"I can't wait to see the look on her face." I grinned and grsped the bags in my lap on the way back "home". I had chosen a pretty dress for Lei, black and polka dot, perfect for a party like this and another one for myself. i also had a thing of hair product to turn the dulling brown to jet black. I smiled and ran to the room with the bag.
I put Lei's stuff on the bed and ran back to my room, the black would compliment my eyes or so said the store clerk. I laughed and put my dress on a hanger, something that wasn;t my first choce for a dress, but it was "hot" so whatever. That's what I was aiming for.

Passing out of the door I intended to go to the skate park and ask for a delayed tryout. I limped on and made it to the park. There was the coach watching some people go.
"Hey mister Vandyke." I asked the coach whose name did not fit. He was Jamaican with dread lock going down, he wore a beanie cap and lose more surfer clothes.
"Yeah Nick." He asked then saw my leg. "oh."
"Yeah I was wondering if i could tryout next Friday when this comes off." I asked hopefully.
"Sure thing." He said. "But how did it happen."
"Skating. I was trying to get to my room quickly, but I took an off trail and I didn't know there were stairs and couldn't stop before I fell."
The coach thought on that for some reason then shook his head. "I'm sorry Nick, I know your good and all but i can't have you being so risky. I'm sorry but you'll have to go out next year. But i hope to see you go out for skiing or snowboarding this winter, surfing in the spring to."
"sure I'll make sure to do that." I said limping away. Great now what. Then it hit me, in the face to be exact. A flier hit me in the face. I peeled it off and saw it was for the Mascot, people with skills in performance please come. And it was for next Saturday. I just got something new to do.

We went in and snuggled on his largest couch and watched an old black and white movie, the good kind. I stared at my soccer captain and he snuggled my nose, and I giggled more. As I watched the movie I thought that it should be illegal to kiss May. But if that was the case, then I would be all to willing to go to jail.
After the movie I noticed that she was asleep. I picked her up and moved her back to her room. I layed her on the bed and threw the covers over her. When she was tucked in I leaned over and kissed her lightly on the lips. When I pulled back she was smiling.
I murmered "Good Night."
"No! Stay."
"As you wish."
I layed down on top of the covers and wrapped her in my arms. When she was soundly asleep I soundlessly got up and walked out to the living room. Alyse gave me a wierd look so I stuck my tongue out at her. She laughed as I walked out the door.
I brushed my teeth and then hopped in bed. My dreams were good.

I hobbled back to my room then stopped by Lei's room. Walking in the open door and found Lei in her room. Knocking on the door I waited for her to turn. She was wearing a beautiful dress.
"oh hey Nick." she said as she turned. "so what do you think."
Putting on the impression of one of the stereotypical gay guys in a fashion store i looked at her. "Oh honey, oh sweety, oh gal pal oh...I...Absolutly adore it. Now come give me a hug girlfriend." She gave me a laugh then a hug.
"so you want to do something." I asked as we walked to her bed.
"sure but what." She asked.
"Well, I have a friend. And he got me some bootleg movies. The ones not even in theaters want to watch one of those."
"sure." She said. "Just let me change. I'll meet you in your room."
"Okay" I said and walked out. Making my way out I passed Alyse asleep on the coach. Passing by I went to my room. Sat on the coach after selecting a random movie and placing it in the box. When Lei came in a motioned her to join me and i played it. The movie ended up being "The Pink Panther 2". Though we only got a few laughs in before twenty minutes had passed and we were locking lips.

I picked out one white dress that I really love. It turned out to be great on me. I had to see Maria so that we could discus our party looks. I called her
