 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 times until he felt his powers surge back then I through his lifeless body into the control screens with a flick of my hand. I walked into the small medical room and saw Dinah not blind but with beautiful blue eyes she had two pistols pointed at me.
"I saw you coming" She said and emptied her clips but I raised my hands and the bullet stopped harmlessly a few feet away from me.
"so did I" I said flicking my hand again which pulled her to the floor she screeched along the floor as I pulled her toward me with my mind. Just as I was about to kill her a voice rang above the Chaos a voice I didn't know but did know at the same time
"Enough, you have avenged Kerry my friend and together we will do great things the eradication of these Mutants was but a first no together great things shall happen, my Brother in both arms and in genes" I still hadn't turned to look at him I had no control over what my future self was doing I could only watch in horror through his eyes. My so called brother stepped forward and my future self instinctively turned away I could see my brothers clothes he was wearing a pinstriped suit and had a tiny badge on indicating that he was the president but this wasn't the one I knew he was new. I heard a scream and a flash of blood came from the direction of Dinah and now my future self turned to face her decapitated body.
"hmm I should probably go wash my self before I speak to my adoring public". only now could I hear the cheers from out side
"No more mutants no more mutants" they all shouted.
Suddenly my vision ended and I woke up back in the present I was in the hospital Kerry stroking my hand I looked around at the people in the room all of them people I knew and loved except of course the guy from my vision the guy with the gun.
"We have to change it" I said to no one in particular.
*sorry if you don't like my bleak depiction of the future but I thought maybe we needed some focus you know a goal to work towards anyway if I didn't make it clear nobody's characters that were dead in my vision were actually dead it was just a vision*
*Ok, I don't want to drop this one just because my character seems to be nonexistent...so can you guys add her back in somehow? I sound like such a pain >.<*

All the humans were to report to the safe zones, something was going on. Something big.
We all sat around in the Safe House, which was the size of a high school gymnasium. There was about twelve different living rooms and TVs practically anything you'd need now that you think about it, even a nursery. It was one of the most guarded places, but to Sebastian there was something eerie about the fact it was so far underground. As an ex outdoorsman anything that didn't have natural sunlight just didn't feel right.
"Hey Sebastian, have you talked to Victoria?" A woman sat down beside me, "I heard she's up there with the mutants, somebody saw her sneak out last night. I can only imagine what she's going through now. Poor girl, lost eight of her best friends." She paused to test the waters, Sebastian showed no emotion "It's crazy to think that it was mutants who died no less. I wonder how she made it out."
"No, I don't know what's going on." He thought about how strange that was, Victoria had always given him reports when she snuck out with the mutants, she'd always come back to show him pictures of the sky.
"I'm sure they're fine though, maybe they're just doing this to make sure we are prepared for emergencies." He lied, something was wrong, something was really wrong.
Sebastian sat for the young girl to give him a respond.
**OK, so all the humans can start coming in. We can't leave the Safe House until Bobby comes and tells us though.**
Oh my gosh I'm at school for a few hours and this things is pages longer. PLEASE oh please can someone bring me in? Theres way too much for me to read in such a short amount of time.
If I can impact one person, just one, with my writing before I die, then I've lived a great life
Your “future” is rather interesting Joe! And not a bad piece of writing, I enjoyed reading it.
Oh and I had an idea I would love to apply for now on regarding Korah if you wouldn’t mind. From now on when any of you have visions of the future how about you don’t “see” im in any of it. Mostly because his power would cancel yours out so he wouldn’t appear in it. Hope that’s cool, thanks!
Hahaha and boy, everyone sure is fainting. And I’m not sure where to take this so here I go...
thefireinmeisJC, why don't you have Georgie and Korah walk back together, so she can do something. Also everyone check the Disscussion thread...
Nhara - Darkness
Nhara stared around at the room that was now crammed full with people. My how things had got exciting. Some person... she wasn’t sure who, stood in the corner of a room, stroking his gun. “So...” the man said as he looked up, “Are you a mutant?” It didn’t look like he was talking to anyone in particular, but Bobby answered, anyways, stepping up as he watch the person before him carefully.
Nhara didn’t know if the man even knew who Bobby really was. Bobby could turn the fool into a burnt crisp with the bat of an eye, yet the man seemed quite unfazed as he stared at the gun, as if it was a lover of his. “Yes we are, and I’m guessing you are to,” Bobby answered.
The man merely nodded as he gaze was once again drawn back to his fire arm. Shaking his head in disbelief Bobby turned around with a frustrated sigh as he turned to look at everyone. “Well... this sure has been an eventful day so far. According to Mercedes and Joe,” he said, nodding to the two who were being patched up by a doctor, “The last of the dogs have been dealt off so were clear for now. Why don’t the rest of you just take the day off for a bit, get some rest and I’ll see you all tomorrow.” The others nodded, most turning to mingle there way out of the room, some going in pairs, while others tramped off by themselves.
Bobby didn’t leave however, he turned to Nhara and the new arrival. “I need to talk to both of you, alone,” he added. “Come with me, that is if it is okay with the doc?”
“She’s fune,” the doctor said motioning to Nhara. Nodding Bobby waved her, and the man who seemed to be in love with his gun, and together they turned and followed Bobby out of the room...
Ken - Illusions/ Light
Ken stared at the small screen in front of him, his eyebrows raising in wonder as he watched the images flash across the screen. They were visual images, taken from the brains of the mutant dogs. They were all dead unfortunately. Not that he was surprised, him and Nhara had expected as much from the Mutants of Safeway. The mutant dogs had been attached with relay waves that allowed Ken to record their visual images. Of course the devices had been attached to the dog’s hearts, so as soon as they had died the devices had self destructed.
The dogs reign of terror had been short lived, but Ken had still managed to gather a lot of good data. Bobby was there, his power already evident. And the other mutants the dogs had encountered a number of mutants Ken had never had the pleasure of meeting before. He had ran all of their faces through the data banks and had come up with nothing. But he had entered them into the computer an had recorded what little information had been picked up from their fights, it would be interesting and useful in the future to come.
Closing the little computer with a click Ken slowly rose to his feet and stared off into the setting sun. “Let’s do this Nhara,” he whispered, “Let’s find the ones we came to get, I know you can do it...”
Race: Human (It'll be fun being the one danger ... if there is any XD)
Appearance: Wavy copper-red hair. She has bangs across her forehead that are always straightened. If she doesn't have her hair pinned up with a pencil and a 'conductor-styled' vintage black cap, she has it down, as described before. She has fair skin, with freckles on her nose in the summer. Bright green eyes that are always thinking and obvserving.
Place of Birth: Ireland, however she lost her accent. Only faint traces with some words.
Personality: Slightly apathetic, meaning she doesn't care for other people's business, unless they really want her to know. Sometimes sarcastic, witty, and clever.
History: Born in Ireland, she grew up on a farm where her parents had a Bed and Breakfast. She constantly had to fetch water and clean sheets. Her parents decided one day when she was fifteen to move to England, for better business, but Kori didn't want to leave. Her parents reluctantly let her stay (because she is headstrong and determined at times) and Kori decided at seventeen to move to the USA to help further her inventing career and get more inspiration.
When she arrived in the USA, she was immediately rushed to the Safeway. She has been there ever since.
Other: Up for love, of course. She has invented a 'hover-board' that is like a skate-board, but uses only solar-power and the air to make it work. (If this already isn't invented, of course.) She has an old gold stop-watch that her grandfather gave her. The time? It is always 3:56:51 am. The time her grandfather died.

So if anyone wants to bring me in ... she'd probably either be zooming around like a child on her board, or sketching new plans out slumped against a wall in a dark corner with her stopwatch out.
"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person.
I pushed the door open were countless reporters were yelling questions at me. I hushed them down and pointed towards the sound proof wall's that were closed and soldiers dressed in black with masks on stepped out surrounding the reporters.
"Now I know many people have been asking the question what am I planning?, having humans trained to defend like soldiers well I'll tell you to protect and save you" I said one of the reporters yelled out at me.
"why do we need soldiers we have mutants they protect and save us from every thing" I nodded and smiled at him
"but will they protect us from every thing will they protect us if we give an order they don't want to follow will they protect us if we do something they don't want us to, no they will abandon us and we will be left to fend for ourselves like little brothers who's big brother is leaving his school" I finished and every were was silent
"we will bring about a new age able to protect ourselves but no doubt I am not saying we don't need mutants I'm saying we need each over to protect ourselves not some hybrids but of course I don't say mutant need to be killed I leave that choice to the President, thank you no more questions". The reporters erupted with questions again but I ignored them as
A member of Gawp walked up to me.
"so what if the president doesn't agree with you" I pulled on my coat as the Gawp member babbled away.
"He won't but don't worry it's all part of the plan" I said getting into my limo with an evil smile on my face.
*sorry for the monologue I know it doesn't really make any sense but sorry*
*I'm a little confused at the present state of everything so if this doesn't jive with what's already posted my apologies beforehand...we have a lot of people*
Georgie
"All humans need to go to the Safe House." Bobby said, wearily.
I stood there not knowing what to do. What just happened? Did I just heal her? But that would mean...
"That means you too, Georgina." Bobby said walking away with the woman I had put my hands over and another guy.
I was too much in shock to correct him on my name. Korah was standing around in the room.
"What just happened?" I asked him.
"You healed her for me? Thanks by the way." Korah said, smiling.
"I'm tired. We're probably going to have a meeting about all this...these dogs." Korah drifted off, "So I better get some rest."
"Yeah, you should. So should I but I guess I have to go to the Safehouse." I said, wondering if that still applied.
There was a small silence I was walked back to main streets of the Safeway.
"So...what do you feel when you do-" I started.
"My power?" Korah asked, he shrugged as if it was hard to describe.
There was another silence.
"Do you think I have powers?" I asked.
"I don't know, Georgie. I don't know." Korah said, looking straight ahead.
"Thanks for walking with me. There's the Safehouse." I said, making my turn.
Korah waved and walked away.
I went into the gymnasium only to be bear hugged by Julia.
*Sorry DSF if I got Korah's character wrong. I used a lot of his dialogue...I'll change it if you want me to."
She kneeled on the ground, in one of the darkest corners of the Safeway. People were rushing by, mingling, or simply just a little perturbed. They'd heard about some man's plan to make humans-- when they already had Mutants-- warriors.
Kori scoffed at their worry. None of them had an particularily amazing power. They were just ... well-- boring. No special talents to set them apart. Then again, I don't have any, either, Kori said, tugging the pencil out of her hair, and letting her waves cascade over her shoulders.
She began sketching her newest plan. Skywrath, II she called it. Her second design of a hover-board that was supposed to be solar powered, and use the air to allow it to move. She planned one day on just filtering the air and having it move that way ... but she knew she'd have to start fixing the original plan.
The last Skywrath had died. Just sputtered and crashed. Kori had luckily landed on her butt-- creating padding from the fall. If she'd landed on her wrist, it surely would've been broken.
Kori sat for hours, possibly even a day, just modifying the board itself. Finally, once she finished tightening the last screw, she flicked a switch. A tiny light blue-- almost white-- light flashed, then the board hovered close to the ground. Kori hopped on-- and began soaring. Through the Safeway. Above the heads of the gawking people.

If my profile isn't okay, then I can completely and totally modify this post. Just let me know. And anyone-- please-- can jump in.
"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person.
**Heys guys, I think everything needs to settle down and get back to a... 'normal' state for a bit. As most of you know DSF will be gone for a few days and I'd like to keep his characters as active as possible. By the way, Dinah is going to be out cold for a while so the most she can do right now is lay in a hospital bed unconcious **
(Bobby Farbor)
Bobby led the two new people into an empty room across the hall where he could talk with them in private. Although, he'd much rather be with Dinah and Victoria.
"Please, tell me how you got here, Nhara" Bobby asked.
"I was running from those dogs and I just blacked out" she told him in an honest, confused voice.
"And you" Bobby asked Ringo this time, ready to burn the crazy boy if he had to. Even if it was against Dinah's wishes.
**Very short... But, that's all I got**
Love of mine, someday you will die. But I'll be close behind, to follow you into the dark.

I gave my gun another pat and stared at the man, making my eyes innocently wide, "And me?"
I could feel the hate burning off of him in waves and I coudl tell he really didn't like me. I smiled and pulled him in close wrapping an arm around his shoulders. He tensed under my grip ready to throttle me, but I cocked my baby to his head and he stopped.
I grinned, "What about me, old man?"
From where I was standing I could see every detail on the guys face. Every single hair in ihs eyebrow, the wrinkles next to his eyes. I smiled, "What? No answer?"
His breathing quickened and achieving my goal I stepped away from him, but kept my gun pointing to his face. I was now in line with Nhara, or whatever this man had called her.
The man gave me a cold stare, "I have half a mind to burn you."
I chuckle a little bit, my aim never faltering, "And I've got about a full mind to shoot you right now, any objection?"
The man growled. My smile widened, "You know, you seem like a good guy . . "
The look on the mans face lightened a little bit, and then I added, "I really dislike good guys."
His face went dark again. The girl had been watching in silence and I ignored her presence. Right not it was just between us to. Who had the stonger will? The man stared back at me his brown eyes glinting with iron will.
He was stubborn, I could tell it by the look in his eyes. Stubborn people needed to be dealt with. In my world you either melded yourself around the circumstances or you died. My world was the real world. I think it was abou time for this guy to wake up.
Dropping my gun about 45 degrees I shot at his foot. I missed purposely, seeing the shock on his face was more of what I had been aiming for. The man growled, "Dinah's wrong. We should kill you!"
The smile that was widening on my face froze, mid stop. Image flashed vividly through my mind and voices swirled.
"We should kill him! Kill him!" a man shouted. I remembered those eyes, paicked and fearful.
"No, we have to make sure they never get him!" a womans voice; soft, but demanding.
"Exactly give me the freak! I have my gun already!" the man's voice was rising into a shrill high pitched squeak.
"NO!"
BANG!
The gun, my baby, my only possession fell from my hands and my arms fell limply to my sides. Silent tears ran down my face. The man was staring at me, shock on his face. Clearly he couldn't believe I was crying. An expression I couldn't immediately identify ran across his face.
Only a millisecond passed and our eyes met contact. Before my gun could hit the floor I stooped over and picked it from free fall. The look he had given me was pissing me off. Because I had seen that look before.
In the eyes of ongoers, watching me being brutally beat up. In the eyes of watchers when I ate scraps they threw out.
I hated that look.
I absolutely hated it.
I pointed my baby at his feet, this time aiming at them accurately. My face drew into a murderous look and an evil grin crept onto my face. Then I began to pull the trigger, repeatedly. Again and again and again.
But I missed everytime.
The tears in my eyes blurred my sight, like a fuzzy film had been pressed over my eyes. I squatted down and place my now empty gun on the floor. I stared up at the man who obvisouly couldn't believe what was happening.
Running my hands down the side of my face I growled up at him, "I hate pity. Never show it to me again."
Then from my crouching positon I leapt up at him and with the surprise as an advantage tackled him to the floor. Grabbing his shirt, I shook him violently, "Never ever again!!!"
Then I rolled off of him with a smile, wiped the tears from my eyes, picked my gun back up and cooed to it, trying to soothe my anger, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let you get dirty . ."
The man stared up at me. I didn't care what the look in his eyes was. My gun was my whole world and I would never let let it get in this state again. I took a breath, let the smile on my face widen and then placed my gun back into my pants with the holding part stuck out.
I tilted my head at the man, as if confused, "What about me, Pity Giver?"
Bobby stood still, staring at the boy. He wasn't confused. He wasn't scared or panicked and he nolonger wanted to kill this boy, but he would burn him if he had to. Dinah was right though, he shouldn't die.
"Well, are you stupid or are you going to ask me the question?" the boy asked.
"I'm not going to kill you. Maybe when Dinah wakes up we can figure out what's happened to you" Bobby said and turned away from the boy, his back him and Nhara both.
"Now, what could you mean by that?" the boy didn't sound worried as he asked the question.
"My daughter, she is capable of seeing all memories of people she touches. But, with that, she also feels any emmotions or pain felt by the person she touches. She did that to you while you were out of it" Bobby told him, still not turning back around. "If you even look at her in a way I don't like, you'll be dead within minutes."
Love of mine, someday you will die. But I'll be close behind, to follow you into the dark.
