~For Our Beloved Snoink~

Hey everyone!
As you know, poor Snoink has been overworked,
And is taking time off YWS to focus on her studies.

This was an idea sparked by Cat_910, who suggested that I draw something up for Snoink.
So I was thinking:
How about instead of simply me drawing everything,
You guys/girls chip in your ideas!
I could design a card cover,
Then those who want to send her well wishes,
Write and decorate your well wishes on a paper or something,
Then scan it and post the picture here,
And I arrange everything into a PDF card.
So it'll be like the front page is the coloured drawing I'll be making (with any ideas from you guys)
And then the rest of the pages are all your handwritten doodles and well wishes for Snoink,
Which I'll pass to Griffinkeeper?

I saw snoink's name was orange and was like :O when did that happen?
Hrmm. I'll start thinking of ideas.

One thing I have to say, though: it must include pigs/piglets. :p

Tori, you could ask your friend to help you scan, or try to take a clear picture with your cam.
If you're unable to do any of these,
I'll put your name in the last page, with any other people who can't send their well wishes.

Aww, yeah, I noticed that Snoinkus turned orange and was taking some time off. We have to support that decision, though, remember everyone: it's okay to put things on the card and letters like 'we miss you' and 'hope you're doing well' but try not to guilt her into coming back or anything until she feels like she's ready. YWS loves dear Snoink with all of our hearts, right?

Great idea though. I'm artistically challenged, but I'll try to come up with something.

IDEA: Maybe we can write a poem about Snoink? Something funny and rhyming. Maybe everyone can contribute one line or something?

Well, obviously not everyone. Talk about a long poem! But you know what I mean.

I'll write a poem!

*starts furiously writing about cute little piggies*

A poem! Yes!

We can do a picture, then a poem, and, and, and.....

(goes off rambling lots of stuff that we could never do)

And we could send her a piglet! And make a type of ice cream in her honor! And....

Because we think Snoink is impressive, and we want to show her that!

Here is an idea: If some members want, they could write short poems for Snoink and post them here. Then, Meep can put them on the card along with drawings.

But, I agree with Evi. Don't say, "Come back!"
Instead, say stuff like, "We appreciated all the work and effort you did for us!"

Give me a little time to come up with something! I'll try to have it for you guys .

And! For those of you who have scanners, autographs make great gifts, even if you aren't famous . So! If you can't write/draw anything, maybe signing your name and scanning it in/taking a picture of it will do good

Funny rhyming poetry? You speak of the impossible! ><

But on a more serious note: this is a fantastic idea, Meep! Snoink is a lovely member who needs to be reminded that all of us appreciate what she's done and how she'll be missed.
I'll definitely try to contribute something. Time to dust off the ol' sketchbook, I suppose!
