I walked with Kerry down the darkened streets Bobby had killed one of the Dogs but their were still 5 left.

"I think we should have pink roses and bluebells at the wedding" Kerry said off in her own world this was unlike her normally serious on the job but ever since I had proposed to her she'd been in a state of confusion and happiness.

"yeah me to but what I really think is that maybe you should be quiet" I said no doubt that comment would back to bite me in the arse as we rounded the corner a dog leaped at us I punched it in the face but it grabbed my arm and pulled me down throwing me into a bench. Kerry shot at it three times with her shotgun but the bullet bounced of his thick skin. the dog bit her and started sucking not chewing, sucking. I took out my charge pistol and shot the dog he let go of her and she stumbled back. I felt a burn going up my hand as I raised it to punch the dog

"Die" I shouted punching it but instead of just a punch a flame burst out and the dog broke into fiery pieces. That wasn't right I didn't have flame that was Bobby power but now wasn't the time for that right now we had to kill the dogs really it wasn't that hard to do when you found them but in a fast city totally blacked out it was dam hard to find them. Then as I blinked everything didn't go black it was kind of an Erie blue kind of like what Dinah had described her seeing to be like and just as she had said she could see through walls with it I looked around and saw two dogs they were in a shop tearing everything up. I wondered what other powers I might be able to mimic. I thought of Kerry's power and how it would be easier to get to the creatures if I suck in from the top window. I jumped and sure enough I stayed floating.

(Mutant)Mercedes~

Dinah, Korah, Bobby, and Victoria all stood around the injured woman in the hospital bed. The doctors had taken her into surgery as soon as she was brought in. I stood at the foot of her bed and hid my leg from everyone else's eyes. I had a huge slash stretching from my knee to my ankle and I was almost positive it was oozing blood. That dog had obviously been a mutant and I knew it wasn't good to go around with an untreated wound especially from a mutant.

"I don't know her name. Like I said there was no I.D., but I'm guessing she's new." The silence was so heavy I could've swore I heard a pin drop. My voice brought a lot of eyes up to meet my gaze. Bobby however was staring out the window, deep in thought. Silence desended again until Bobby's walkie talkie went off.

"Bobby! Bobby, we have a situation!" Kerry's voice shook with pure fear. I could hear the panic in her voice and like lighting Bobby had the device in his hand and to his mouth within a second.

(Bobby Farbor)

"Please, don't tell me its another dog" Bobby said into the walkie talkie. There was a long pause and Bobby started swearing under his breath, "I'll be right there." Bobby turned to Dinah and shook his head like he knew exactly what she was thinking, "No, Dinah. You're not coming, you're going to stay here with Victoria, Len and Korah. Mercedes, you're coming with me."

"Yes, sir."

(Dinah Lynch)

Dinah looked down to her feet and when she glanced back up, Mercedes and her father were gone. Victoria took Dinah's hand reassuringly and Len put his hand on her shoulder, making her smile.

"So... What happens if she wakes up?" Korah asked, standing a bit away from everyone.

"She smells like a mutant" Dinah said after sniffing her and a look of discomfort showedon her face. Why does she smell so familiar? she thought and sighed.

I went alone like I always did. I found it more comforting that if anything happened it would be all my fault, and only I would get hurt, not anyone else. I did a quick circuit of my sector but didn't find anything. I was resting on the top of a building when the first distress call came. The second came minutes later, but I wasn't in a position to help. I thought I might as well try to be of assistance and dropped off the building. I landed silently in a crouch. When I looked up I was staring right into a pair of red eyes.

I reacted as quickly as I could and jumped backwards, pulling out my pistol and firing a couple of shots before I hit the ground. I cursed, they weren't doing anything. I hopped up but had to throw myself into the air to avoid the dog's charge. When I landed I turned to shoot it, but it was faster than I expected and jumped on me. I feat its teeth dig into my shoulder before I managed to throw it off me.

I blinked once and my vision pulsed. Suddenly I could see multiple versions of the dog, as if it was a movie slowed down to the point where you could see all of the individual still shots. I saw it leap at me and dove to the side, reaching for my radio as I did.

"Hey Bobby, I know this isn't the best time, but I just found another one of the freaky dog things. I can probably take it but I just need to know how to kill it. Bullets aren't working."

"Fire works pretty well."

"Not really an option." I said as I jumped out of the way of another charge.

"I'll send some help then. Just try and hold it off."

I didn't bother to answer. The dog stopped and looked at me. It cocked it's head and started coming in slower, circling me.

So it was smart. It came t me fast then, not charging, but clawing. A claw ripped through my jacket and I got an Idea. Maybe blades would work. My sword slid out of it's sheath with a hiss. The beast swung, and used the sword to parry. The blade came away red. It was only a small cut, but at least I knew I could kill it. But I didn't even need to do that, I just needed to hold it off.

"You okay?" I asked nervously, just because I wasn't used to asking people that. I wasn't used to asking people anything. Orders I could handle but actuall conversations?

Dinah had looked uncomfortable for a second, after she'd made the comment about the woman being a mutant. She didn't like being left behind, either. That much was clear.

(I forgot to mention, Dinah can look inside the memories of other people if she touches them. But, she can also feel their pain/anger/ etc... Whatever the people felt in there memories)

(Dinah Lynch)

"Um. Yeah..." Dinah mumbled, still a bit uncomfortable and confused. "Its just- Well... She smells familiar" she whispered.

"How could you know her? No one else here does" Victoria said, almost as confused as Dinah was.

"Maybe if I..." Dinah trailed off as she started to move her hand to the unconcious lady's forehead, but Len was quick to act and stopped her.

"Dinah, no. We should wait before you do anything like that" Len told her, holding her hand in his for a second before Dinah's face went hot, she snatched back her hand and stuffed it into the pocket of her over-sized jacket.

"You're right. I'm sorry" was all she could say.

(Bobby Farbor)

"Mercedes, please. Go find Bors and help him, get back to me as soon as possible" Bobby told to the girl beside him.

"Yes, sir! I'll be as fast as possible" she said and turned around to run the opposite way.

Bobby finally got to Adam and Kerry who were now fighting two of those dog things.

"Bobby! What are these things?" Kerry shouted to him.

"I don't know" Bobby simply said. He had a pretty good idea though. They were mutated dogs.

Bobby turned to one of the dogs and closed his eyes, then opened them again. The dog started yelping in pain and soon burst into flames just as the first had. Before he could find the next one it had jumped him from behind, it's claws digging into Bobby's skin, burning as if some kind of poison was running through his veins now. Throwing it off of his back, it started to burst into flames.

"Sir!" Adam and Kerry screamed at the same time. "We've got to get him to the hospital, Adam!" Kerry told her fiance.

"No! We've got to wait for Mercedes and Bors, or go find them. I'll be fine" Bobby said, giving them a smile.

When Mercedes got there things became easier but not by much. We pushed it up against the wall and I would get some slashes at it, but it was just too fast for us to take. I started to get frustrated and I felt my blood pulsing through my veins. Without thinking I pointed at the dog and flicked my wrist. The dog jerked backwards and flew through the wall. Telepathy. Thats new. As soon as I dropped my hand though I felt the impact it had on my energy. My sword nearly slipped out of my hands and I drooped against the wall.

I saw Adam land on the road next to me.

"It's through the hole."

"Right."

Kerry helped the limping Bobby through the door of the hospital, his breath was coming in gasping, hoarse sounding coughs and his ripped shirts was covered in his blood. The scratch marks on his back were deep gashes, burning him like fire. Is this what those beings felt when I burned them? he thought and was ready to possibly die. But, he was a strong man and this wasn't going to kill him.

"Kerry, leave me here and go help Adam. I'll stay here with the kids and that woman" Bobby told Kerry.

"Okay, but you better have Dinah check your wounds. She'll know exactly what's going on" Kerry said as Bobby limped his way down the hall and to a door.

"Of course."

Leo began running from a pack of dogs, knowing he couldn't take them all by himself. After a while, he knew he had no choice to attack them. They have to be some kind of mutant dogs too, he thought. Then he began using his telekinetic powers to attack them. Finally the dogs he down, and he continued running. He figured more would come. Leo didn't want to face another pack, his energy was pretty drained by now. Turning around a corner, he ran into another group of kids attacking a dog.

*Hey guys! Georgie the uninvolved human here. Um, can someone bring me in? I may change Georgie to mutant so she can actually do something...ugh. Or she'll randomly discover she's a mutant. You know what? I'll do that.*
*boltageman: Sure. I know, I do so well with Leighton, don't I?xD*

Georgie

After walking with Dinah and Mercedes to the patrol center, I headed over to the pool for a swim. Human life is lonely in the Safeway sometimes especially when I can't find Julia to play/tease/laugh so hard you'll cry with.

The water was cold as ever. I loved it. The way it chilled me to the bone was so refreshing. All my worries about Bobby, the break in, all this Safeway business could be washed away.

I wondered what everyone was doing right now. Probably normal routines. With abnormal powers. I wish I was a mutant. So I could actually belong somewhere. Sure, the others are family but you don't see me blowing things up. Or becoming invisible. Or any of that cool stuff.

I'm just a stinkin human.

I can't even breath under water.

I started to cry like I always do when no one is looking. Its bad for my image.

My normal swim wasn't enjoyable as it usually was so I reluctantly got out and dried myself off. I was wearing a black one peice swimsuit though Julia is always saying I should wear my purple bikini. She says I look better in it.

I don't believe her nor do I care.

As I put my clothes on, I heard screaming.

My head swirled. Was there another break in?

I knew I was supposed to be the protected areas only but I ran anyways.

It was like something was pulling me towards the hospital. I could almost hear a woman's voice.
Georgina, go to the hospital

I didn't know what but my legs bolted as fast as a cheetah towards the building.

As soon as I got to the front steps, I saw Dinah crying.

*cheezy I know. Kill me later. I may edit this....connecting with spirits was the first thing that came to mind.*

Aghhh this is long and I am sorry about that. I was just feeling SUPER inspired and I saw a great chance to grow Korah, plus show one of his powers a bit. Hope this is okay with you all, and don't worry, no one dies.

Joe: Hahah I see we have a Peter Petrelli on our hands

Korah - Ability to Reject what has been done and to Turn Off other Mutants Powers

Korah reeled, he felt like his whole world was slowly beginning to crumble around him. The woman in the bed before them was hooked up to so many machines she looked more like a cyborg then an actual person. Wires and IVs were connected to her arms and headed, steadily pumping in blood and medicine to try and stabilize her. But she was dying. The dogs had taken a massive bite out of her side, taking a few organs and tearing one of her lungs in half, the doctors weren’t giving her more than an hour.

And then there was Bobby… looking over Korah cast a nervous glance at their leader. He had only arrived a few minutes ago, but had passed out shortly after arriving. The doctors had quickly rushed to his aid, as had Dinah who was starting to even show a little worry and panic. Poison. That was all the doctors, knew, what type, how strong, they were unsure of, but it was clear the poison from the dogs was burning Bobby’s body from the inside out, slowly eating away at his very life force.

And then there was Mercedes. Korah felt a flash of pain as he realized she had been slashed as well. The cut hadn’t been anywhere near as deep as Bobby’s had but if the dogs were poisonous maybe she would feel the pain soon to… what was happening? Was everyone dying? A sudden beeping noise alerted him that something was wrong, and looking up he saw that the machine was connected to Bobby. “Were loosing him!” a doctor called as a flurry of nurses came pouring into the room. Seconds later Bobby’s shirt was ripped open and a smooth gel was rubbed along his chest as they got out the paddles and rubbed them together. “Clear!” a doctor called as an electrical shocked was poured into Bobby, trying to restart his heart that was quickly crashing.

Korah heard a sob from the door and turned to see Victoria stumble in. She could already see what was going on, her face pale as she hurried over to Dinah. The two girls held each other, their faces pale and silent tears streaming down their cheeks as the doctor called, “Clear!” again and they all watched Bobby’s body lurch under the electrical current. Nothing. His heart still didn’t beat. “Again!” the doctor screamed, this time panic rising in his voice as once again they shocked Bobby. A Pulse. All the tension from the room seemed to dissolve as the familiar beep beep of a heart could be heard. “We’ve got him back,” the doctor called with a nervous laugh as he wiped the sweat from his brow.

“Is he going to be alright then?” Dinah asked, a hopeful expression on her face.

“I’m sorry,” the doctor whispered, “Unless we can find some way to stop the poison coursing through his body his heart will continue to crash, he and the woman don’t have long.”

Dinah didn’t answer, as Victoria closed her eyes and silently shook her head, as if she hoped the Nightmare would go away, Dinah turned to Korah. “Korah,” she said, her voice shaky and hoarse, “We need you to use your gift.”

“B-But I don’t know if I could,” Korah stuttered as a wave of fear swept over his body. “I mean Bobby has been working with me on it but I don’t know… I don’t know if I can do it.”

“You have to,” Dinah said, trying to give him an encouraging smile though he could see she was just as panicked as he was.

Nodding slowly Korah stepped over to Bobby’s body and closed his eyes. His power to “reject” what had been done to an object, and thus to fix it was something that had only been discovered a couple of years ago. They had all thought his only ability was to simply turn off other mutants powers. But as he had learned to pull back his ability, to make it so that those around him didn’t loose their powers, to keep it like a small bubble around him, he had also learned how to create holes in the bubble. By creating holes he could use his other power, the ability to reject what had been done. It was hard, in the past couple years Bobby had been working with him he had barley managed to actually do it more then a couple times. But this was different, Bobby need him, his life hung in the balance.

Closing his eyes Korah stretched out his hand as he imagined his power like a bubble around him. All he had to do was stretch it out and every mutant around him would loose their gifts. That was the easy part, the hard part was trying to bring it in. Focusing hard he imagine the bubble growing closer, and closer around him, and then he imagined a small opening appear. Shaking with fear he slowly stretched his hand out of the bubble and pushed it toward Bobby’s body. His eyes were closed so he couldn’t see, but the doctors and the two girls in the room saw it all. A faint silvery light began to slowly fall from Korah’s fingers. Like wisps of smoke they wafted down to Bobby, cradling his body in their glowing fingers. They entered his mouth, nose, ear, every opening and Bobby let out a slight moan as the large scratches on his back slowly began to disappear and fade, healing and dissolving to the point where not even a scar remained. As the last silver wisp faded Korah took a shaky step back and nearly collapsed on the ground, except that Victoria managed to reach out and catch him.

“You did it,” Dinah breathed as Bobby let out a cough and slowly opened his eyes.

He looked around groggily, slightly confused as the doctor rush forward to check him out. “I’ve never seen anything like it in all my years,” the doctor breathed as he confirmed Bobby was fine. Not a trace of the poison or cuts were left.

Bobby didn’t have to ask to know what had happened. He simply reached over and squeezed Korah’s shoulder with a grin. “Thanks bud,” he whispered, “know you could do it.” Korah smiled weakly, feeling exhausted as he shakily stood to his feet and moved toward the woman.

“Wait Korah,” Dinah said, reaching for his arm, “Don’t push yourself to much, you’re already exhausted.”

“But I can’t let her die,” Korah whispered, as he turned to look at Dinah. “I have to power to heal her, and I will.” Minutes later Korah collapsed to the floor as the wounded woman let out a gasp and sat up, the whole in her side gone and every organ repaired. Bobby helped the doctors lift Korah to a bed as he ordered someone to contact Mercedes, she had been slashed by the dogs to. Korah didn’t really hear anything else, he was to exhausted and as he closed his eyes he fell into a deep sleep.

*DSF: That's awesome. Georgie can come in here...*

Georgie

I ran into the hospital room to see Korah on the hospital bed.

"Is he ok?" I gasped.

"Georgie?! What are you doing here? You're a human!" Dinah said, recognizing my voice.

"I dunno. Something told me to come here. Is he ok?" I asked again, sweat streaming down my forehead.

"I think so. Its her who is hurt." Victoria said for Dinah.

I looked at the woman who I had never seen before. She was bleeding everywhere and had scars covering her body.

"I think something is telling me to heal her." I said.

"What?" Dinah exclaimed.

I shooshed her and almost instinctively put my hands over her body. She could hear the voice more clearly now.

Heal her, Georgina. You are a mutant

*erm, I forgot that Korah had the power of healing...is that ok if Georgie can do it too? She can also sense whenever there is a person nearby in pain so its a little different.*
