OKay, if your a old member, the plot is still basically the same. For new members, the setting is what would be known as The Victorian Times. (hence the title...) WE live in a time period where your life is basically controlled by your parents, no matter their station. Your going to a ball, were your betrothed is named, and you have to find them. (if your new, make up a character and pick up after teh names have been called.) Please try adn keep the gender even. AFter that, you can basically take it from tehn on. It's you life..... Station: Part of the rising middle class men who has got a invitation to the ball thanks to his high status in the army and for the fact that he has been knighted and has earned a place in the house of commons.

history: Born into the lower middle class family that owned a small pottery company. He left his family at the age of 14 into the army lying about his age to be 16, he got drafted into Americas to fight the rebels, from there he used the next six years of his life going around the army bases victory after victory learning from his defeats and growing stronger from every victory, he soon got a status that was normally only for Nobel and was promoted to a Brigadier. He then left the army and went back home where his father had died and left him the family business. He then took over and in three years had changed the small pottery company into a big art investing and pottery company. He had also started a cotton wool clothing company and a pie company. He also invested on sea trade with the new trading laws that had been put up.

Personality: Outgoing, the Victorian era values aren't that big of a deal for him but he does obey them when he sees that it is fit.

Other: He is a abolitionist, which means that he is against any form of slavery and his cotton is bought from abolishionist farms. He gets some critique from this and most of it is negative but he doesn't care. Also some nobles don't like him because in a sense he is not even a noble.

Appearance: He has shoulder length, wavy black hair and brown eyes. He has fair skin, and wears the typical court clothing, but favours a blue coat of his.

Station: Former heir

History: He is the son of a French Marquis in exile, his family has been living in London since the French Revolution and his father is an avid enemy of the new French government. He wants nothing more than to see the remainder of the French aristocracy reinstated - in no small part due to the fact that he would be close to in line for the throne if it did happen, and would only have to remove one man. Rémi, on the other hand, is a little more preoccupied with girls and having fun at this stage, much to his father's displeasure.

Personality: He's flirtatious and, in his father's eyes, decadent - of the same kind of Frenchman responsible for the discontent that led to the Revolution.

Personality: Similar to Rémi, but not as decadent, far more focused, ambitious and competitive.
